Both this ring and the Scyrer belt (https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=30372) are fantastic for cat druids... if you want to put the time in to it,it is possible to do the Aldor chain, get the ring, and then turn in Basilisk Eyes to defect to Scryer... you can then do the Scryer version of the chain and get the belt as well.

I couldnt find any solid information on the Blizzard forums that this was possible, so I decided to try it... it works just fine (other than being probably too much work), so figured I would post it here for confirmation.

Very nice for feral druids and fury warriors (or MS warriors lacking the +5% crit). Nice quest reward for sure.

Feral druid, rogue and warrior, its good for all three and perhaps enhancment shaman to a lesser extent
