These can be picked up near the lava stream, in a little side alcove of the orc highway. Need to be a blacksmith to get quest. You click on the skeleton near by to get quest then pick up gauntlets by clicking on them. They do not respawn so only one person an instance can get them. You then bring them to Malyfous Darkhammer in Winterspring to get the next part of the quest.

It should be noted that even if you are not a blacksmith. You can still click the arm, and that in doing so, the arm disappears.

So make sure if you are not a BS; that you not ruin it for any BS's in the group.

Seems bugged as of 01/26/09.

I got them the first time for the quest, and now 150g in quest items from the AH later, the arm gives me nothing every time I loot it, and the quest requirements show me as not having the gauntlets, either.

Edit - spoke to a gm who confirmed this quest is bugged and will hopefully be fixd with the next patch. :<

Where exactly can these be found at? UBRS? LBRS? And which part?

Yes, these are found in the lava, closer to the wall, a step or two inside. Make sure you mouse over it before you go in, and if you don't have a lot of HP, bring a healer down.

How am I supposed to pick these up when the lava keeps interrupting my interaction? Is there some kind of special way or doing this? Even if I am healed over and over again the laava's still there.

You don't have to do any lava jumping. From the area with all the orc tents, there's a giant hole in the wall. Just walk through it and down the path.

And I can't believe nobody said it yet, but the object you interact with is the robotic arm in the glass from Terminator 2. Good stuff.

if u take the shortcut to wyrm, wen u jump down and kill a few mobs look to the right ther is a whole in the wall and a little path, go to the bottom of the path and thy are ther (lbrs)

When you're in the Firebrand section of LBRS, down where the lava is, there's a passage that's kind of hidden behind a mob. If you go in the direction of the quest giver that says "human remains" you should find it.

Soloed as a level 60 warrior with 4000 hp+ and 4000 armor:

-Enter UBRS/LBRS entrance portal in Blackrock Mountain
-Gently walk as far as you can up to the first packs on either of the sides
-RUN! (You will lose most of your HP after this point. I had 1600 hp when I got to the next part)
-You want to go up on the right stairs and fall down to the next area, so the mobs that you've already agroed will have to run around.
-Next group you can pass without dying, but I was unfortunate and met a pat of 2 mobs. (I didn't die though. Just kept going).
-Get to the first ledge over the lava, as soon as you are out in the open again, and the mobs will reset very fast.
-Jump to the next ledge and check the lava beneath you. You will see a square black stone in the lava.
-Jump down and aim for that black stone in the lava. (Jump into the lava first)
-I didn't really jump on the square stone, but just swam to the opposite side, and could see both the skeleton and the gauntlets.
-Take the quest from the skeleton.
-Take the gauntlets.

I had HS to Everlook, so getting out and to hand in the quest was pretty simple. Good luck!
