It is a good chest plate, especially considering its a quest reward, BUT, something like Jade-skull breastplate is alot better overall.... More stam, more DEF, 35 str.

But until you're lucky enough to get that to drop, this is the best one you can get.

Wouldn't https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=28203#comments be better for a Proc Pally? This seems more geared to Warriors. Socket a few gems in Breastplate of the Righteous and you might be able to pass this up

Not hard with a party, getting the keys was not hard - they burn down easy (warlock x 2, shammy, rogue, hunter, warrior). I dont think we did any heals on anyone during the fight - pets doing the tanking and everyone on max dps.

While I wish this had some str on it, where else can you get +30hit at this level? Was able to get rid of my tank chest and fury chest and just use this for both. Guild enchanter put +150hp on it to round it out.

If you're a warlock, you don't need a party. Just enslave an elite felguard in the camp, by one of the cannons, and that's it.

Owned this quest with 69 pally and me 70 prot warrior with blues/greens was pretty long since there was not much dps but we manage to kill it.
