Hunt the Scourge Champions in the Eastern Plaguelands. They will drop Fetid Skulls. When you use the Mystic Crystal, it will test the Fetid Skull, and possibly replace it will a Resonating Skull, which is what you need for the Marauders of Darrowshire quest.

Every champion I killed dropped a fetid skull - I had about a 33% rate in converting the fetid skull to the resonating one needed for the quest.

Total Champions killed: 16.

The area the champions spawn can be a pain to fight in for some classes and champions don't spawn reliably. As such, this quest can be a little time consuming.

As long as you can handle 58-60 mobs and the occasional add you'll be ok.

What a pain in the butt this is. There's only a handful of champions. Most of the time every mob in the area is dead because this zone is more crowded than IronForge. It wook me dats to get 5 resonating skulls.

As of 28 OCT 05 the skulls were not soulbound. Additionally you can collect more than the 5 required.

I went to Browman Mill, and with 7 kills, had the 5 skulls I needed....I soloed this part as a LVL 58 rogue.

i killed 5 scourge champions just above light's hope chapel and made a resonating skull from them all

i am a level 57 warrior, i solo'd this quest, took about 15kills of the level 59 and level 60 champs but was worth the EXP as i wanted to get to level 58 asap so i cud get to outlands

Just did this today, I had three skulls and just kept right clicking the crystal and it kept giving be skulls. hahaha probably bugged

Yeah its readly bugged..
and after i finish the quest i create like 100 bone dust and sell them.
i hope they have use :P

Killed one Scourge Champion, got one skull. Right clicked the crystal twice by accident, and it worked twice. Kept clickin, got 13 Resonating Skull's, and 10 Bone dust.

Note: Bone Dust has no sell price to vendors. :( I know, would have been awesome! :D /right-click-for-free-money!

Makes the quest easy though. :)
