This ring is probably one of the worst investments of 25 Badges of Justice. There are at least 4 rings out there that are much easier to get, and have better overall stats. It's sad that Blizzard would in all seriousness consider this ring to be epic in nature, when in reality it barely rivals other Rare quality items.

Seems this ring will get buffed in the next patch (2.1.0).

+1 stam, +1 int, +1 spellcrit and +2 spelldamage. Should be more of an upgrade from blues then.

Well it is considerably easier to get this ring now with heroic dailies and badges from Kara. Yes, the Ring of Recurrence is a little better, but if you are running Kara every week and can't seem to win that drop from Chess, this is a good stand-in and it only costs about one Kara clear to get it. And yeah, those badges could be saved up and used for other stuff, but this is the best ring to go with the violet signet until the Chess ring drops if you are a crit-based caster class and getting it will help you farm badges for those other things you want anyway.

Well, if you have https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=29286 and https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=29126 pair you don't even need to look at this one. 25 badges is way too expensive for such a ring, and if you are raiding Karazhan, your first ring will be the Violet Signet right from the start long before earning those 25 badges.

Comparable to Ashyen's Gift, but this has 1 less damage/healing and spell hit instead of crit. Feels more like a pve ring compared to ashyen's gift.

Scintillating Coral Band (68 blue) from Steamvaults is almost identical. Only difference is 2 spell crit rating.

Guildie got this and i about smacked his ass. Theres a ring from chess match in karazhan better than this. 19 spell crit rating does not equal 2% spell crit also.

gettin buffed in 2.1 so YES it will be worth 25 badges, than again what else to spend them on? save dkp for something else

this is kind of silly considering how many good rings are out there for casters (at least 3 just from kara)
