Got it in Kara my second time while we were clearing to the huntsmen, I was the only person in the raid with nature damage so it was mine. Fun for PVP where wrath bombs are very useful. Not so great for raiding.

Questionably for balance druid (hurricane, insects, wrath) and very much for elemental shaman (lightning and earth shocks)

Got mine last night while clearing to the Shade of Aran/Chess Event. Can't remember what it dropped off of (Master looter was not me), but awesome spell dmg ring for Shamies like me!

I just saw this ring on someone today. The +damage was only 33, instead of the 43 shown here. Either it was it nerfed, or it is going to be improved to match this.

This dropped from the ballroom before Moroes. No shammies or balance druids in the group, so I won a roll against 2 other druids... I rolled a 100...woot!

This actually has a good chance to drop each week if you run Karazhan weekly. It's a random mob drop, and my guild has seen this ring literally every week from both clearing to Moroes and to Shade of Aran, so don't be discouraged if you lose a roll the first time as you will probably see it again soon. If no one needs it, it means free void crystals.

This ring is such horribly common drop that it has been foisted upon every druid and shaman in my guild regardless of spec, and we are many.

It is a decent ring for both balance druids and elemental shamans. Personally my resto druid uses it for balance soloing gear.

Not that common as I've been exalted with violet eye for months and never seen it drop. Best T4 level ring available for Elemental Shaman.

I have a 70 rogue and 70 elemental shammy, first saw this ring drop....you guessed it, when running Kara with my rogue, i looked it up saw the tiny drop rate, and resigned myself to probably never seeing it again. Especially since my guild Purple Nurples is not big enough to farm Kara alone.

So last night i am about to logoff, and see spamming for DPS for Kara, so i think, they probably only want a mage, but something made me whisper anyways. Bing! Invite.

So im in the raid with my shammy and we're heading towards Shade, and when pulling from the big circular room at the top of the wind back ramp, BINGO this ring drops. I just about came out of my chair, NEVER thought i'd see it again. Man was i a happy shammy.

Running Kara this week. Everything that dropped was either Paladin plate or priest healing cloth. Was starting to think i wouldnt get any upgrades this week and then this ring dropped. I was really happy. Only nature damage on-spec in the group so i didnt even have to roll for it :). Definetley the best elemental shaman ring in this stage of the game.

ive done kara probably 30 times or more, and last week we went back and i saw this drop for the first time. i was on my alt shammy, so i was happy

Note that this has been "nerfed" for 3.0 / WotLK. This has dropped from 43 nature damage, to 35 generic spell power, without increased crit or int.

Considering this was previously one of the best elemental shaman rings in the game, I'm not sure why my comment was rated down. For the "target user" (ele shaman, maybe even boomkin but not so much) it was nerfed.

This ring is good for anyone who uses spell power as it is just a spellpower ring since the last patch.

Interesting, a BoP item off trash mobs. These are rare, but seems to be increasing in trend.

Looks like a ring thats tailored specifically for elemental shammies.

good for pvp where i use wrath and dots the most but basicaly useless for me in instances where i use starfire spam and get highest dps :P

for me atleast its pvp if a shammy wants it let em take it

shammy>druid> all classes for the crit

dropped for me as i was tanking in karazhan off of trash right before the midnight encounter. i was the only druid and there were no shammies. this has wrath spam written all over it - but it could use a buff IMO. =P

Dropped for us in Karazhan, second try in the stables, one of the sceletal horses dropped it. Rolled against a druud and won luckily. Im very fond of them, tho for dmg only - but no ring beats this for an elem shammy.

2 dropped for us tonight within 10 minutes, both from phantom guests. I got the first one while a druid picked up the second, shame they're unique :P.

Guild's first run of Karazahn earlier tonight, and it dropped. I was the only Druid there, so.../cheer!

Very nice. While less mana/dmg efficient, and therefore more aggro generating over time, along with the Wrath +dmg Idol, and enough Balance gear for +650 Spell Damage, my Wrath is now awesome. =]

Erm. Really why is this epic? Could use a buff :| Im sure there is way way way better blue rings out there that adds dmg to all spells rofl..

+45 nature dmg, and mabye add a little regen imo would balance it fine..

Fell of Arcane protector that pats on the ramp, that is right before the shades (after the million quest givers)

Picked it up as a Shaman. Will be very nice for elemental gear, as it would work very well with lightning attacks and earth shock.

Taking into account that in raids the main source of DPS of a BOOMKIN is wrath and the 2 dots we have this ring is really good. this is simply a very good raiding ring for a balance druid. i got it and started critting with my wrath for 3.5k when in the past it crited fro 3.3-3.2k

best ring for shaman, too bad can't duel wield :( we had 2 drops in about 5 min in kara. guild was going to give me both only if i could wear them.

I'm a boomkin,
and I use both Ring of Unrelenting Storms & Violet Signet of the Archmage.
yeah you can argue that the unrelenting storms drops your overall spell dmg, but if you were to actually think about it, you only ever use starfire after a wrath crit whilst spamming, as it cuts the cast time down to 3 secs with nature's grace. If you couple it with Idol of the Avenger you've got some killer wrath dmg, and it's overall much more effective than a flat +SD ring imo. (for progression to that stage in raiding anyway).
Hell, I wish I could equip two of them.
