If you give up, finish your stock.
If you run out, craft more.

Word of warning, this buff counts as a food buff, and will overwrite a "well fed" buff if you have one.

Part of the meta achievement "Hail to the Chef" in wrath of the lich king. Anyone wishing to gain the title "Chef <name>" in wotlk better start doing the fishing dailies!

cant gain the title until Fishfeast and 2 other are found in northend. You have plent of time to keep doing the daily at a shot of this until the next patch happy fishing!

oh and you need a max fishing skill of "1" to get a shot at getting it.

Also the goods can be bought in Ironforge (in the inn next to the Auction House the barmaid there sells em.

also so those who are exalted there and dont wanna bother with outlands anymore have fun!

As far as I can tell, there are only two places in Northrend to get the ingredients for this drink: Sarah Brady in the Dalaran Underbelly, and Jason Goodhutch in Westguard Keep, Howling Fjord (Alliance only). As mentioned above, Kylene in the Lower City tavern also sells the ingredients, as do a number of barkeeps in the Old World.

Edit 2/2/09 14:25 - Added Jason Goodhutch as 2nd known Northrend vendor. But he's Alliance only, and not in a terribly convenient location.

Just incase people are woundering, you can also by the Skin of Dwarven Stout and the Flagon of Mead from Sarah Brady in the sewers. She sits up on some crates.

Oh my god, thanks! I would have never of thought to search for it in my Cooking list, I would have been wasting my time trying to get it for ages. Does it really just make you learn it automatically or is it possible a bunch of people (including me) just learnt it manually without noticing.

I just recieved the recepie for this off the Daily Fishing, I've never seen it before.
The good news is every unit crafted actually makes 5 of these
(Meaning for every 1x Skin of Dwarven Stout, 1x Flagon of Mead you get 5x Captain Rumsey's Lager

Drunk fishing just got more interesting.

This recipe is obtained in the "Bag of Treasure" received from completing the daily fishing quest.

The fishing quest bag of treasure always contains multiple items, this is one of the many items you may receive.
