From a warriors perspective, these shoulders are by far better than alot of the blues designed for us.
I will use these far into 70. o/

It's a shame they look like shit, though, like the ones on Stormwind City Guards.

shhh... let's keep these our little secret. Don't be afraid to put an exalted shoulder enchant on these, fellow Alliance warriors. You won't find an equivalent until:

1) you defeat Maulgar

2) PvP/arena shoulders

3) farm Heroic Underbog for Doomplate (more like a sidegrade, honestly)

I just regret the poor graphics this shoulder has, but indeed is far more better than a lot of blues here, and if you think, is even better then the purple gladiators shoulders (arena gear), if you´re a attack power fan, because even if you put 2 red +8 and +10 strength gems (one unique pvp reward gem) losing the +3 resilience bonus, you will get only 34 strength, but this green shoulders still gives you +2 strength (36)!!!!

These are obscenely good for a green. As has been said, don't be afraid to use an exalted shoulder enchant on them--they're better than most of what you'll run into until you get the Tier 4 epic shoulders. Also, if you're DW fury specced and you already have a ton of attack power and significant crit but are lacking in HP and/or hit, you may want to consider https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=30275 since they're easy to get.

All in all, when it comes to DPS, these shoulders are hard to beat.

The shoulders are fantastic, it's a pity they look so...bad. I can stop running Black Morass for the Wrath lookalike shoulders now though

Patch 2.2. gave these the huge nerf we all feared. Now just an average set of shoulders.

These shoulders are hard to beat for damage output. Compare to doomplate. You lose 17 str and 1 crit for 16 res and a red and yellow socket + 140 Armor. I guess Im trying to allude to the fact that for a green quest item these things are hard to replace... in fact.. I havent yet. These really are a blue item IMO. Losing 34 AP is hard to bear ... you can make it up partially with the gems but only up to 24 AP. Im shooting for the gladiators shoulders, as those are going to be the only shoulders that really make a diff.

this are the best dps shoulders before Kara.
Get them enchanted and they just perfect!
Don't get confused by its green quality, they better than most of that blues out there.

These are great shoulders for a fury warrior! the Pauldrons of the Crimson Flight shoulders are better suited for an arms warrior. the 20 crit strike (30 if u inscribe it with Vengeance) trumps the minimal increase in stats for the Crimsons. if your a fury warrior i HIGHLY reccomend u keep these until u have maybe Spaulders of Slaughter which drop off Porung in heroic Shattered Halls. If u are aldor and have reached exalted get hte Vengeance Inscription and enchant them. DPS will not fail u.
