Is this consumed when you use it?

EDIT: Nevermind, looks like it is the same item that you get to do the quest the first time, so it must be consumed, thus requiring a visit to the NPC every time you do Heroic Sethekk Halls..

It is not consumed when you use it. However you do hand it in when you complete the Swift Flight Form. Directly after handing in you can grab a new quest https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/quest=11011 which simply gives you a new moonstone to use when ever you want to summon Anzu

Got this one from the Shattered Hand daily quest Sunfury Attack Plans, so from now on, you dont need a Druid in your pary to summon Anzu.

Is there a casting time on this? I ran this the other day for my epic FF with another druid who had the same quest. He did this part to summon Anzu and I didn't get credit for it. Didn't realize I hadn't until I left the instance. Is it an insta-cast? Can I run in there and do a suicide mission?

Anyone have a clue whether druids can still obtain this item? Theoretically I find it unlikely, as the quest no longer exists and epic flying is taught rather than earned. Anyone know for sure?

I'm kinda glad this item is still in the game. i'm a druid working on this quest and a huge mount freak. I will definately be working on farming the mount using this item, which at lvl 80 is real easy to get, just a ton of flying to different places.

Btw, if you are a complete noob and accidently sold/deleted the stone, you can got to talk to Morthis Whisperwind at the Cenarion area in Zangarmarsh, pick up his quest, turn it in again, and viola. You will have your Essence Infuse Moonstone once again.

hey m8s, i take the q in darnassus. went to zangarmarsh and turn it in but i didnt got the moonstone to sum ANZU, what should i do?

If you can't find th item, it might be inside Morthis' Materials you receive from Morthis.

that moonstone is kept in your keyring when you get it from the very final quest. i thought i was missing it because it was not in my inv. lol...

Does this thing have charges or disappear when you hand in the quest? So you can't summon Anzu after you got swift flight form?

Once you have your swift flight form, you can do the quest Eternal Vigilance which will give one of these moonstones (in your keyring) to use as many times as you want.
