There is a skeleton down by the lava in hordemar. If you are an armoursmith you can pick them up off the guy... as a warning only 1 person can pick them up per instance

IF you are an armorsmith you can click the body down by the lava river, he's in the orcs area after voone on the way to wyrmthalak. As soon as you see the lava river, look for a tunnel in the wall, that leads down to the skeleton, get the quest from it, and then get the unfiery gauntlets which are under the lava, get someone to constantly heal you or be very quick. Then go to the guy in winterspring.

This quest is soloable. I just did it with my 60 war. Simply go to ah, buy a potion of invisibility( I bought a greater potion, I'm not sure if a lesser works) Then simply go into lbrs use it and run to it. Drop down as you would if you going for the Spider boss, and then drop into the lava and go to the ledge where this quest is at. You will have to know your way around lbrs to do this, as if you dont your ivisibility potion will run out, or you will die in the lava.

I heard somene talking about BRD, and another one explaining about LBRS, wich clearlly make me confused.

I used two invisibility potions just to be sure. Go into BRS. There's usually some roamers walking around so be sure that you spot them first. Swallow a potion and run up the right side ramp and turn right.

Go all the way out on the end of the ledge and wait for the 10 min. recycle on the potion. Look down and you will see two roamers. Mark their path. When you're ready to drink the next potion wait until the two roamers are underneath you then drink and jump toward the far wall and run through the archway and take a sharp right after you have gotten thru.

Stay against the way and inch out the ledge and look down. You will see a ledge below you. Jump down on it. Then jump down to the bank of the lava river. If you fall in, don't panic and just swim over to the bank. You'll see the gauntlets and the skeleton laying there.

Take to WS.

Ask a warlock along the way.. or in your guild to give you Major healthstonex1 and a SoulStone.. After that, run into LBRS, do nothing but run! After you fall into LBRS.. From where you fall, run into the room on the left through the hallway. After you do, in that room turn to the right (Right about now you might of needed to pop the Healthstone, unless you pop Shield Wall when you fell) Hug the right wall and jump from the ledge.. Leap of Faith! You'll land on a ledge, then jump onto the next one right infront of you.. face toword the lava. Jump in, then quickly turn to the left, NEVER STOP JUMPING. If timed correctly you wont take ANY damage! (I did that while running through BRD to grab a quick MC attunement.. I never took one hit of damage) Theres a ledge right there. From there jump onto that out of the Lava..Right infront of you will be the Unforged guantlets.. Or whatever they may be named. Grab them.. Start the quest.. Then do the next part. Easy as pie! Ive personally made 60g off of making these gloves.

just to warn you quesitn smiths out there this is still armorsmith only, it was not changed int the last patch like so many othere recipes were

So, I completed the quest right before the recent patch in which former armorsmith patterns became weaponsmith patterns too. BUT... I vendored the pattern, as I was unaware of the impending change to all patterns.

Any chance you can repeat the quest? If not, I hear a GM petition coming...

A recent patch was supposed to fix recipes like these so all blacksmiths can make the items.

I got a response from a GM on it -

We are aware of the situation you reported, and we are currently working on a

These must have been changed after the patch (2.1.2) last week as my weaponsmith can now learn them. He had not been able to up to then as the pattern listed armosmith but now it doesn't.
