Talk about engineering added value.. Take a Fel Iron Bar worth 20 silver, apply your 300 engineering skill, get a Fel Iron Bolts that sell for 15 silver. Or are engineers only good at spoiling mats? xD

Make lots of these. They are cheap and are used for almost all Burning Crusade engineering recipes.

I got them fishing in zangermarsh too, along with some knothide leather scraps and motes of water

I was fishing in Zangermarsh in a pool of drain wreckage and these came out a few times just thought i'd mention this as another way to get! But could take a very long time as not many pools turn up!
