I got it on my druid, named Tired, on blackrock.
Its one of the nefarian's head quest rewards as well, pretty nice.

Yes this item is a choice, but this is the most likely choice for a warrior/tank. The sad part is that being that BWL is a level above MC, this item is not a level above the MC neck piece.
Now I can live with the agility, although strength would be preferred. The fact that you get less defense, but slightly more stamina than the Medallion of Steadfast, makes this item a letdown. If it had 10 defense and perhaps %2 block rate increased with shield...then maybe it would be an obvious "upgrade"

Reason is quite simple. Its the best +sta neck in the game i can get, and Nefarian always dropping his head, im not takeing away some rare drop from anyone. The offhander, i prefer staves, and if i went for 1handers i could get a better in AQ20/40.

The neck will serve me well for along time however, and when im done upgrading my gear i will have around 5K unbuffed HP and still around 350ish spellpower. That is very nice for pvp. And trust me when i say this, there is parts in PvE where high stamina mages are prefered. Just ask the healers who heals mages on AoE intensive parts :).

I suspect they did this to satisfy those people who have been grinding MC and been unlucky with drops. At least Nef's head is a guarantee.

vs. Steadfast Might:

+110 HP
+0.7% crit
+28 AC

-0.34% dodge
-0.04% parry
-0.04% block
-16 AP (for warrior)
-damage blocked by shield (don't know formula)
negligibly more likely to receive crit (due to -1 def)

I dont think hunter because of that defense, looks liek a warrior item, cuz agility addds armor. but who knows. im a hunter and wouldnt spend dkp on htat piece of crap

I just wanna say grats again to the guild Drama on the Shattered hand server for being first to kill Nefarius (or is it Nefarian... bah). Great job guys! Oh btw, I am a hunter myself and being the n00b wearing pvp necklace I'd take this over the other two rewards (trinket and offhand).
