Doing Blood Elf thing will most likely award boatloads of quests to this achievement, worth trying it out imo.

As of 3.0.2 all Silverpine Forest quests count for the Horde Kalimdor achievement instead of the Eastern Kingdoms one.

Please also note that dungeon quests count towards the total quest number - the entire Scholomance quest chain, Scarlet Monastery quests, Stratholme etc. Repeatable quests after the first turn-in and and seasonal quests do not, however. Neither do class quests and quests under a profession category.

If you're really desperate, there's a quest in Lakeshire, Redridge that horde can complete: Hilary's Necklace. The child that starts it doesn't attack you, but you will be flagged for PvP.

I'm getting there slowly but shorly =)

I have done all the Outland quests, 500 out of the 550 in Eastern Kingdoms without touching some areas, including silvermoon, eversong or ghostlands and 400 out of 700 in Kalimdore.

You will not have a problem finding enough quests to do but yes it will take time even if your max level with epic mount etc.

On the plus side you do get a spiffy title, tabard and lots of faction rep. I was facing the prospect of spending thousands on runecloth to get exalted with thunderbluff, Ogrimmar, Darkspear trolls and UC but after doing the quests I have completed so far I am pretty much there and can sell the runecloth I already have (from questing) for 20g/stack.

You can also do the exploration quests as well at the same time and read up on your lore/ learn more about the game. It has been fun I can say that.

If you feel like you're running out of quests (I went methodically through every quest hub from North to South and started to run short about 510/550)...

- Try searching WoWhead by area for ones you've missed - there are some outside towns that are easily overlooked. I realised that way that I'd missed Tirion Fordring and the Blackwater Raiders in Arathi out completely - an easy 15-or-so extra quests.

- Do all the instance quests - they don't all count towards the title, but some seem to, and many lead on to extra quests, deliveries, etc., which do. It's almost all solo-able (except Uldaman, which I'd recommend grabbing two friends for so you can get The Platinum Discs, since I THINK the follow up quests for that counted towards the total - correct me if I'm wrong), and you can work on Classic Dungeonmaster while you're at it.

- If you're really running short and haven't gotten Loremaster of Kalimdor yet, maybe get to work on that one - A lot of quests (especially delivery ones) hop between both continents, and you might find some quests you pick up in Kalimdor will end in Eastern Kingdoms, and count for the Eastern Kingdoms total.

Logged on after the 3.0.3 patch and found my achievement to be completed. I was probably shy about a dozen quests when I logged the day before.

Obviously, some corrections have been made. My Kalimdor total is unchanged, however.

For those still short a few quests for Eastern Kingdoms, there is a map that drops off the murlocs on the beach in Westfall (Captain Sanders' Treasure Map). There are also a couple quests by the lighthouse at the south end of the beach. These quests can be completed by horde.

This was posted on the Loremaster for Kalmidor site. It also applies to EK. Quests include obscure ones like a line spawning from a cave in the western area of EPL and on the island with the goblin "Statue of Liberty" in Booty Bay. Who knew!

Any quests involving Varimithras in Undercity cannot be completed after the Wrathgate event.

Having done both the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor Loremaster achievements, I have to say that the Eastern Kingdoms one is by far the easier of the two. I received my EK acheivement having done only a few quests in the Blasted Lands and Eastern Plaguelands (although I did most of the ones in the latter anyway to gain Argent Dawn rep), none at all in the Burning Steppes, and having not done any for Stratholme and the Blackrock instances. With Kalimdor, it was down to the wire whether I would have to start doing such things as the AQ scepter or 0.5 gear questlines (thankfully, it didn't quite come to that, but close). With a little research, it's not hard to find enough quests in the EK to finish this easily, without having to resort to going to such Horde-unfriendly places like Westfall or Redridge.

Click this link and change the zone to what you are working on to see which quests start from an item drop. It's very handy to know which mobs you should be looting.

Just wanted to add a few quest someone might have forgotten.
In ZG by the "Fish boss" theres a quest to travel to Nat in Dustwallow Marsh, handel in count as EK quest.
Alsow im sure you did not forget the Horde npc standing between Swamps of Sorrow and Blasted lands, who got a long quest line to do, all EK quest :)

I started the Karazhan att hopeing they whould count, but the 2 first one did not. I dident go any futher on that quest line.

For those like me who was a bit silly and didn't think about the consequences...

Getting the blood sail admiral title leaves you unable to do any steamwheedle cartel quests, I THOUGHT I did the majority of them but I was wrong, So what i've done is I shout in trade Im buying Silk Cloth and to COD it to me via mail (Cash on delivery). I get a steady ammount through my mail each day which will eventually get me the 6200 ish silk cloth needed to get from hated>neutral.

Doesn't have to be a stressful grind if you just buy silk 50silver a stack or something, 1 daily a day covers that which gets mailed to you.

Also, I'd like to add that getting the Title was NOT worth the hassle, This also prevents you being able to get the fishing "Salty" Title, since you need to be neutral at least to participate in the Stv fishing contest.

My advice is to do all this before you get the blood sail title, or to follow the above if you've allready gone ahead and gotten the bloodsail title.

I just passed the 700 quests for Loremaster of Eastern Kingdoms, and I did not receive the achievement. I did a few more quests, currently standing at 705 and i still have not received the achievement. Don't know if its bugged or if i'm missing something.

Yeah, i have the same issue with my Achievement for Eastern Kingdoms. I am currently at 703/700 and quite frustrated that I haven't gotten the achievement pop up yet. An hour to go on the ticket before I no doubt get told it will be fixed sometime 'soon'.....

EDIT seems like you're talking about the alliance version of this achievement (the horde one needs 550 not 700), it's a known issue.. since last patch allies must complete 740 quests in EK but the counter doesn't show that..

A great add-on for this achievement is Carbonite. Basically what it does is gives you a checklist of every quest you can start in a zone. When you do a quest it marks it off the list. It lists all hard to find escorts, rare drops, and out of place quest givers. The only downside is after you download it, you have to mark off the quests your have already completed because it can't track quests before it is installed. Still a great way to go through a zone and see if you missed any quests.

I have completed 561 quests in Eastern Kingdoms.

wish there was a way to follow the quests that you have done and the ones that you havn't done, find myself running around aimlessly trying to find quests that i have completed 4yrs ago... >.<

If you faction change, you will lose your progress on this achievement.

In addition, I lost progress on some Northrend zones, but not the overall Loremaster of Northrend achievement (even though some of the underlying achievements have been taken away).

In addition, again, you will not lose your XXXX Quests Completed achievements, but the overall quest counter will be reset... so if you haven't gotten 3,000 you will be set back quite a bit, even if you still retain the 2,000 quests achievement.

Visit http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info10905-EveryQuest.html and follow the instructions given in the addon description concerning the change with Patch 3.3. (scroll down a little)

After you have done that, use the addon to see where your missing quests are, check on www.wowhead.com/wotlk if needed and finish your loremaster achievement !

Please use the Wowhead Completition tracker. It tracks every quest in every zone and also indicates which quests are incomplete in specific zones.

Also use Carbonite. It makes our life easier, however this is still incredibly long to accomplish.

I dont know if anyone has already posted about this place but i only needed a couple more quests to finish this up and i found them in Arathi Highlands, Faldir's Cove (32, 79). The first one you should come across is Lolo the lookout and his is just to go and talk to Shakes O'Brian. This opens more quests in the area. Hope this is helpful.

So I got the Insane Title but I dont want to lose all the rep i gained for the pirates. Is it possible to get this achievement/'s without doing maybe half of the Goblin quests.
