One of the faster one handed swords you can get your hands on. I used with my Paladin (protection spec) untill I got a much better raid drop.

I used it alot in WSG, because of its speed I had alot higher chance for Seal of Justice to proc, slowing the flag carrier for a 2 second stun more than once.

Also, the chance on hit proc is very frequent at least once per fight.

I have been using this sword on my paladin from level 51 and will probably still be using it by the time I get to Outland.

The speed means a lot of procs from Seal/Judgement combos for health/mana.

White damage is also fairly respectable, for AoE grinding.

The proc happens very rarely for me - only four times today, against a few hundred mobs.

This has been a good replacement for the Dazzling Longsword, though I found the proc on that one more useful. https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=869

I have the plans for this bad boy and will make a sword for anyone bringing me the Mats (no fee to make).

I am a Paladin and have the crusader enchant on this sword. It seems to proc at least once or twice per fight against most mobs (sometimes 3 or 4 times). I think the speed of this weapon helps the crusader

I judge seal of light then put on seal of righteousness,again due to the speed the holy damage stacks up fast.

I have seen alot of questions about this sword and its looks. I will honestly have to say this about it. It is a beautiful sword naturally and with the enchants on it, they tend to look extremely evil. I am a Master Swordsmith on the Uther realm and I carry 2 of these. 1 has Fiery enchant and the other has the Crusader enchant. You can't ask for a better weapon combination. Definately worth the time and money to put into the mats for all of it. Especially in PvP! lol

Kk here this is the deal if you play SG (staghelm US) well... then go ahead buy mats should be cheap except for the azethorian diamonds. because there very rare and super hard to find i bought three for 21g =/ and another thing if u play staghelm the essence of fire are very cehap! so its like 90s ea.

Would this be good for a Protection Paladin? It will use every single one of the reckoning attacks. For tanking? Im looking for a good prot spec sword.

Since i can buy mats for someone to make it I'm not stealing it from a rogue or something.

Just had this made last night, picked up the mats for about 80g, had the same guy that made my Phantom blade hook it up. Im a lvl 49 rogue, this will be my OH, my main will be Krols Blade(99g at AH), with a +7 damage ench. Not sure what ench to go with on the Rapier though...prolly AGI or another +7.

This and Krols blade for my 51 rogue...I should be able to hold on to these all the way to 58, and thats sick. Not sure if there's a better main and OH combo for a rogue at this lvl.

Oooo, I want 2 of these! LOL! I am a level 49 Fem. Human Warrior and a Blacksmither (specialized in Armorsmithing) and now a skill level 300. Would like to make these, but I guess I can't do the quest to get the plans for the Blazing Rapier until I hit level 50. Darn! I currently dual-wield 2 Axe of Rin'ji (blue item, 35.0 DPS, 46-87 damage, speed 1.90, +5 agility, +11 stamina, Requires level 48). I guess I better start leveling up!

I use 2 of thse on my 55 fury warrior with lifestealing for my MH and firey in OH... i pown i dueled lvl 60 warrior and owned him then i dueled him again after he put on his FR gear from 150 FR and u know what .....

I STILL POWNED HIM LOL! just gose to show dont mess with me AND TEH FIRESTORM FROM HELL I HOLD IN MY HANDS

I'm just about ready to make one of these... You get the plans by completing the Quest to become a Master Swordsmith. I use 1 currently, and as an added kicker....I had it enchanted with fiery weapon. The best enchant for this weapon, hands down, because the proc rate of the sword and the enchant hit often enough to justify the cost.

these weps are ok ... unless you are doin MC in which case you dont want 2 proc... i duel weild these sometimes on a warrior and they are fairly decent weps.. and get lots of compliments on looks lol =) over all its a good wep

I have this with lifestealing on my protection pali, use this with seal of light and you litterly never run out of health.

also works good with reckoning bomb.
