Just knock down the owlbeast in the cave, they drop the torch so you will get it eventually.

I found the effigy to burn at 11,82. Cleared a few Owlbeast then killed the main guy. Not hard. lvl 11 Shaman.

he spawns as soon as you burn it, so be ready

k i'm lvl 10 shaman.. people are talking about a white moonkin.. that must be chieftan ooomooorah thingy ... killed him.. didn't drop.

It drops off of the wild monsters when you kill them... im an idiot and thought some 1 was protecting it...

You will get it on the first kill.
As the quest says: Kill the crazed one ;)))

Hokay. So....just to put a little more meat in a post than "lulz I got it first kill"...

Coordinates: 45, 19 (cave entrance)
Things to kill: Crazed Wildkin
Percent Drop Rate: 2.3%

There are other quests to pick up from the Stillpine Furbolgs, once you have completed the prerequisite quest Beasts of the Apocolypse!. It'll likely save you some frustration, if the drop takes a while for you, to have other quests that require killing the Crazed Wildkin.

For the record: my torch dropped on the third kill. I consider that a fairly fortunate drop.

Drop rate as listed above is about right.. cleared the entire cave, got it off the first crazed wildkin to respawn heh.

when your accapting the q there is a bag in your inventory open it ent you got the torch

there's no need for killing to get the torch. when you get the quest first check the fireproof bag if the torch isnt there abandon the quest and take it again. its most likely it will be there then no need to wate time on killing.

god im such a nooob. i was trying something and i didnt knoice that the qestion was "are you sure you want to destroy ritual torch?" and i automaticly pressed yes. now i've spent 3 lvls in the owlkin cave
