I like this as Disc more than holy. Mainly because penance is a single target heal and so is flash heal. In my normal rotation I am casting flash heals when I can’t cast penance and thus the procs happen naturally. I usually refresh my penance 6.5 seconds sooner naturally. This is awesome.

As for holy, this is not so awesome. Circle of healing is AoE and flash heal is single target. So when I am AoE healing, I am not casting Flash Heal, and when I am single target healing, I am not Circle of Healing in a standard rotation. Some may flash heal to spot heal when circle of healing is down, but I find renew to do a much better job due to spec, glyphs, hot mechanics, and spell power coefficents.

Due to the proc mechanics and spell casting times, we are dealing with a 3 second window of opportunity. Since I am usually riding the global cooldown when I heal, I generally clip that window of opportunity by casting a spell that is on my normal rotation. Getting clipped by 1.5 seconds by renew or prayer of mending means I can only cast my circle of healing 1.5 seconds sooner. If I cast prayer of healing, I lose the benefit entirely.

The good thing is that the tier pieces are still my best in slot with or without the set bonus. This isn’t earth shattering for either spec, so I don’t see myself switching specs or gear based on the bonus anyways. I just find it interesting to hear so many people say that the bonus is sexy on paper and then find it near useless out of the box when specced holy.

2-Set is quite nice, quite nice indeed. 4-piece is personal, considering how all have different playstiles, it might sound to you as better than what i would think of it, none the less it will certainly have its uses, since the amount of AoE-damage in ICC seems to go more UP then down... =P

(Disc-priest in 2p+ with This little ugly thing) Thats gonna be some impressive shielding.

Imo Disc will see more benefit from 4p then holy, but still, worth shooting for.
