I can see lots of TANKs taking JC for this gem only. It has 3 bonus IMO:

-More Stam
-Fill 3 colour socket towards Meta gem requirements
-Allows for MORE STAM while maintaining item bonus from being gemed (you know, IE yellow blue blue, red red blue)

IE, Use this one in 3 items that had red/yellow so they get stam AND bonus set on item they really want!

It is me or i cant see the work unique on the gems.

If is no unique u can put 3 of those gems on you
(3x41 stam=123 stam).everyone things that is cool for tanks but u cant put any Jc gems on you. damm

I quite don't understand by this unique-equiped.

Does it mean you need 3 prismatic gems for EACH Dragon's eye you wanna socket?
Does it mean you need 3 prismatic gems to socket ONLY ONE of these?
Does it mean that you can socket only 3 Dragon's eye (regardless of the type) in total?

This was made before the actualy Dragon Eyes were implemented, so i don't know about the downvotes, as I actually refference the real usage of the unique gems in the 3rd point.

To clarify, Unique Equipped (3) means that you can only wear gear with 3 of these gems at a single time.

You can make as many as you like but only have 3 at a time on your person.

That means you can make 3 of these stam gems for your tank gear, then have 3 dps gems in your dps set (assuming none of the gear overlaps)

Does it mean that www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=42702 will count as one of "Prismatic Gems(3)" ?

The yellow text for the Dragon's Eye gems say that you cannot have more than three "jeweler's gems." The Enchanted Tear and Enchanted Pearl don't count as Jeweler's gems, so you can still have 3 ____ dragon's eyes and however many enchanted tears you want

According to mmo-champion, in 3.2 these dragons eyes are going to be +51 stam. so a buff of +10 stam. How many og thooes can you have equipped in all items? 3-4 ? The JW tanks are probably happy now :P 3-4 of 51 stamina + rest just 30 stamina everywhere =)

Depends on if you are Def Capped or not... If not, well.. you might want to get better gear before adding gems to anything. If so then go with the Stam for sure.

Originally when the JC changes were first announced, they said they were going to give refunds in tokens to compensate for the change. But obviously that didn't happen and plans changed.

In the next major content patch we will be removing the prismatic quality of the jewelcrafter-only Dragon’s Eye gems. Like other gems, they will have to match the socket color to receive a socket bonus. When this change occurs, players with qualifying jewelcrafting skill will be provided a yet to be determined amount of Dalaran Jewelecrafter Tokens as compensation.

I dunno... a 2'5" gnome can really severely incapacitate with a blunt object if it only hits what it can reach.... but then again, only male cow/humans would have to worry.
