If one runs through all of the starting zones for the Alliance, one can pretty fully gear a character with quest rewards, even if each zone on it's own wouldn't. Here is the collection for Alliance clothies:

Chest: Weathered Cloth Armor (Draenei) or Woodland Robes (Night Elf)

Wrist: Stemleaf Bracers (Night Elf)

Hands: Outfitter Gloves (Human) or Viny Gloves (Night Elf) or Rabbit Handler Gloves (Dwarf/Gnome)

Waist: None. I believe it to be an oversight and hoped that there would be a cloth belt rewarded in the Draenei zone, but was disappointed. Go buy one from a vendor.

Legs: Tapered Pants (Human) or Sedgeweed Britches (Night Elf) or Dwarven Cloth Breeches (Dwarf/Gnome) or Hand Sewn Pants (Draenei). I guess they really wanted people to have pants.

Feet: Soft Fur-lined Shoes (Human) or Snow Boots (Dwarf/Gnome) or Worn Slippers (Draenei) (the only slot Night Elves do not get filled)

If you're not cloth only or Horde, you don't get these. These rewards have the same stats as cloth armor available from vendors in your starting area, so save yourself some money, gain some experience, and rack up quests for Loremaster by doing each of your faction's starting quests!
