you find different plants around felwood that are corrupted, most i find are to be around the satyrs, but you used this salva to cleanse them and get the items within, either a healing "pot" which has a seperate CD, (so can use that and a pot) or a buff etc, you need corrupted soul shards but they can be farmed easily off mobs, especially if you are grinding timbermaw rep, well worth having imo, great for PvP aswell !

you need this in order to cure the plants around fel wood, curing the plants wil give you different plants wich you can use to the quests for the head enchants wich most twinks use.

You need this thing in order to cure the plants around Felwood.

There are 4 kind plant that you can cure.

1) Corrupted Songflower (https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/object=164886)
- When cleansed, turns into "Cleansed Songflower" (https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/object=164882), and will give u the buff "Songflower Serenade" (https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/spell=15366) (Increases critical strike rating and spell critical strike rating by 70 and all attributes by 15 for 1.00 hrs.)

2)Corrupted Windblossom (https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/object=164887)
- When cleansed, turns into "Cleansed Windblossom" (https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/object=164884), and will give you the fruid called "Windblossom Berries" (https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=11950) (Use: Restores 1933 health over 27 sec. Must remain seated while eating. Also increases your Stamina by 10 for 10 min.)

3. Corrupted Night Dragon (https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/object=164885)
- When cleansed, turns into "Cleansed Night Dragon" (https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/object=164881), and will give you "Night Dragon's Breath" (https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=11952)

The Cenarion Plant Salve quests do not add up for the Loremaster of Kalimdor achievement.

You turn Patch of tainted skins into this by lady elf standing off side of the road(to right)before the Emerald Circle(coming fron ashenvale). She gives you the cenarion salve to help corrupted plants.

Patch of tainted skin can be skinned from animals in felwood.

if you are a horde member, you can turn the hides to these salves by a tauren wandering east from the sanctuary in felwood

It will give you an alternate method to make it other than collecting shards depending on your professions. As an alchemist I had to collect "Fel moss" from any herb inside Felwood, my friend who was an enchanter got it by giving them certain enchating materials. And i'm sure there would be another for mining.

just found out. i used it on corrupted songflower and it gave me a 60 minute buff that increases chance for a critical hit by 5% and all atributes by 15

When you do it several times ( haven't counted but I think 6 ) you get an extra 4200 XP ( at lvl 52 ). And the question mark turns blue.

thought I'd give ppl some coords for these plants, I only use the Wipperroots myself (rogue) and the occasional Night's Dragon Breath for the +100 hp on head/legs Quest reward.

I'm not quite sure why blizzard put these in an area where most of the mobs are hi 40s to 50s - as each one requires only lvl 45 to use.

Windblossom - 1,933 healing plus 10 stamina for 10 minutes

Nightdragon's breath - restores 394-456 mana & health

Whipperroot - restores 700-900 health

Haven't come across the song blossom yet...

Several months back I did the quest to collect Nightdragon for the 100hp enchant. Over the past several days I have been searching felwood for the plants for another enchant. I'm going at very late times when not many are in zone and can't seem to find either plant up. Were these plants moved from their original spots in the last several months, if not, anyone know the respawn on them?

I have 300 skinning and the Salve via Skinning is available. I have 150 herbalism and Salve via Gathering is NOT available to me, so I guess that there is some minimum level you need to be. Not that it matters, I had collected 15 tainted hides long before getting this quest, via normal skinning runs.

There aren't nearly enough of these corrupted plants around and the respawn rate is long. I've been running around for 40 minutes from spot to spot where the plants are supposed to be and haven't found one that still corrupted yet.

i cant find the wipper in jaedenar , 40:61, im exactly at these coordinates but there is nothing.

You'll get 4200XP once for each of the three types:
- Tainted Skins
- Herbalism (Fel Creep)
- Corrupted Soul Shards

After that, it'll switch to the blue question mark. (Can repeat for the Plant Salve, but no XP).

A nice easy 12,600 XP if you've got the skills for it.

Bliz should add +5 or +10 rep gain for each turn-in or plant cleansing. As it is, you ARE kinda working for the Cenarions so there def should be rep gain involved.

After you apply the salve to each plant, click on the plant to get a buff. e.g. songflowers give you "songflower serenade" which is +5% to your cance to crit.

Also 500 XP for each plant type

Whipper Root gives you 6 Whipper Root Tubers which restore 700-900 health.

I tried this twice at 66, doesn't seem to work anymore. I used to grab the buff, teleport back to Shatt with it and quest there.

If you're not a skinner/herb is there any other way to get the salves to heal the plants? I am a miner/eng and have not found anything yet.

Does anyone know if the buffs obtained by cleansing these plants are stackable?

I know that Night Dragon's Breath gives you the Songflower Serenade buff and it is NOT consumable, but rather instantaneous.

What happens, though, if you apply another buff? Do they replace each other like the Juju Power or the Power buffs do?

Are they stackable?

the songflower plants are by far the most common and best use, 70 spell and melee crit rating and +15 to all stats. 60 minute duration.

the others give useless crap compared,

get the songflower, it still wtfpwns at 70!

For Horde, Maybess Riverbreeze (46,83) gives quest called Cleansing Felwood, killing mobs at Irontree Cavern (56,17).

After you return this quest, she gives you a Cenarion Beacon which you have to carry while Hunting or Mining. (Remember to ask for the Beacon.) Then return 4 Tainted Vitriol (from mining) or 6 Corrupted Soul Shards (from hunting) in return for plant salve.

How long do the plants stay salved? I found that some plants I'd salved or were salved by other players remained uncorrupted even after leaving them and coming back 30 minutes to an hour later or even after leaving Felwood and coming back. As resource-type quest nodes, I did not see any of the salved plants de-spawn or change back while I played.

How many times do the plants give items? I also found some plants can be opened multiple times- and without de-spawning.

Songflower - takes 2 salves - 70 crit (spell/melee/ranged) and 15 to all stats - 60 minute BUFF - NICE

Wind Blossom - takes 2 alves - random number of wildberries (food that gives 10 stam when eaten for 10 min). I got 9 one time and 10 another. Not very useful in my opinion

Night Dragon - takes 4 salves - 3 night's dragon breath (restore 394-456 mana and health) - usless unless you are doing the 100 hp quest.

Whipper root - takes 3 salves - random number of whipper root tubers (restore 700-900 health). I got 6 one time and 4 another. Would be useless (less than health pot) BUT IT IS ON A DIFFERENT TIMER. Very usefull!

WARNING.
Theese small devils are VERY addictive. When first tryed, it will be hard to carry out ur dayli xp grind without them. Raised my fury war`s Crit% to around 30...

The quest giver is on the right shortly after entering Felwood from Ashenvale, before you get to emerald sanctuary. She didn't have it for me when I first came to Felwood so not sure if it is aquired at lvl 52 or after I completed the first quest for her.

Apparently you can't receive these buffs past level 60. So don't store these up: use 'em when you got 'em!

I came to Felwood to farm Arthar's Tears but can't find a one - i even have locations where they are supposed to be and I"m pretty sure no one farmed them before i got here - anyone have a clue where they are? Thanks.

I just killed animals to get 6 corrupted soul shards. I kept cenarion beacon in the bags. I turned in shards to quest giver to get cenarion plant salves which completed the quest. I used salves on the various plants. I repeated quest as needed.

To really get a lot of shards, kill deadwood furbolgs.

Problem to finding plants though. Does not show up in minimap nor with Gatherer addon :(

Hey all,
Came to find out where the Night Dragon was but i guess the info isnt here yet. So ill make a start...

Windblossom can be found near the second saytr boss in the north.

Whipper Root is very near there too, before you get to the boss there are 2 camps of 3 demons one each side, the Whipper root is by the northern camp.

Song Flower is easily seen while riding the northern section of path, sorry cant really be very accurate on loc, i guess measuring from the north end of the road, it wouldnt be in the first 1/6 of the road but would be in the first 1/3 if that makes any sense to you folks.. hehe kinda near the ironbark area / northern set of saytrs

Since it came up in the discussions, the buff (only used Songflower in my case) still works well and even for a level 66 Prot is pretty significant. 60 minutes is usually enough to justify the trip back to Felwood and then off to wherever else you need to quest.
