This quest is only attaianable after you start the blue dragonflight line of quests that begins by talking to Awbee in Upper Black Rock Spire.

Simply not worth the effort if you have a guild that does MC. GS legs drop much more often than the Carapace, and have essentially the same stats for hunters but with 1% crit added on there too.

If you don't do MC, then maybe these are for you. Chances are though you'll get tired of farming for the Carapace long before you actually get it.

my guild does MC, but my hunter is an alt...so i dont really wanna compete against mains, or take away from our nexus crystal stock. these are definatley for me.

hmm, i honestly think these pants needs some better stats, like, +5 resist to everything sounds a bit silly, because your not going to use all kinds of resistances at same time, just give +25 FR and it would be cool.

Im about to get these as well. I got the carapace on my 3rd run. Which is funny beacuse that was on my birthday, and I got my second Del'Rend sword to complete my set to. But anyway, I just need 3 more Brilliant Chromatic Scales then they are mine. So yes, it is possiable to find and get these, just a bit rare. And they arnt that bad at all for people who can't / dont like high lvl raids.

got all the dam mats but 1 skin of shadow! took me ages of doing UBRS to get the carpace but i got it!...why did they have to nerf the drop rate of the skin of shadow! WHY!

I hate blizz for this item. I spent 5 MONTHS....literally 5 MONTHS farming UBRS 4 to 5 times a day every day back when it was a 15 man raid and never once saw this drop....then one day a guildie went on his first run, it dropped, and guess what happened.

not only did he not know what it was or what it was for, he didnt have the quest so he VENDORED IT! And then told me he did it! I almost killed him. That was the only mat I needed to make those damn things for months!

the req level for the quest is 60 right?, ill start the rend runs asap cos if u dont get the epic needed for them, then u shouldnt do the quest first of all.
