Very straightforward Draconic part, just kill the demons in the southern regions of winterspring for a while and it's yours, did this as T6 prot warrior, took no time at all, compared to the others.

trivial (if time consuming) for a level 70 warlock.

the slayers are fearable and the initiates cast shadowbolt -- whatever isn't resisted is absorbed by shadow ward. there's plenty of room to fear without bringing back adds. just bring lots of food if you're 21/40 spec'd, I went through more stacks than I can count.

The droprate for this chapter should, according to the armory, be the same as the droprate for chapter II in Blasted Lands (3-14%). So don't be discouraged by the 0.1-0.2% droprate here on wowhead, it's probably because a lot more people are farming the Winterspring demons for something other than this quest. Chapter II took me about 40 kills so i'm expecting a similar farming session here.

Can anyone verify if being in a raid is a requirement for having this drop?
I've cleared the gorge nearly 3 times in 50 minutes and it hasn't dropped.

It's in the south part of the mage quarter, on the inside of the canal.

To be specific, this is located on a table on the ramp to the left of the wyrmguard + 3 overseers pull.

Dropped off the very first mob (Hederine Slayer) we killed in Darkwhisper! I don't know the droprate per se (took several kills in Tainted Scar to get chapter) but I knew I had lucked out!

The previous note is a bit vague saying "its to the left of the Wyrmguards". - seeing that there's several packs in BWL containing these mobs.

Fight your way through the Firemaw room where you have 4 packs of mobs. After that there are 2 slopes which take you up to the room with the rest of the mobs and where Krixix and the remaining 2 drakes are at the far end.

At the end of the first slope leading to this room there is a table on your left - it's on that.

I'm curious, what does the book do once you combine it all together? Also, how do you get it to bind to you, like the ones in the library? You click on them and they just show the magnifing glass and open up into garbled page.

Chapter III dropped off the 2nd Hederline Slayer. These are NOT immune to roots, so it was an easy solo for a Druid in +spell damage gear.
