There seems to be a set amount of Incendia Agave spawned at any given time. For every one I picked up, another spawned instantly elsewhere in the pool (which I saw thanks to Find Herbs.

pretty sure there aren't even 10 spawned in the little pool area at one time... gotta sit and wait for them to respawn.

Yeah, there are not quite 10 in the pool(but you can find some outside the pool too) and they spawn pretty quickly plus it gives you a chance to get loaded up on bubbling water to restore mana.

These are NOT drops. These are plants sparsely located under and around the black-water bubbling pools (un-named on the map). I had to swim back and forth, dodging/killing elementals for about 8 minutes to gather 10 of them.

There appear to be 3 spawn points on the south end of the lake (36.6, 38.8), 2 on shore, and 1 underwater to the north.

no.. there are more than 3 of them.. I counted 8 spawn points but others were there so they could have been looting as well as I was.. but it is best to have another person with you because of their STUN.. They totally take you out of the game for like 5 seconds per STUN and if 2 of them aggro on you at the same level as they are your toast.. had 2 warriors and a druid.. Druid kept us alive from his heals but STUN of theirs is totally off any CD that we have.. Suggest you look before you attack or have a high level toon with you or a group.

(Copied my comment from the quest page) For this quest, I decided to try camping one spawn point to get an idea of spawn times. I sat there for ages with no spawn, until someone else showed up and started to do the quest, after which the plant spawned in front of me. It seems that whenever a plant is looted, another one respawns elsewhere in the area.

Lots of Incendia Agave can be found near and below the water surface in the lake. Guarded by water elementals
