This is the Exalted version of the Scale of the Sands physical dps ring.

Currently the only reputation gained from Friendly to Exalted is through killing bosses in Hyjal Summit, but in a future patch (2.2), there will be reputation awarded for killing trash.

This item along with all the other exalted rings have a 45sec hidden cooldown on their proc from the buff fades, 55 second after the proc happens.
This equals an average of 26,7 extra attackpower.

The ring procs almost every 60s consistently.
Your Hunter turns red (like Beastial Wrath) and you get a buff icon like Quick Shots (https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/spell=35081).

If you check the itemlevel (152) and the stats of the ring, you can say that the physical dps variant of the reputation reward ring is the worst, and maybe the healer is the best.
Why?
Tons of stamina (who cares, at the T6 content you get enough from other slots), moderate agility, and rather weak AP with a chance on hit boost (every 60 sec bah)... I will only use it 'till can get the ZA timed loot ring (or its equivalent, the 2.4 badge reward stuff).
Shame.

Where is the quest giver located? Is it in the instance of hyjal summit or outside?

Keep in mind you cannot get this ring if you have not slain Lady Vashj in the Serpentshrine Cavern and Kael'Thas in Tempest Keep. Their vials are required for the quest "Vials of Eternity" which is a pre-requisite to this quest.

For a rogue, this really isn't all that.

Angelista's Revenge and its near twin Signet of Primal Wrath are both better than this, and are more easily attainable.

And assuming that an Exalted SotS guild is comparably awesome in BT, Stormrage Signet Ring is of course your number one choice for a ring slot.

While no one has said so yet, I can confirm for the hunters out there that this appears to proc off of ranged attacks as well as melee attacks. (Leveling a new pet so keeping an eye on my logs)

A very rare "on Hit" that's isn't just melee hit.

So, I just got revered yesterday with SotS, which means I should be able to get the revered ring, but I guess you can only get it if you've done the MH preq.

This ring should not be ignored as an fine druid tank ring.

Personally I see some uses for it, such as part of my fire resistiens gear together whit badge ring. Armor dosent matter in resistiens figth, so if stats are good go for it :)

I just swapped over from Band of the Eternal Restorer since I plan on lvling feral for wrath and have not noticed the proc on this since using it. Not sure if that has anything to do with using Shattered Sun Pendant of Might and Hourglass of the Unraveller in addition to my Idol of Terror - too many procs at once?

Other than not seeing the proc, the stats are well alone worth it imo.

It has a ton of stamina, which is considerably important for black temple. Still seems a bit tame compaired to the other rep ring rewards to be honest.

Curious if this will work in Druids cat form, in the past this wasn't the case but seems werid if it isn't a chance to proc over time, whist in melee. Otherwise none of these rings are suitable for feral druids except the tank one, which the chance to block is wasted!

This is the exalted version of a rep reward for Hyjal Summit that starts small and gets increasingly bad ass as your rep improves, like the Violet Signet from Kara.

the Chance on hit on this ring is like having crusader on your weapon, which is tight, especially if you already got mongoose or something on your weapon, not to mention what ever dps trinket you might have.

Finaly got this last night and its the bees knees .
Off we went to BT and what fun when it procs with
Tsunami Talismanand Ashtongue Talisman of Swiftness

It procs quite often and when all 3 go off which is not that rare tbh watch the dps fly.

Had Beastial wrath and freciuos Inspiration plus these 3 proc along with having flask up last night on serveral occasions.

All I can say is get ths ring at all costs its a beauty.

Finally got exalted with scale of the sands and got this ring :p As a hunter it's hard to tell when it has procced because the icon is the same as improved aspect of the hawk... I only know it has procced when I see the icon twice.

The high stam on the physical DPS ring makes this an excellent Warrior Tank Threat ring provided you're already hit capped.
