Some of the posts are quite old now and the new patch has changed how this whole BG / honour system works. For starters there aren't ranks anymore, and I know... we all looked forward to gaining ranks, but thats it they aren't there. Instead is a much better system (in my opinion) in which you use your honour and medals to buy the stuff and don't need any special ranks or reputations but just levels. For example if you did WSG a lot you wolud get Warong Gulch Mark of Honour and a certain amount of honour for each kill. Then you would go to the WSG vendor and buy Legionnaire's Sword for 350 honour and 30 Warsong Gulch Mark of Honour. There are five versions of this sword and they go up in levels rather than PVP ranks or reputations. NO REPUTATION IS NEEDED {thank god}. The Horde WSG vendor is located at Morshan Rampart. To get there folow the road north of the Crossroads until you get to a small village. Go further North up the village and to your left you will see lots of Horde flags. Turns left and go up the hill. The vendor is on your right. So I hope I've helped and set a few things clear so go and do lots of BGs for the Horde {or allience?} and gather that honour! See ya!

U need 2 have 30 WSG marks for this wepon and you get it fromWSG outriders between northan barrens and ashenvale is simple u buy it from a vendor it dont cost you any money.

This is to the person who asked something like "how do I get this sword? I have no idea", did you bother to read any of the previous posts? There is a post which is highlighted in yellow a few posts above yours that tells you exactly how to get it..

Go to the Warsong Gulch Battlemaster, ask to go into a battleground, then play against alli or horde, if you win, you get 3 marks, if you lose you get 1, you will also get honor based on how many kills you get and whether you win or not, etc..

Using those marks and that honor (I think you need 30 marks and 280 or so honor), you can go to the WSG portal which is far north of the crossroads for horde (not sure for alli) and buy it from there.

the alliance 1 is in the south of ashenvale juts as you come up from the barens take a left its called the silverwing outpost yuoll find it not to hard to get to

they need to change the graphic of this sword, it looks like a piece of wood rather than a sword. maybe turn it into a recycled graphic of the Krol Blade? that seems a lot more like the horde...

Where you buy this?

: North of Barrens just between Ashenvale and Barrens, fly to xr, walk up the road to Ashenvale, when you see a horde camp (or something like this) turn left, theres a little base up there where you can buy WSG ( Warsong Gulch ) stuff and you can also enter the battle from there :)

for rogues... slower wep = bigger ss damage....

look at ss does wep damage + X... therefor the slower the wep the greater the overall dps...

fast weps r used in offhand (still highest dps is gd for offhands) 2 apply poisons

This is to anyone who asks " can i dual-wield 28 + 18 version? "... YES. You are able to dual-wield this sword on ANY LEVEL, so long as the level requirement is not the same ( ie: 28+18, 38+28, and so on ). So stop asking! =P

i'm thinkin bout duel-weilding 2 of these swords for my twink warrior...can i duel weild 2 of these? Or will it only let me weild one of them at a time? is duel weilding these better than the corpsemaker w/a fiery enchant?

okay stoopid question but i have a undead warr and i and i have the legionnaires sword for lvl28... now is there any swords that looks like this because i want to dual wield at least similar looking weapons, i also intend on getting a glow on it any 1 know wat the closest looking sword might be called and maybe the best enchant i could put on bothfor now so i stay a lvl29 twink, u know so i dont get too much xp while trying to find this sword that may look like the leggionaires sword?

the equivalent of this sword for the alliance is called the protector's sword. has all the same stats.

you need Honored or Exalted for WSO (Warsong Outriders) for Weapons and armor to show up

As of 2.3, this will be better for a DW 29 twink warrior than either Vanq or Omen, because of the slow speed. Whirlwind will now do weapon damage of BOTH hands to enemies around you.

Rogues/Hunters remain unaffected, with the Vanq and omen being better.

I don't see this one on the vendor, but I see the other more advanced rewards from the defilers vendor. Were these removed, or is it just another inconsistancy? If they're still around, does anyone know what you need to buy one? Currently I'm friendly to Warsong.
