OMG....I honestly can not believe I'm the first person to comment about the Giant stalker belt. All I can say about this item is that it has filled trade with one of the most annoying spams since the days of Leeroy Jenkins, and random Chuck Norris jokes. All in all this item was once a great thing to have until BC released now the lowest outland green will replace this, and it's not even worth the time or effort put forward into getting it anymore.

I've gone to MC only one time with my new guild and i got the giantstalker belt and the blastershot launcher. =D I got outrolled on GS pants and boots tho... i hope to get them pretty soon!

You're an idiot if you don't think hunters can do melee dps when needed. with my epic staff I crit most squishies for 1000+ with raptor strike.

This item is by far the most common drop in MC and all of our hunters have it or dragonstalker. We also have 3 in bank so yeah it's common. It drops off thrash mobs in MC

in one MC raid this belt dropped twice. i didnt get either but i got GS boots so i was happy:) it was definitly a hunter night other than the cenarian belt that also dropped.

Honestly, my hunter has the belt,legs,and bracers and they seem to even be better than that zandalar set or even the beastmaster(meant for "beastmasters"). The set is great for dps with the +1 criticals on some of the armor. It helps a lot in high instances when it comes to the dps charts as well.

i got 6/8 Giantstalker in about 4 raids, Shoulders,chest,boots,bracers,legs and the helm. Thanks to you all slacking hunters in the guild u gave me epixxx =)+ i got the leaf and all demons are dead, now i only need the sinew from onyxia. 4 gianstalker bracers, 2 bracers of might, 1 girdle or prophecy droped the last 2 raids. hmmm

A few posts back Hunter melee ability was brought up. And i took not of someone saying get as much Str as you can for this adn was amazed to see no one corect this! on a hunter 1 STR= 1 Melee attack power. 1 AGI= 1 Melee attack power + 2 Ranged Attack power +dodge adn crit increases. Sure str helps but AGI is key! It's always funny ot hear someone call someone else a noob here adn say something totaly uninformed along with it. Be nice to everyone, educate, and learn/ Thats is why were here.

What I don't understand is...

Why did Bliz make it sooo much harder to get the belt and the bracers than to get any other piece?

Add up all those trash drop % rates, and it probably doesn't even equal 5%.

Most bosses have at least a 10% or so drop rate for much more powerful gear, yet you're still screwed over because you need these to complete the set.

Also, I think this set needed the graphic overhaul, not Dragonstalkers... but maybe that's just me. I like the look of the helm on my orc atm, but the pants *they look like shorts, good thing i'm not undead*, and the shoulders are just plain goofy.

Come on Bliz, Fix yer %^&*!

set bonus's really don do much for anyone on the GS set .... seeing as how most of what you do in the highend game (and thats where you should be) if you have any of this set ... last time i used my pet was to help pull boss's in MC lol ... so what do i need longer range on mend pet for if i know that he is gonna die anyway lol... all in all the only good stat added with the set is the stats for the full set .... otherwise this set is a joke ... (except the stats are good) so the heck with grafix changes .... make this set desireable blizz kk thanks..

The new set bonuses stink (hardly use multishot in MC, Mend Pet? lol), but the new art is great.

I like the skull on the chest piece. The shoulders are a little out of control for a class that is supposed to be lithe and agile. Hope they tone it down a bit.

At least we don't look like a reindeer (set druid set lol).

Why have they put a set bonus that is moore for the pet then the Hunter itself ?

3 pieces: Increases the range of your Mend Pet spell by 50%.
5 pieces: Increases your pet's life by 150 and all spell resistances by 100.
8 pieces: Increases the damage of Multi-shot and Volley by 15%.

As i see it you hardly have any use for the pet in a instance like MC and i doubt that it will be moore useful when new harder instances will be released.
