I prefer this to any wand that drops in heroics, or in karazhan. Preliminary browsing of 2.4 items doesn't change this.

I picked this up, even though I was planning to spec shadow at the time. Now that my priest is holy, I'm glad I made that decision then.

Im gearing my priest out for Kara healing, and i havn't a good healing wand compared to this around, https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=27885 is another good choice and reasonable but not as easy to obtain as this. You loose out of a few stats but overall i prefer this one over the blue one.

Soul-Wand of the Aldor doesn't have as much +heal, but you need stats too...I wouldn't give up the stam, int and spirit for 9 +heal and a few /5.

I seriously think this is the best healing wand for a raid priest untill Luminescent Rod of the Naaru. Stats like stam, Int doesnt make up for the mana/5, which you really need.

To make up for the mana/5 with spirit you will need like 30 spirit on the wand.

1.4 speed is also a nice speed, if you need mana back from wanding.

All I can say is, I love this wand!
