The comment "This thing has quite a kick though..." is referring to the fact it will knock you down on use, so don't use it if you are surrounded by people/mobs and need to make a fast escape.

I just made one on my rogue and here's the basic information:
5-second cast. 45-yard range. You ARE able to gouge and use it (I have improved gouge atm).

The "quite a kick though..." is you fall down, wasting about 2 seconds of the 3 second stun it creates.
It deals fire damage... As of 1/30/07 using it on players DOES NOT put you in combat (i.e. hide behind a tree and use it and then stealth). The +45 stamina is there, and in my opinion this trinket was completely worth it, not only because it's good, but because its hilarious to whip out a rocket launcher out of nowhere (it's visible while you're using it).

Not usable in Druid forms (i.e. Bear form or Cat form). Did not try moonkin since I'm feral.

Also, the range didn't impress me.

Bottom line: It's a toy trinket, that is useful for its 45 stamina.

I am a mage and i am totally i love with this trinket... while instancing its a great distraction/stun (not to mention free spell, can trigger CLEARCASTS XD) simply because it causes no aggro..... during the black morass i would use on a dragon and after it snapped out of stun it would go for the hunter's pet (which was passive) and not me XD... the 45 stam is godly especially for a mage its nice having 6k life ^.^...

Lastly those who think 5 sec cast, and if interrupted it cancels isn't worth it listen to this.... i got a 3k crit with it on a troll hunter... poor thing never saw it coming.. stun kinda added insult to injury

This is a fun little sniping tool. It's just so much fun to drop 2-4 Seeds of corruption https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/spell=27243 on a group of bottlenecked people in AV (usually i attack from above) -- then fire this bad boy down on one of them... watch the chain reaction go.

It's like watching Alterac Valley produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. Add in some UA if you have an affliction lock around or some Shadowfury/Rain of Fire

I'd probably say that this item, and in fact the whole of goblin engineering isn't very useful to a rogue. This is because nearly everything you can make needs to be used out of combat, and as you'll want to start the fight in stealth, well, you get the idea. Plus the 2 end items suck for rogues, and you can't even use the Goblin mining helmet. So overall, goblin engineering isn't all that useful to them. The gnomish equivalent to this item, the poltryfier, is however, as it adds some good crowd control to your arsenal, plus it's instant cast.

5 minute cooldown on this, so yes, arena friendly! If you take any damage whatsoever while casting it completely breaks casting and you have to start over though.

Excellent for my Protection Paladin for long pulls (45 yards!) and the huge amount of stamina makes it one of the better "tanking" trinkets around. As a PVP trinket it has it's uses (again, lots of stamina) and the long range and stun make it fun to play around with.

Very useful as is, if you've stuck around with Engineer this long no reason to not invest in the real prize of Goblin Engineering.

Can someone verify that this does not cause threat (the dmg)? Sure you can pull with it, but as a tank, I was thinking of using this to pull once in a while to get a nice jump start on threat, but not if the damage isn't counted.

Just made this a few days ago and the cast time and cool down is 3 secs, 2 minutes. It is a blast to use on horde who trap me and back up a little bit because im a pally then whip this out!

It usually does about 1200 fire damage with crits above 2500 and the extra 45 stamina is great to have.

I have tried using it on players on flying mounts but they are immune

Hunters may find it of interest to know that this will share your max range, and as an added benefit this baby has no deadzone.

It's basically an aimed shot with no mana cost and no deadzone. Consider the second knockdown as comparable to aimed shot resetting your shot timer.

The range on this is nice, I can confirm it reaches farther than Deadly Throw for a rogue. If you time it right, it's a great way to catch runners especially in PvP. Watching your opponent get blasted by a rocket right when he thinks he's escaped is priceless.

It procs clearcasting.
And the rocket itself doesn't fly directly to the target (like magical bolts and such), it actually hovers above the ground, so using it on a target behind a mountian makes it amusing. :o

The knockback effect will apply once you use it, but your target will be stunned once the rocket reaches it, so using the rocket launcher from maximum range is gg.
It can't hit players on a flying mount as well.
Direct (and not absorbed) damage will cancel the cast.

Might be nice to remember that the "kick" drops you to the ground, but the "stun" itself isn't a proper stun, it doesn't have any associated debuff. You do lose those 2 seconds, but it's not registered in your buff/debuff list.

Having random people screaming "Where the heck did you take that from?!" is worth the item's price all by itself :D

This trinket is excellent for tanks, 45 stam is great but the bonus is that you get around 1k threat from the damage when pulling, and it has a 45 yard range.

I LOVE it. As a rogue you will find yourself "sometimes" rooted by a frostnova.
I wish so hard to see the face of the Mage after he blinked away and sees that Rocketlauncher aiming at him.. if he sees it comming after all.

Works in arena and dude, it kicks some major arse there :)

Couple of observations:

- It does seem to benefit somewhat from spell power
- It also seems to benefit from +Damage% buffs, like "Strength of Halaa"
- It can be resisted
- It can crit (i've had hits of over 2000)
- You can fire it at people on their mounts in the air, but it doesn't always make it to them. They have to fly by a building or something for it to "crawl" up to them. I've tried it a few times with really mixed results.
- If you get hit while casting, you loose the whole casting (not just spell knockback) but it does not put the trinket on cooldown.
- You can start casting while a mob is in range, and you can still continue casting even if they walk out of range

i am a 70 rogue just made this baby a few days ago. I have tested it in many duels now when the oppenement is sitting down(normally makes 100% crit) and on critters but it has not critted yet so I think the crit chance is the same as spell crit so rogues cant crit 'cos they got no spell crit chance.

Personally I've had this used against me in arena's.

So you can use this in arenas, and after seeing it work on me, it's very effective.

It was in a 2v2 arena match (only one it could probably be good in), they CCed me and shot me, then killed me.

The few seconds of added stun, the stamina, and the long range use of this makes it great for 2v2 Arena.

As mentioned earlier, this is excellent for tanks. On my prot warrior I picked up engineering for the tankatronic goggles, this was a nice side benefit that I decided to make mainly for the +45 sta bonus.

The 45 yd range is nice as it allows far longer pulls than my normal ranged weapon would (and unless I'm very much mistaken this would be brilliant as a pulling tool for pally tanks). However what I've found even more useful particularly when tanking in 5 mans is the stun effect this applies to its target. I normally use it on the last non-CC target in a pack of enemies in the assumed kill order. The affected mob will stay in place for a few seconds while the rest of the pack runs towards me, giving me 1 less enemy to worry about initially. By the time the stunned mob has reached me, I normally have solid aggro on the rest of the targets, and often it'll actually allow me to wait for my Shield Slam cooldown to stick that mob to me.

Ofcourse a lot depends on playstyle, but for myself this manner of pulling a group gives me a serious edge when I have to keep multiple mobs away from the healer & DPS. Also, there are very few mobs that are not affected by the stun - those that are will normally be single pulls.

if I may add my 2 cents...

rocket launcher IS indeed affected by the frost mage talent "shatter". and, that said, there is enough time from casting frost nova, launching rocket launcher (It will crit AND leave ice intact), and then getting up off your ass in time to finish up with an ice lance right before the debuff on frost nova is up, which is REALLY nice for PvE.

PVP...best combo...as a frost mage...sheep target...summon elem...charge rocket launcher, use the elemental's "freeze" attack, (his ranged frost nova), and use it right before you launch. it will crit the target, stun them (Stun CAN be resisted by talents ), and then leave the ice intact. After that, you can risk charging a frostbolt for a frostbolt/ice lance combo, or, if you want to make sure they dont get out of the ice, just ice lance em (Many classes have ways of getting out of ice and/or interrupting your cast.).

using the above method, it IS possible to obtain constant 2-3k crits...and, if you have the outland buffs for 5% damage bonus (i.e. the halaa possession, the twin spires buff, the spirit towers, etc.), you can crit for 3.1k sometimes. (My highest crit was a 3.4k crit, however, I forget what other buffs i had on me at the time.)

an excellent out of arena combination team is to have a rogue friend (Also a gob engineer with rocket launcher), go in, cheap shot the selected target, which is your signal as a frost mage (Or, well, if you are just going in for the rocket launch, regular, then other classes too, but you can have this method get a crit as a frost mage.) As soon as he cheap shots, that is your signal to start charging rocket launcher, and then he backs up, throws a frost grenade....BOOM....2-3k crit, 3 second stun, AND...as soon as he throws his grenade, he starts charging HIS launcher...double 3 second stun...lots of damage....yeah, pretty nice effect.

With a lot of work and help from friends I managed to craft this baby on my 61 pally !

It's very helpful for ret-spec as well because the stun it inflicts gives you just enough time to judge Seal of Command while they are under the stun effect. Basically making it somewhat of a second repentance if you manage to fire it off at a close enough range. ( 10 yards or so )

This is not useful for a DPS PvE player.
The damage is not so high keeping into account that it has a 3 seconds casting time.
If you are a hunter, it is only useful while farming or at first shoot, because the rocket generates a low aggro on you and the mob continues to attack the pet.

In PvE it is great just for a tank to pull a mob. by the way 45 stamina is another excellent stat for a tank.

It's fire damage, so don't use it against mobs immune to fire!

I have this on my shaman and it doesn't proc clearcasting for me. I believe it only works on the mage version of clearcasting. Shaman version specifies critting with a fire, frost or nature spell, while mage version is 10% chance of any spell cast. The rocket does fire damage but may be a "Physical" cast.

Also, I found that if you use the rocket on a mob that is immune to fire you will not stun yourself.

I went gnome and I am regretting it a little. The net is handy but anyone can get that, and the death ray hits too low too often. An average of 700-950 (out of a possible 3000-3500 Ish).

Is it possible to switch from gnome to goblin engineering? I don't think there is a 150G fee like other profs (lame!), but is it possible to drop engineering, get it back up, and be able to spec to goblin the 2nd time around?

Just got mine put together, and I've discovered something absurd. I saw the comment here about this becoming a regular cast (not broken by damage) on the 2.4 PTR, and decided to test whether this had gone live. Got into a fight with a Terokkar spider, and set off the trinket. I can verify that being hit did not cancel it.

However, charging the rocket also didn't interrupt my weapon swings! I was waving the rocket launcher around instead of my polearm, but at my regular swing speed and damage. And after 3.5 seconds, the rocket fired.

I tried this again in case it was some sort of weird interface lag, and verified it in the combat log. This is probably a bug and may very well be fixed in tonight's maintenance, but if not...

Something to mention that with 2.4 this has become almost effectively useless for pulling any any instance beyond a nonheroic 5 man. They chanegd it into a binary effect - when a mob is immune to the stun, he's immune to the entire thing. Used to be he would take the damage and you'd get a big chunk of threat to pull with. Useless in anything I'm doing now.

The item will go into an engineering bag before being soulbound.

As a soulbound item, it can be carried in a regular bag slot like other trinkets*.

Although it requires engineering 350, it does not require you to keep an engineering bag with you at all times, but you should be anyway.

Its quite handy as a mage. The rocket launch will stack with your spell haste and fire damage**. The item is worth a laugh every 2 minutes.

I just finished making this on my 59 ret pally twink. There are a few very angry people right now. Very effective for catching runners, an odd stun due to the pally bubble, and one hilarious gank method. Also, the added 400+ health, totally beats out most other trinkets. Highly suggested for twinks if you have the gold to make this with.

Once used this in a arena match with my guildmate Danarith(holy priest) when we fought a Dwarf warrior and a BM Night Elf hunter. Near the end of the match the hunter was about to kill me, and i couldnt get to him cause of his frost trap/daze shots and we were both low on health. he got a distances away and i used the rocket, it cricted for over 2k and we won the match. I know that hunter was mad :P

If you're making a level 60 twink, engineering is the way to go. This rocket launcher, the Xtreme rocket boots, as well as the recipe engineering helmet are all level 70 blue quality items available to you at level 60 with 350 eng.

For druids, this work in both boomkin and tree form without turning you back into caster form. Trees get no animation, just a rocket flying outta their mouth after casting time. Boomkins on the other hand gets a nice big rocket while casting which simply looks terrifying.

i accuatly think the gnomish death ray is better cuz if i have readed right then you get fully interruptet when you get hitted( correct me if im mistaken) and you dont get self stunend by gnomish death ray but ofc it dont give sta accuatly it just take your hp but still you can cast this without getting interrupted.

Few things i've found out about this item. Or at least what i've read to be confirmed-n-such.
This item does fire damage and anything that helps you do additional fire damage ( Certain fire mage talents ) will add to the damage this thing does. Same thing with fire damage debuffs on enemies. This item shares a global cooldown with all bombs, I am not sure on how long it is though. Also this item does not put you into combat. You are able to be stealthed, use it, and go right back to stealth. Using this item requires you to target specific enemies instead of just random places like the Wintergrasp version of this. Not sure if this item shares a cool down with the Gnomish Lightening Generator. Their are no abilities that stop your ability to cast this, only being hit when casting will be able to stop it. As a last note, this item cannot break/blow up in your face like other goblin engineering items.

quite simply the main reason i took up engineering period. i'm a prot paladin so my ranged options are nill outside of avenger's shield. I haven't confirmed whether or not it's effected by talents/abilities that cause enhanced dmg output/crit chance, but i'll get back when I know for sure. This baby helps me put up a massive amount of boss agro and lets my group start off right from the start beating the bosses ass, instead of waiting for me to get agro. This+avenger's shield and I can put up at least 6k-7k threat right from the start. And yes, it can crit, and when it does it's a sweet, sweet thing. I've used it in BG's before, and while the 'casting' time sucks balls, if you aren't the target of anyone's attention and get this thing off, whatever it hits is sure to be pissed. It's nice being able to slap a fleeing rouge in the ass when he runs away. or better yet to hit a mage/hunter long before they can hit u. If i'm not mistaken, the range is at least 45 yrds, if not 50. I've stood in one place in a group and had fire mages/hunters stand next to me. They couldn't hit the mob with anything but i could with this baby.

Dinged my pally engineer 50 then leveled her engineering up to 350 just to get my hands on this sucker -

* I was able to equip and fire it at level 50 - you need a 350 engineering skill to equip this and the min level to get said skill is 50 so that makes 50 the default level.

* Its a trinket that gives +45 stamina

* Cool down is only 2 minutes

* Damage 960-1440

* Takes a second or two to fire and will knock you down for a second or two as well

I've seen a lot of claims about this thing having uber range, nailing people from across the zone or BG, etc - these claims are either false or the range has been nerfed - effective range is about that of a normal bow so do not expect to become the hero of WSG by nailing the enemy FC from across the zone and stunning him right before he escapes into his base, in fact, I rather suspect most FCs will be able to run out of range before you even manage to fire this.

Mats are an SOB and a half -

Hardened Adamantite Tube x2 = 6 hardened adamantite bars = 60 adamantite bars = 120 adamantite ore

Khorium Power Core x1 = 1 primal fire + 3 khorium bars (khorium bars = 2 khorium ore per bar)

Felsteel Stabilizer x2 = 4 Felsteel Bar = 8 Eternium Bar + 12 Fel Iron Bar (fel iron bar = 2 fel iron ore per bar)

Primal fire x6

Primal earth x6

Delicate Arcanite Converter x2 = 2 ironweb spider silk + 2 arcanite bars (arcanite bars = 1 thorium bar + 1 arcane crystal per bar)

Unless your mining isn't high enough to smelt the Hardened Adamantite yourself, then don't buy it off of the AH as its cheaper to make yourself (if your skill isn't high enough have a guildy knock it out for you).

The power core is one of the cheaper items and since there isn't much use for Khorium up till now, you should have enough.

You're going to need a total of 7 primal fires, most of which you should have had from mining, but many of which you'll have broken into motes to make into elemental blasting powder - hopefully you didn't burn all of 'em.

The 6 primal earths are probably the cheapest part of the whole thing and you should have plenty of those from your mining.

The arcanite bars are annoying - in two toons worth of mining I've gotten one arcane crystal to date. You'll need an alchemist to convert the crystal and thorium into an arcanite bar but fortunately it wont blow his CD so any guildy can do it for you with no loss to themself.

If you make this sucker as soon as your engineering hits 350 then you've got a chance at 6 skill ups - 2 from the tubes, 1 from the core, 2 from the stablizers and 1 from the final combine (it'll be red so you will get a skill up from making the weapon at 350) - I got 5 myself, so at least some of the cost can be written off by the skill points gained making the toy.

The cost given is fiction though -

120 adamantite x 1.5 = 180g
24 fel iron ore x .75g = 18g
7 primal fire x 30g = 210g
6 primal earth x 4g = 24g
2 arcanite bars x 25g = 50g
3 khorium bars x 10g = 30g
----------------------------
total cost = 512g

Ok so it actually states requires goblin engineering in the item tooltip but if you're a goblin engineer and drop engineering after binding it and relearn it to get gnomish could you still equip it or would it be useless. This thing is great in PvP imo. I have a 70 undead rogue and I use it quite often in BGs and World PvP. It's really fun having a high hitting ranged "weapon" on a melee class. I've gotten around 1500 regular hits with this against clothies and leather wearers, sap+this/blind+this=a great load of fun. Try it out. Makes for a laugh seeing an undead do an aimed shot haha.

Doing the Spirit Towers on my Warrior, facing another warrior... I get him down to half health.... he jumps down the tower to escape, taking his health to a quarter... he thinks he's escaped... BAM! Gets hit by my beautiful Goblin Rocket! Dies instantly, as it Crits! NICE!

5 min CD, 5 second casting time. Crappy if you ever want to use it for DPS or PvP. The only good thing is the novelty and the +45 stam. Hunters have no use for it cos' aimed shot is faster and probably does more damage.

You can get the recipe for this at your goblin engineer trainer in gadgetzan when you have 350 skill. Only downside about this item is that it costs a bundle.

These screenshots are taken on TBC beta. The launcher is visible during casting time. The kick just drops you on your ass for a second or so.

The trinket still has +45 STA on it, despite what someone else said.

ALSO, the schematic comes from the trainer in GADGETZAN.

OK, overall engineering in BC is weak as hell and I pray Blizz will patch in some better patterns for those of us that ponied up the time and gold to level engineering. But with that said, I assembled this bad boy today and cost aside, it kicks ass. Being a very stamina-happy 'lock I put this thing together for the combination of the awesome +45 stam in a trinket slot and to have some fun. (It's still a game after all, right?) I don't regret it a bit!

This thing is damn fun! I have only used it a couple of times but I'm already thinking of ways to pull from way far away for initial damage, then use some intermediate stun (felguard charge, succy seduce, whatever), then follow with another engineering grenade or bomb. Yeah, it's not standard, but heck, every five minutes during grinding you get to entertain yourself with this thing. If there are other non-engineering-savy players around you may even entertain them as well.

All of this with epic amounts of stamina. My gnome is happy.

OMG I want this so bad. I've been stubbornly holding on to engineering for so long.

As a hunter this would be the ultimate finisher.

1) ice trap

2) stand back

3) 5... 4... 3... 2... 1

4) A beautiful rocket sails across the sky

5) Immediately start casting aim shot after the knockback

5) BOOM 960-1440 dmg AND a 3 sec stun which should be enough time for Aim Shot to finish

6) If not dead yet: Silence (if caster), Multi, Arcane, Sting, Scatter, Kite... nothing will ever touch you.

The +45 Stam is the icing on this awesome hunter cake, highest stam trinket in the game.

And one more thing for hunters... NO DEAD ZONE. Once you find yourself frozen and a mage is laughing in your deadzone... scatter shot on cooldown? charge this baby up and the mage will wonder why a huge rocket is pointing at him.

So I just made this thing yesterday, and the mats were definitely a pain in the arse. I had almost all of them sitting around in my bank, just had to farm the 6 primal fires which took about 4 hours. If you are not a miner who happens to squirrel all of your goodies away on an alt - then this could be outrageously expensive. Probably worth it, because you can always make more gold and goblin engineering does not have many trinkets that are this worthwhile.

As a hunter, I could NOT be happier.... my favorite use is in world PvP.

Scenario:
Aspect of the beast, track humanoids, prowl on the cat. I C U ... U don't C meee...
Spot a horde and commence ganking in the butt.
1)Cast the rocket launcher. (3.5 seconds)
2) Stun target for 3 seconds, take own stun for 1 second.
3) Snap out of it with 2 seconds on their stun.. move into range and cast wyvern sting. (1.5 seconds = target still stunned)
4) Target is asleep for 12 seconds. I usually like to do a /tickle at this point.
5) Send in prowled pet, then cast aimed Shot (3.5 seconds)... pet usually only makes it about halfway.
I'm survival specced and my crit % is just about 30% so I'll crit in the 3k range if I'm lucky. If they're not dead, then the 1k DOT from wyvern sting kicks in and they are very, very worried.
6) Concussive Shot, Steady Shot, AutoShot, Arcane Shot.... rinse, repeat.

They MAY get 1 attack off after the aimed shot because of global cooldown. But usually they're very very dead...

I'm not sure if I burn the launcher's cooldown if I were to be interrupted while casting because I am usually just emerging from the shadows or a very large tree and not worried about getting hit. That could suck, but still make the launcher very worthwhile and probably a little overpowered.

I didn't even touch on the fact that this has +45 stam, doesn't burn any mana, doesn't affect my global cooldown (besides the self stun)and leaves enough time for another huge attack.

This item is killer fun, for kicks i went into a duel against a guy on his netherwing drake, flying past at 280% speed, when this thing went off it took off after him like a freaking Surface to Air Missle, the stun knocked him off his mount, and the icing on the cake was he fell into some nearby lava. I laughed so hard i fell out of my damn chair!

made a 2150 crit to a mob, not a critter... this is fairly nice, love it.. got it at lvl 55.. sweet:)

hit a Horde for 2350, their FC in WSG... stoped midfield, saw him comming from tunnel, he took a huge way around me but did not suspeckt the huge range of this... I hit him for 2350, a pretty nice boost damage since im holy pala and hit like a little girl.. but after this holy shock, and seal, hammer concecration, dead :) ... SWEEET

Lol, well, to tell you of my accounts...

It follows the target, and is awesome, it will chase somebody within 45 yards, GREAT for hunting down anything or simply just pulling.

Best pulling item in the game. 1000 damage. As a warrior, or paladin, nothing generates more damage than this (that is long range) and since most battles take like 2 minutes, great for pulling into small battles or for big battles :)

This can be effected by spell damage or by spells.

As a warlock, or mage, or even a ret pally (which I am) with lots of spell damage this is a 3.5 second cast SPELL. O.o With all this extra stuff, it adds up, almost like a normal spell, and I'm pretty sure it ignores armor :D

This stacks with avenging wrath...

Today I one hit a noob with this within like 30 yards as he was running away on his mount with avenging wrath and it crit the guy for like 2375 damage, I think exactly, so my battle log said :D

A level 40 something, it was awesome, you should have seen it, caurse it like homed in and exploded and blew the crap out of the guy XD

It ignored armor, did a lot of damage, and was funny as crap :P

I literally beat my keyboard and bursted out luahging, as well as some other people luaghed :)

Needless to say, this thing ROCKS, it stacks with spells, is good for pulling, is excellent for every class, a great utility, damage doer, crowd control, chasing down mobs...

The limits of this item are ENDLESS, almost every application can be used for it, and it can crit and ignore armor :)

Also a great novelty item, nothing is greater than watching someone run away and then one-hit them or finish them off with a homing missle :)

Rogues, this lil weapon can really add some spice to your stuns, result in free energy, and potentially take you outta combat... and here's how:

#1 Build to 4-5 CbtPoints your talented way
* open with CheapShot (4sec stun)
* Mutilate or Premed + Backstab
#2 KidneyShot (5-6sec stun depending on points)
#3 Immediately click the Launcher. It's a 4 sec firing time so don't start walking around, just click it right away or use a KS+Launcher macro.
#4 Boom! Target stunned for 3 more sec and you have gained 80 Energy during the launch. Can you say you're set?

About the taking out of combat thing. Sometimes, as a result of the stuns and standing still while launching or maybe it's even a bug, it will take you out of combat right after firing. Seems random but a fourtunate moment for Rogues if you can catch it.

If you're fighting in a group, high-chance you'll be interupted while casting. So this baby is best during a one-on-one fight or where standing unnoticed.

MACRO
/cast Kidney Shot
/use Goblin Rocket Launcher

Obviously you'll not want to Launch every time you press KS...
By merely continuing with the attack buttons you want, it'll interrupt any automatic launch and you'll continue the love with zero delay.

phatinthehat below me is spot-on. I macro'd Gouge-Launcher and it works like a charm too!

Or if you put a couple points into gouge, you could use that instead. Ex: Cheapshot, hemo, gouge. rocket launcher, then whatever finishing move you'd like to use. That way you don't have to use all your combo points to get a rocket in.

~Okay just to comfirm some facts:
*Once you make this trinket and equip it on your character, you may use it as many times as you want as long as the cooldown is ready to fire again(only need to wait 2mins for it to cooldown after firing)
*It will never blow up and destroy itself at random, but it will knock you on your butt after you fire it(which is pretty funny) and the powerful kick stuns you for one sec
*You CAN equip two of them at one time, but unfortunately they do INFACT share the same cooldown which I came to find out the hard way :( ..... oh well, but having one still kicks ass =)
*To learn how to make a goblin rocket launcher, you must first be specialized in goblin engineering which you can do in Tanaris
*You MUST posses a skill of 350 engineering in order to learn the recipe from the goblin specialized engineer in Tanaris and to be able to weild this powerful weapon
*The mats will be VERY expensive to just create one, but well worth the time and gold to obtain
*I'm a Belf Hunter and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE mine =), so feel free to post any more questions, comments, concerns about the goblin rocket launcher and I'll do my best to answer them all

is it me or did this get buffed? it used to be instantly interrupted on damage, i thought, and now i'm not even getting pushback. it's being incredible for me now on hunters, mages, plus more. this just me?

as of 2.4.2, your casting will now get pushed back by damage, but stun immune mobs are no longer immune to the damage!

The goblin rocket launcher is far more useful than its embarrassing competitor from gnomish mastery. You basically get a free nuke+stun every 2m.
