As of 3.1 you are now able to restore this or the Summer Skies tabard through the tabard vendor if deleted.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but currently it seems impossible to do the tabard quest again during Midsummer Festival 2009 to get the second tabard (the quest item will just not drop for you if you did it in 2008), so you cannot own both tabards at the same time.

However, you can still do the trick described above (as of 3.1.3) and change your tabard by destroying your current one and choosing the other one from the tabard vendor. So at one time, you can own either https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=35279 or https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=35280 but never both at the same time.

Yes, destroying the quest reward tabard and retrieving the other counts as 2 tabards towards the achievement.

OK this is how you get it. First, it can only be achieved during the Mid-summer festival. Second. u need to be lvl 70. KK, how u get it is u have to get a quest to kill Ahune the Frost Lord. After u kill him, he drops a chest with his drops. inside the chest is a shard. u accept q and then u get choice of 2 tabards and walla.

This tabard is not easy to get imo, Ahune is a beast, I haven't killed him yet :(. Eight failure groups, I've seen noobs running around in this that wear greens though ;_;

Any suggestions on a group setup? I'm a ret paladin
