This item is nerfed on the 2.0.10 test realm, down to 24 stamina (from 42).
An expected nerf I would say.

Now that these are 24 stamina, is there any significant reason I would prefer them to https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=28167 ?

These have
73 less armor
1 less defense
3 more stamina (assuming you take socket bonus on Sha'tari bracers)
11 more hit rating
1 less socket

Now, yes, the hit rating is nice, but there doesn't seem to be a compelling reason to switch anymore when I could put a nice gem in the others?

Just a note for the tankadins out there.
Thadell's Bracers (https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=30400).
May be a better option.

Probably the best tanking bracers for a leveling DK, as many will skip to northrend before doing the quest for Sha'tari Wrought Armguards.

Replaceable by the BoE blacksmithing Cobalt Bracers at 70, as well.

Seems that 42 was a typo and it should have been 24. Pfft, I want my Sha'tari Wrougth Armguards back then when they nerf these.

An amazing example of a green item that outdoes many blues. The Vambraces of Daring are really the only comparable item, and partially a sidegrade at that. Any warriors or paladins, when you get these, keep them.

thos are the best tank wrist in game now. whit teh nerf to Bracers of the Green Fortress. thos have the most stamina.42 -38 of the Bracers of the Green Fortress. and they much easy to get

As of patch 2.0.10 they will be nerfed to 24 Stamina instead of 42. Sad day indeed.

I would still take the Bracers of the Green fortress over these...

yeah they might have 3 more sta... but BogF have +150armor +10str +6defense rating. (and the mats are Sooo easy to get)
