You can find many of them around 31,78, all scattered around the remains of a dinosaur, no elites around either.

You can do it, but it's long walk.
Or do it in NE of Un'Goro Crater, kill the Young Diementradons, you got them too and XP.
Do it with Bloodpetal quest.

Farm'em from the young demetrion dinasaurs 31% drop rate and they are really easy to kill farmed these on 15 mins no problem on my arms warrior-retri pala-BM-hunter-Combat-rogue..

There's tons of these as ground-score in the SW area of the crater.

there is a bunch of dinasaur bones on the south west part of of Un'Goro Crater
they are all around a dead half eaten dinosaur all over the ground.

I finished this in about five minutes by picking up the ones on the ground, as mentioned above. Yeah, there are a bunch of elite mobs there, but their aggro radius is pretty small. Get on your mount and ride right up to the bones, then mount up again when you have them. It takes a little care, but it's certainly better than waiting through the horrible drop rate.

dont go here unless you're 52+
its a bunch of lvl 52-56 mobs around the area. tried to solo it as a 49 hunter, it was going ok with some feign and pet distraction.
I got 2 bones and then I met this nice 57 mage that ganked me ^^ sooo I ressed at the Spirit Healer and got the bones in the nice old grinding way, instead.

its better to kill different mobs to get the bones anyways, cause then you'll get both xp from mobs + the q reward xp. Atleast its a comfort when we're not able to do it the easy way like higher lvls and just run around and pick them up from the ground =p
it will just take x2 times the time needed if you try to go to this location as a lower lvl, cause you're gonna aggro everything around you.

P.S if you're still going for Loc: 31,78 to try to pick them up. watch out for the elites <.<

A tip for mages doing this quest you can sheep the elite stegodon and pick up the bones then run far enough away to get out of combat from the stegodon.

I picked up this quest at level 53 and levelled all the way from 54 to 60 by grinding Dimetrodons. When I was done, I was at 2/8 bones. Brilliant trolling by Blizzard.
