Fishing drop rate seems to be a bit higher in Netherstorm from personal experience. Can't really trust the wowhead results, because about half of those casts were near pure water. The crocodiles can be a bit annoying in the eco-dome lake, the fish don't bite well (changed in next patch though), and for those stationed in Shattrath it's a bit further away. I'd say don't bother with Netherstorm and fish in Nagrand.

Don't bother trying to fish near Stormspire, no fish there.

what skill lvl fishing does this require

I catch a ton of these in the lake on the Elemental Plateau in Nagrand. I just hit 360 fishing and now I can cast without a lure. Can't catch anything, but I can cast. Seems you need to be about 470-475 to catch consistantly. I always use a fish attractor.

In 9 minutes at 405 fishing skill w/ fishing equipment; I managed to catch 8 fish. (47,48)

Same skill and unable to fish in the lake at (34,50). So don't forget your lures :o).

My drop rate was fairly consistent with the Thottbot value.

Nagrand 74,84 No gunk but need flymount.
Skill 466.(346+Seth's Graphite Fishing Pole+Aquadynamic Fish Attractor)
I catch during 10 min: 14xBarbed Gill Trout,12xIcefin Bluefish, 9xFigluster's Mudfish.
Also rise my skill up to 349 :)

My fishing level is 375, have +25 fishing pole and I use Bright Baubles because Fish Attractors are a limited item, and I dont have an engineer that can make em. My catch rate is about 75% at 475 skill level. I fish at the lake below Sunspring Post in Nagrand and I have gotten afew stacks of these fish while fishing for Icefin Bluefish. If you are not at 375 and dont have a good pole or lures, dont even bother trying to fish at that lake, or you will become very frustrated.

I just fish the shcools of mudfish. you have almost 100% catch rate that way.
