Without having tried this set on (or even reached level 70 of course, since this is written before the burning crusade is released), it seems pretty obvious to me this is a pure "nuking" set meant for duels, arenas and to some extent battlegrounds. Holy priests will likely feel gimped wearing these clothes; shadow priests might like it tho.

There's no mana regen on this set. Nor any spirit at all. It will be terrible for raiding (and most likely 5-man dungeons as well) because of this, so there's not much chance one can go the 'easy' route of aquiring a good PvE set through lots and lots of battleground grinding.

All it seems to be good for is high burst damage until you're either out of mana, all enemies are dead, or you are dead... A bit of a letdown really, considering rogues for example will most likely be able to PvE quite successfully with their PvP set.

The cost for the items is incorrect, for instance, the GM shoulders cost 14850 not the listed 11800 honour. Is the price on wowhead listed in the upcoming 1.2 patch?

As of entering Arena Season 3 this set is no longer avaible to buy, since has been replaced by Arena Season 1 set that is buyable via honor points+marks

As it has been replaced with the season 1 gear, this gear has actually "moved" and changed name. It is now available if you are honored with Sha'tar, Thrallmar/Honor Hold, Cenarion Expedition, Lower City and the keepers of time.
