IMHO, these are the best looking shoulder armor available at lower levels, especially if you're a class that can only wear cloth!

I eventually got rid of them at lvl 36 when I got the ugly leather Nocturnal Shoulder Pads (they look like tractor tires) due to better stats.

I mistakenly thought that you got the Crest of Darkshire OR the Mantle of Honor for the Bride of the Embalmer quest, so I was looking forward to getting just a nice shield for my Paladin. Once I got both, I was like "Cloth shoulders, pfft!" but then I saw the stats and that they actually look pretty cool with my Silvered Bronze armor, so I put them on and haven't regretted it yet. I gave up a lot of armor to use these (only had Rough Bronze Shoulders before anyways) instead of other shoulders but they are the best single INT or SPI item I have right now. A good option for any caster or hybrid caster.

Yes I have the item it isn't fleathered. Its a tripple layer gold trim, silver shoulders.

That picture is wrong. The mantle is mainly white with some gold/blue (iirc).
