Quest starts near entrance to Lordareon, turn right before entering and walk until you see the giant wickerman. Then ask there for quests.

The keg you need is straight in front of you as you enter the inn, to the left of the stairs. There's a pyramid of kegs and the top one is the one you're after. It doesn't involve a casting time, just right click and accept, so don't worry too much about being killed in the process. If you can't make it to the keg before death just die in the inn and revive yourself right in front of the keg.

There is a room at the top of the inn with two lvl 15 civilians in it. If you can get there and FD, or just die near inn and rez there you can plant all three stinkbombs behind them. They wont attack you unless you move in front of them.

Yeah, once you get to that room with the level 15 in it there's really no problem. Of course if some Alliance show up then they can cause a little trouble (got 7 HKs from doin' the quest). Died once for the stinkbombs, died once for the keg, died a few times gettin' to the inn in the first place. No problem.

Yeah the one problem is that the guards kill you and you lose durability on your armor (sigh) Even if you are PVP.

That's why you remove your armor beforehand

you just need an invisibility potion and you can do it without dying

the stink bombs can be thrown from the north side of town hall and the guards won't agro you

I must agree, I tried also and it is most certainly bugged... very annoying... ALMOST made it back out of town... i'm a level 49 rogue :S

I was Able to target the keg but wasnt able to have the quest finished it says my quest is complete tho. And why was there no Horde on the South Park Wow episode? Why Blizzard you didnt even finish our other mount quest like the ally have. =(

I also think the quest is bugged.. When I got the quest it allready said 'completed'. And couldn't use the rotten eggs on the keg in the inn either.

Not sure if this is useful to anyone without stealth, but here's how I did both the SS Halloween quests solo and stealthed at level 45.

1. Got to the SW corner of SS, just between the building and the wharf, in stealth. Edged my way east to the road and headed north a little. Used the first stink bomb as far north as I could and was promptly attacked by guards. First bomb completed. Tried to die as close to the inn door as possible.

2. Went back to corpse and rezzed on the north side of the inn and stealthed. Seemed to be clear of aggro at this position. Used second stink bomb, which brought one guard. Waited for second bomb to be complete then used vanish.

3. Waited for cooldown on stink bombs and used again from same position as second bomb. Once third bomb was complete, ran as far as I could into the inn before dying.

4. Walked to corpse and managed to rez in cellar corner downstairs (my corpse upstairs near the entrance of inn). Waited until health was back up and stealthed past NPCs to the keg. As previously described, the keg isn't in the cellar but is next to the stairs in the main inn room. It's the top barrel of the keg pyramid. Managed to use the keg and completed the quest. Was jumped by guard and spirit rezzed.

When you accept the eggs quest it's marked as complete, meaning you don't have to return to NPC to finish. You do need to accept the second part of quest once you use keg, which is to return to NPC for your reward - a chain of two quests.

Reward is not much XP (about 1250) and some Halloween treats. Yay.

I just did this solo last night for the current season. It was easy. Click on the top keg of the piramid next to the stairs. I was ganked by a 70 rogue, SS/fear bomb, clicked and ran out. Easy day.

This is B.S.! There are 2 SS guards patrolling inside the Inn on Vek'nilash. I guess Blizzard favors Alliance.
