Currently there are a few +spell damage craftables in the tailor profession in Burning Crusade. This is just a short write-up of what is currently known about these.

Chest: Netherweave Tunic, green. +46 damage, +45 STAM.

Legs: Imbued Netherweave, blue. +30 damage, +10 MP/5, +39 STAM, +26 INT.

Waist: Girdle of Ruination, purple. +30 damage, +26 spellcrit, red and yellow socket, +4 STAM socket bonus.
or
Waist: Netherweave belt, green. +26 damage, +30 STAM.

Back: Cloak of the Black Void, blue. +35 damage, +11 INT.

Wrist: Bracers of Havok, blue. +30 damage, +12 INT, yellow socket, +2 spell crit socket bonus.

Feet: Imbued Netherweave Boots, blue. +23 damage, +30 STAM, +21 INT, +8 MP/5

Hands: Netherweave Gloves, green. +28 damage, +30 STAM.

In addition, tailors can now make armor-kit type enchants for items, that either add +27 dam or +51 heal and +18 STAM. These items are epic and need quite a few ingredients.

So, in total a tailor can equip himself in a mix of greens/blues and maybe an epic or 2 and receive:

+310 spell damage
+28 spell crit rating
+70 INT
+144 STAM
+3 sockets
+18 MP/5

The green Netherweave contains only +stam and +dam, so it's better for locks than for the other caster classes. Netherweave is a 8 piece set with 2 chest pieces, os it's actually only 7 pieces.
Imbued Netherweave is a 4 piece set-up and is more or less and upgrade of Netherweave, since it contains a bit less stam and dam, but has int. As such it's a much better optoin for non-locks.

Leaving head, shoulder, trinket, jewelry and weapon slots open for more +damage. Also include gems and chants and you are looking at an easy +500-600 spell damage if you fill out the rest of your slots with damage gear.

Now, a lot of these items will be easily replaceable by loots from bosses in the new instances, so I personally wouldn't level tailoring to gear myself. But htat's hte case of all professions in WOW. You are much better off leaving the hard work to others and just buy what you need from crafters.

If you can get the quick quest chain in Shadow Labs there are bracers that are equally as good, if not better.

IF you didn't get this recipie or don't know anyone who has it, then the shattrath wraps may be for you. This way you aren't wasting time grinding for a recipie - you can just continue running instances and pick up a comparable item through questing without missing a beat.

These bracers are no longer worth crafting due to the cost of Primal Shadows. The comments above me were made before patch 2.1, in which a large number of mobs had Motes of Shadow removed from their drop tables.

I've been told by a few Priests on my server that these are one of the best bracers pre-kara. One buyer even said they were better than anything in Kara. You be the judge I guess.

No, there is no better quest reward in the game than these bracers. In fact, you'd be hard pressed to find anything better at all as a shadow priest since these have the potential to be the highest spelldamage bracers in the game (pre 2.4).

Absolutely amazing bracers for a shadow priest or an affliction lock.

Quite simple to make considering the quality. Probably a better quest reward out there, but when isn't there :)

these are some sick bracers. Great damage and a socket? Yes please. These are definately worthy of the 15 spell damage to bracers enchant.

For raiding this is the best bracer, since you have buffs and you are in the back lines. Anyway, if you are hit by a trash (eg in Karazhan or Gruul's Lair), mostly you are one-shotted, so there's no real use for a bracer that gives you 39 sta (see: Unyielding Bracers ), but no spell-dmg. However, Shattrath Bracers is a good choice, it gives you a moderate amount of stats and spell-dmg.

Are you speaking of Gruul's Shatter? Normally (afaik) it doesn't hit over 5k, however, if you shatter each other, the problem is not with your hp, but your guild's tactic and members. No offence.

Anyway, everyone should find a good compromise between stats and spell-dmg, not sacrficing too much either.

Screw Stamina. If you want Stamina, go with Shattrath Bracers or the ones off Maiden. There are fights where you're going to unavoidably take multiple thousands of damage, and it'll pay to have 9k life. But the fights where you're not going to take any damage unless you screw up you're fine with your base 5k or whatever.

38 damage and 6 crit with a Potent Noble Topaz. MUCH better than Maiden's (28) or Shattrath with a +9 dmg gem (29). Finally have a replacement for Bracers of Arcane Accuracy on bosses and gives me a little more room under the spell hit cap.

these dropped for me in Shadow Labs or Shattered Halls, dont remember. I had no clue how much they were worth. First time I made one and sold it for 70g, it got sold two minutes later. Second I put them up for 110g, sold. Then they stopped selling for some reason. But nevertheless, these are good bracers. and Im the only person in Sentinel Server on the Horde side that can make em.

Just to confirm - these are a random world drop. Got mine in Terokkar, from a skettis while questing. Awesome bracers for +dmg, esp with a gem. Worth looking for them on AH or finding someone with the recipe. Good luck!
