The watchers required to be kept alive for this achievement can be stunned, but they CANNOT be CC'd by shackles, traps or fears.
The watchers are also standing quite close to the entrance, making kiting difficult and/or pointless.
All three of the watchers have two common abilities:
Infected Bite
- Disease cast on target, deals damage both on hit and on ticks. Should obviously be cleansed immediately.
Web Wrap
- Random target stun, the stun can be removed by attacking the web.
The three watchers special specific abilities are:
Watcher Silthik
-
Poison Spray
- Poisons the entire party, poison cleansing totem is defenitely recommended.
Watcher Narjil
-
Blinding Webs
- Disorients the entire party for 5 seconds. Stuns can (and should) be used to interrupt the cast.
Watcher Gashra
-
Enrage
- Enrages himself, attacking much quicker but slightly weaker. Should be countered by a stun or tranquilizing shot.
Krik'Thir himself frenzies, curses (decursable!) and mind flays, all making this a very challenging achievement.

Just did this with a decent geared group, pala tank, shaman healer, lock mage and enh. shaman dps.
We pulled watchers in this order: Gashra > Silthik > Narjil.
Things to watch out for is the web-wraps, needs to be destroyed asap. Note that you can trinket/blink while you're being netted before you're caught.
The other thing was the disorient. Your tank will likely die in a full duration on your healer, so a trinket or human racial is handy. When you pull the boss it all is up to luck really, just spam those heals and watch out for those wraps while nuking the boss.

completed this tonight with hunter/prot warr/spriest/resto sham/ret pally. basically we kill all the adds except the watchers and the last two and on the last group you cc the 2 small mobs. shackle/repentence whatever. the hunter kites the 3rd watcher with the aoe blind type ability to the start of the isntance. the rest of the group burns the boss down with all cooldowns. it took us a bunch of tries to do it. gl.

Did this in two attempts. Basically just zerged. Group was prot warrior, demo lock, mage, enh shaman, resto druid. Warrior just charged in AoE tanked the adds(shock wave, warstomp rotations) shield walled, and killed the boss. We used lust our previous attempt and didn't want to wait 9 minutes so we went without lust. We died afterwards but got the achievement. Adds were despawned on runback. Most of us are in 3/5 t7 with warrior in 4/5

We completed this tonight by having our paladin-tank pull all the adds together, our warlock aggroing them with an aoe spell, and then kiting them to the entrance while the rest of us nuked the boss. (the two skirmishers were shackled/paladin-feared). took a few tries, but worked fine in the end :)

Brute Force works
Warrior Tank, Holy Paladin, Ret Paladin, 2 x Frostfire Mages
Shockwave > Holy Wrath Stun > Holy Wrath Stun > Shield wall tank them all til boss death.

EDIT: As patch 3.0.8 this does NOT work anymore, you can't get up on the ledge.
I'll leave the text as it is, but unfortunately you'll have to find another way to do this now.
The group I did it with didn't really have the luxury of alot of stuns and we didn't really like the "kite the adds to the door" idea, as we failed horribly with it.
We did however find an awesome spot for our healer to stand.
When you enter the "room" with Krik'thir and his watchers, if you take a look at your right and follow the wall abit, you'll find a spot where you can jump up onto the ledge to the right of the boss and his adds.
We had our healer go up there, and all the way forward so he was standing next to the boss. Our tank then charged in, got healed like crazy, resulting in all adds going for our healer while the rest of the group just zerged Krik'thir.
When the adds reached the healer, he simply just jumped down so the adds had to run all the way around once more, and we finished the boss off before they could reach us.
In other words, we nuked the fu*k out of the boss and won \o/
And yeah, we died horribly afterwards, but adds had despawned when we got back in <3
We also decided to try our way on the next Achievement in this instance,
Hadronox Denied
and completed it without any difficulties.

Succeeded with a kiting strategy today.
Had retro-pally run in bubbled, without causing any aggro, and lock pulling all the mobs from the pally with seeds and shadowfury and running away.

We did this in a very controlled way, setup was:
prot war
feral druid
DK
resto druid
resto shaman
basicaly we used the feral druid to offtank all the watchers while we killed boss. normal adds where killed before boss was pulled obviously, It was nice and slow, altho the setup was abit wierd.

In principle, the 2 best strategies above could be combined. Tried this w/ a prot paladin, holy paladin, hunter, fury warrior and rogue--decided to keep going after 3 wipes:
1) Have a healer run along the ledge on the right side of the room near the boss
2) Have a hunter run in and tease the fight which despawns the adds.
3) Once despawned, have the hunter place an exploding trap at a spot where it won't blow up right away when the adds respawn. This spot should ALSO be in line of sight and near where the healer is standing---healer-tank LoS issues is what caused us to wipe. Positioning here is essential. The trap despawns if the hunter gets too far away from it. (Note: Seed of Destruction works great too if you have a lock instead)
4) Have a paladin run in bubbled and grab all the adds, then drag them into the trap quickly--this will aggro them on to the hunter who can make a quick escape to the entrance and wait there for them and leave the instance or feign death once they get near him to lose aggro. Then he can throw on aspect and help DPSing if needed. Note that healing aggro may pull a few off as they're being kited so a bubble or fade will be useful on the healer. Also Skirmishers can be quite annoying as they randomly pick a target to aggro to. Mark and CC them after the trap goes off if possible.
5) Once the hunter feigns death the adds will be aggro'd onto the healer who is safe for the time being on the ledge and can jump off if they get too close. This buys you a some precious time if needed.
6) As always, tank should keep boss faced away from DPS
It is recommended that this be practiced on regular first, as the pull is quite tricky to pull off and requires excellent positioning. Messing up in regular will not likely cause a wipe and you'll save a lot on repairs. Also consider killing the first boss on reg to get the exact positioning for the trap, tank and healer--again LoS can be an issue and should be resolved beforehand. Once the pull is down, it's pretty much an automatic win.

After plenty of wipes and frustrating mistakes we finally managed to pull it off
We did it with the folliwing setup
Prot Warr(me)
Blood/Unholy mixed DK
Feral Druid(tank)
Holy Pala
Resto Shaman
We decided to tank the 3 watchers and kill their minions and then go for the boss, the reason we kept wiping was because we did it in the wrong order, the right order to pull the watchers is from LEFT>RIGHT. The best way to do it is as following, have the feral druid pull, then let the warrior taunt the first Watcher, and the druid and the other DPS nukes down the 2 adds, make sure u kill the Shadowcaster/Skirmisher first! the Skirmisher has a tendency to instagib your healer if he's not fast enough or someone can get off a stun in time.
Keep it up until you've pulled all 3 watchers, so it should look like this now:
Druid is tanking off the last 2 adds or tanking the boss.
The Warrior is tanking the 3 Watchers
Make sure the Warrior is targeting the spider called "Watcher Narjil", he's the one who disorients your whole party, if it isn't interrupted one of your healers can die and it'll probably wipe the party unless ur lucky, the Web Wrap is not that harmful, you can easily see who is getting webbed and then charge and shield slam it, so save your stuns for the "Blinding Webs" spell cast by "Watcher Narjil" !, Shockwave, Concussion Blow, works wonders! takes a few tries until you got it done smoothly, so keep trying!
Good luck =)

Ok, we have done this really easily and on first try with a plan that I made up and that surprisingly worked.
Group setup:
Prot Paladin ( Me )
Prot Warrior
Holy Priest
Fury Warrior
Unholy Death Knight
I am an engineer so, ive got the rocketboots enchant. The plan was really simple, I kited the 3 watchers to the entrance with rocketboots, while the group killed the boss - The watchers move rrreeeeallly slow, so the boss was dead before the watchers even gotten to me. I could also bubble and re-aggro after, giving us 300% of the time that we actually needed to kill the boss.
Every single achievement in game seems to be easy with rocket boots and a paladin

The Dk offtank is the easiest way to do this achievement. My group has been working towards our Red Proto-drakes and we only have 2 more achievements left.
My group:
Prot Warrior (me)
Ret Paly
BM hunter
Resto druid
Blood DK
We slowly worked our way to the boss, pulling from left to right. Killing 2 adds, keeping the watchers up. We all had our pvp trinkets equipped in case the situation got crazy with disorient. The day before we had tried every other way, just to wipe for 2 hours. Back to the pull, after the 6 adds were dead, I simply shockwaved the 3 watchers as everyone else went on the boss, DK tanked as I kited the 3 watchers to the door, very slow indeed. By the time they got to me the boss was at 30%, then our healer died, 15% our dk died, 4-6% our hunter died, and our ret took him out the rest of the way. We were all very happy. Now we're just stuck on

We tried a whole host of the strategies listed, and when we came up with the best one for us, we almost /facepalmed at how smoothly it went.
Our group consisted of a tankadin (myself), resto shammy, spriest, mage and fury warr. Everyone except me is in a mix of T7 10 and 25 man gear, with myself in mostly 10 man gear (prot is my offspec).
We started the event by pulling the left group. We killed the adds, focusing on the skirmisher first (I would Holy Wrath when the mobs first got to me, and once the stun wore off I would use Hammer of Justice - by the end of the HoJ the skirmisher would be dead), then the caster. We would then wait for the next group to come automatically, as we had a few attempts where I pulled early due to our speed, and the third group would add on the boss' yell, causing a wipe.
If you're lucky, the second group will be the middle one. Again, kill the skirmisher first, then the warrior. If your second group is the right one (the only group without a skirmisher), that's ok - you just need to CC the skirmisher in some way (pally fear, shackle, entangling roots or frost trap all work) when you move on to the boss. Anyway, kill the second group you get, doing the most dangerous mob first (skirmisher/spell caster), then the other non-watcher.
After you kill the second group, you engage the boss immediately. You need a designated 'stunner' in your group to focus the watcher on the far right, and stun him (through macros) when he goes to cast 'Blinding Webs', which is his disorient ability). In any case, you go onto the boss, and off-tank all 3 watchers + any adds in the last group that aren't CC'd. You simply burn the watcher, with your stunner ready to use their stuns on the disorient watcher if it goes to cast Blinding Webs. For our group, this was me, as I could cast Holy Wrath the first time, then Hammer of Justice the second time. I ended up throwing another Holy Wrath out near the end of the fight as the boss was almost dead and I wanted to ensure our victory.
Sure enough, the boss died and we got our achievement. We actually survived the encounter too, seeing as the only mobs up were the skirmisher we had shackled (which we left up until the mini bosses were down) and the three watchers.
I believe this is the best way to do it; as you eliminate a huge amount of the incoming dps, as well as the main problem in this encounter (the disorient, which is removed through the allocation of a stunner role).

No matter what strategy ive tried listed here, just can seem to do this
When we have our healer stand on the ledge and get heal aggro
a few thing happen
Either
A) caster mobs stand downstairs and cast on healer, 2 shotting him
B) healer gets 99% of them but maybe 1 or 2 will stay downstairs, i think usually skirmishers and just run around and kill 2-3 people before going up (they aren't using any aoe just attacking boss)
C) adds will go up but right as they get up past the bend ( at the tree pillar thing where you jump up onto the ledge) 1-4 mobs instantly charge the healer and kill him from a mile away
D) Watcher is upstairs or almost upstairs and poison spits and everyone dies a few seconds later
Healer jumping down seems to only extend his life by about 4 seconds as the adds quickly run back down and kill him.
all the dps are doing between 1200-1600 each
what were doing:
We all start out at the most right part of the ledge behind the boss.
i jump down and engage the boss.
dps waits about .5 seconds and jumps in with me to start DPS
healer spams heals to get aggro
A , B, C, or D happens.

Finally did this, took two nights of attempts
Our group set-up:
Frost DK tank (Me)
Unholy DK
Frostfire Mage
Elemental Shaman
Resto Shaman.
We tried all the methods above, from abusing the ledge, to kiting, to killing the 6 adds and then engaging the boss, yet nothing seemed to work, finally we decided just to aggro the boss straight up and tank all 3 watchers + 6 adds.
The Unholy DK made his ghoul pet "stay" near the resto shaman, if he got web wrapped, he would use /tar web and petattack macro to take it down.
Both me and the Unholy DK popped "Army of the Dead" before engaging, as soon as I pulled, bloodlust was used, and both earth elemental totems, and then we burned the boss HARD and tanked the rest.
The thing that will screw you up is one of the watchers will do BINDING WEB and disorient everyone for 5 seconds. Everyone needs to have their PvP trinkets equipped and used immediately once it happens. He'll only use it once before the boss is dead.
This fight revolves simply around a lot of luck. The skirmishers will drop aggro and constantly charge other people, pray that it's not your healer. The watchers will randomly web wrap people, pray that it's not your healer. At the end the boss was at 10% health and I still died due to an ill-timed web wrap on our resto shaman and me having no pots/cooldowns left, but we managed to barely burn the boss and finish it up.
Good luck!

It still works, but need a little bit of change
have ur tank stand in adds range, and have a hunter MD boss on the tank.
once the hunter pull healr start spaming heals. NOTE : the healer should LOS the adds, so they will run AROUND.
once u see the adds are starting to run up to the healer (if u have flying combat text, it will say "Changed target") tank jump down taunt the boss pew pew and kill it.
we got him to 60k left yesterday, but our hunter forgat to replace from aspect of viper, those we lacked the dps the whole fight :(

We tried everything from standing on the ledge to using Shield Wall and burning him down. While those can work, we found a MUCH easier method. Here is a way to make this achievement easy mode. 8)
What you need/should bring:
Swiftness Potion
Protection Paladin/Warrior main tank.
Off-tank (anything that can tank Krik'thir, we used a DPS Death Knight.)
The rest of the composition doesn't matter too much as long as you have the obvious 2x DPS and 1x Healer. Engage the first pack on the left and kill them as you would normally. Once that pack is dead, without wasting any time pull the second pack in the middle. You should be having absolutely no trouble. Pull the third pack and focus the Shadow Caster. Make sure your back isn't turned to any spiders as you lose a massive amount of damage mitigation + enrage on second boss = dead tank.
Right after you kill the Shadow Caster use your Shock Wave (Warrior) or Holy Wrath (Paladin) to stun the remaining four mobs. (Three watchers and the last warrior that was pulled in the third pack.) Chug your Swiftness Potion and run to the entrance of the instance. When you stun the off-tank should immediately pull Krik'thir and start burning. The spiders move at a very slow pace and will probably reach you at the entrance when Krik'thir is around 25-50% depending on your dps. Pop Shield Wall and last stand and prepare to Shockwave, let them bunch up. Run again kiting them when they're stunned but this time downwards back towards the group.
By the time you reach your group the boss should be long dead and you should have your achievement.
Cheers!

Completed this achievement after several different strategies.
Group was me (FFB mage) UhDK Fdrood Hpally and BMhunter
plan worked pretty well considering minimal dps cooldowns, as i was kiting, and no heroism.
druid charged the boss then i would blizzard causing aggro on all of the adds. The druid have enogh hp to take the hits while the healer waited til the adds were safely kited away and then proceeded to heal the tank
kited them back to the entranced, before iceblocking. then once they run back, lance one, and they all turned around and came back. just nova'd after that, giving my other dps crew plenty of time to kill the boss and get the achievement done.
Now that the ledge is fixed, this seems to me to b the only viable way for a healing specc'd person to get the achievement. we tried an all out nuke but the web wraps and disorients cause our tank to die, or the healer just gets agro of the casters. Also a bit of luck on our part with the skirmishers charging me.
good luck with your red drakes :)

I tried this achievement several different ways, spending more than 1 hour overall wiping. Finally found a way to do it with a group of people which are not that well geared (gear from Heroics and badges).
What we did was:
Four people were standing high on the ledge to the right of the boss, keeping their max distance (hugging the wall). It is pretty easy to find a way to climb up there.
Druid aggroed all the watchers and their "bodyguards", turned into cat, and dragged them to the entrance. It is important here for the team to wait for all the adds to go into tunnel, otherwise it is possible to steal aggro from the kiter.
The remaining team jumped down from the ledge and nuked the boss. Our DPS was not that good, but still we managed to down the boss before adds have returned. Not sure if the kiter should tag the boss for getting the achievement done, but what our druid did was - he kited the watchers to the entrance, went outside the instance, then returned and reached and tagged the boss right before its death.

We tried several times to just DPS down the adds, hold the watchers, and kill the boss, but with all the CC, it's just impossible, it seems.
We tried the kite method and it worked like a charm on the first shot!
Our group:
Fury Warrior
Enhancement Shaman
Ret Paladin
Prot Warrior
Holy Paladin
Everyone but the Ret Paladin stood on the ledge to the right of the boss and the watchers and the Ret Paladin ran in, bubbled, used a Righteous Fury Holy Wrath on all the adds once they were bunched up and started kiting them down the hallway with the aid of an Earthbind Totem the shaman left for him at the boss entrance. Right after the Ret Pally's Holy Wrath, the tank aggro'd the boss and the Fury Warrior and Enhancement Shaman tore him down quickly, obviously with the aid of BL.
The adds came back and wiped us, but we all got the achievement. Even the Ret Paladin who was at the instance entrance dead got it...he just didn't get to loot the boss. :)

My group did this tonight with two hunters misdirecting to one in the tunnel while laying an explosive trap down to gain more aggro on the adds.
Hunter one pulled and hunter two MDed the left hand side to him, rocket booted up the tunnel and FD. Tank jumped in while the hunter was kiting and the other hunter and I just burnt him down no problem at all.
They did train back and we died but we're one step closer to our drakes!

A more bruteforce way to do this achievement:
Group:
Prot Warrior
Ret Pala
Holy Pala
Assassination Rogue
Blood DK
(all but DK naxx10/25 geared, very few blues)
Simple Strat: Stunlock!
Warrior charges in, stuns all 3 addpacks with Shockwave, first pala follows with holy wrath, second pala also holywrath and in between holywrath stuns, DK pulls out those taunt-ghouls (not really necessary).
Holy Pala also uses his bubble for healing the very first moment he has aggro from something, same goes for retpala so he can dps without dying.
Warriro uses shieldwall+last stand and possible trinkets the second all stuns are used up.
Other than that, everyone MAX DPS the boss and ignore adds.
Took us 2 tries, very easy but pretty stupid^^

Popped all my cooldowns(Lichborne, UA, IBF, and the +armor from Seal of the Pantheon), made sure I had a ghoul up to sacrifice for health, Bloodlust and GO. Mage was the last one up @ 2% orso, got him down eventually. Awesome achievement to do, the adrenaline rush is awesome. :D

Ok our setup:
Holy Priest
Demonology Warlock
Enhancement Shaman
Protection Warrior
Beast Mastery Hunter
Our first 2 hours was to pick up the Watchers one by one but we ended up with healer got low mana when we engaged the main boss, since the debuff is a pain in the ass, also we didn't have a shaman so the poison was tough aswell. This didn't work at all and read one comment here and tried it 2 times and boss down and we got the achievement.
The good way to get this:
Tank goes directly on the boss and AoE nuke all adds to keep aggro for the healer. The healer just spam heal the tank and some AoE heal just for some small poison dmg, Shaman use Poison Cleansing Totem and Heroism and the boss was down in some seconds. Everyone DPS the boss and skip adds at all, this will cause a whipe when the boss is down. But who the FCK care, achievement ! :DD::DD:D:

Our strategy is simple. We do it in normal way just like usual, but let warrior B tank all three watchers. After all mobs except 3 watchers got killed, warrior A pull Boss and dps him. The point is cure disease (ret-pal) and cure poison (shm totem) fast while break the web asap. I use grid and set debuff name so i can see the web and break it very fast. Any stun skill is usful against this fight especially Holy Wrath and Shockwave as they stun all.

This might sound a little weird, but it's a combination of a few strategies we read on wowhead here...
Hunter
Hunter
Death Knight
Paladin (Tank)
Shaman (Resto - me)
So we started off with the
DK / Shaman / 1 Hunter on ledge
(as described in previous posts here... the ledge is a spot is to the right side as you enter the room). From here is where the weirdness starts. So we discovered that by the
hunter not on the ledge pulling the boss
and then feigning death it will despawn the boss and the adds for ~20-30 seconds.
Once they are de-spawned the hunter then lays down his AoE fire trap in the middle of the room. At this point he goes back into the tunnel mouth and awaits the pull. The paladin at this point stands where the watchers spawn (
DO NOT AGGRO STAND IN AGGRO RANGE OF BOSS
), and when the adds spawn they naturally go after the paladin.
The paladin then bubbles and does his magic to pull the adds over the flame trap... at which point they rush after the hunter waiting in the tunnel. Now the hunter turns tails and with the help of a frost trap kites the adds to the instance entrance at the top of the tunnel. Now that the watchers and the adds are busy chasing after the hunter, the paladin runs in and pulls the boss ( who at this point hasn't been aggro'd yet ).
Now the DK jumps down and starts DPS on boss, I pop heroism and begin chain casting heals and spamming poison cleansing totem, and the hunter on the ledge starts nuking the boss. By the time the adds got down they were all rushing towards me. Once they were about halfway on the ledge ( the dps was kinda slow ), the paladin BoP'd me which caused all but the casters to run down to the paladin ( the casters weren't anything chain grounding totems couldn't handle ).
So at about the same time the adds reached the paladin tank, BAM we were spamming the achievement in guild chat!
Here are images I've included to help with the locations we used ( while wiping on this we had been wishing some of the previous posters had included images to help describe it, but we figured it out after a few deaths...):

Paladin Tank
Elem Shaman
Mage
rogue
Holy Priest (me)
Did this the other night, all 3 DPS had about 2Kish DPS. Everyone but the mage and paladin jumped up on the cliff to your right as you face the watchers, we walked to the back near the boss watchers. As the Paladin charged the boss the mage pulled the adds with Blizzard, the watchers are immune but the ADDS are not but the watchers walk slow. As the Paladin charges the Shaman and rogue rushed to the boss and went to town, pop all their CD's and Heroism.
I stayed on the cliff healing them, when the boss called the mini's they of course jumped me but I just took them down with 1 or 2 Holy novas. The mage got caught and died early, his plan was to ice block and come help us when they got too close as he ran for the zone. The watchers and adds went straight for me going up the cliff, I then (as a NE priest) shadow-melded, fade can probably work just as well but I wanted to be safe. As I started healing the tank again they turned back and went right at me again, so when they got near I jumped down off the cliff which made them have to turn around and come at me. they did kill me but I was able to keep the tank and DPS alive long enough in spirit form to finish off the boss, and the watchers and adds just disappeared and we got our achievement.

DK Tank (myself), Feral Druid, Resto Druid, Shadow Priest, Elemental Shaman.
After some trial and error, I came up with this unorthodox strat:
I summon my ghoul, huddle him, and have him leap into the middle watcher pack. All watchers/adds converge on the ghoul, I think Death and Decay on top of everything and immediately pop into unholy presense and run to the zone in. On the way, CoI any Skirmishers that charge you. When they all get to you, IBF and Bone Shield, and start summoning the army for more mitigation. By that time Gatewatcher should be dead.

Just got the achievement after several attempts and different strategies using a kiting technique with the Warlock demonic circle.
Group setup was :
Druid (Feral, Tank)
Death Knight (Blood, Dps)
Rogue
Paladin (Holy, Healer)
Warlock (Demonology)
Basically, all the group except the Warlock (me) went on the ledge ready to jump and engage the boss. I placed a demonic circle out of the boss room in the access ramp from where you can see the mobs but can't jump because of a sort of invisible wall. I then started the fight by placing a corruption seed on the middle pack, got it detonated with the Felguard and a Shadow burn, and immediatly teleported out of sight. I ran to the entrance (without exiting), died stupidly, and got credited for the achievement since the group was burning the boss down meanwhile.
My talent build (Felguard and Shadow burn) certainly helped but I think any Warlock can't manage to detonate the seed and teleport quickly enough to allow the group to kill the boss.

We tried this today, and after some tries decided to go with the kiting strategy. I (the healer) stood on the edge and healed from there. At some point I got overwhelmed by the small bugs and the Watchers where coming back (already running up the ledge), so I jumped of the edge to buy some more time. Suddenly (Krik'thir was at 16%), the boss and the Watchers just despawned.
Does anyone know what happened there? I fear I did something silly to make them evade and reset the encounter...

For those who are reading through all this strategies and ticking them off one by one as you keep wiping, heres a few hints, that me and my group both picked up when doing it (now successively done this with 2 different setups)
1. zerg / tank all / nuke doesnt work without insane luck.
I credit any group that tried that strategy and did it, because we failed miserably over and over again. Adds pouring out CC and immense damage on the tank, not to mention the random aggro adds running around nuking your DPS.
2. Find someone who can kite.
Kiting is by far the best strategy for this boss, Weve done it with both a hunter and a feral druid kiting, both reasonable successful. Dont be disheartened when you pull the boss and mobs come back from the kiter, this happened to us on both kills, your tank has to pick them up and just keep nuking (hiding out of LoS buys you extra time). Hiding on the ledge as mentioned above helps you stay OOC during the pull, its just a matter of timing. Have your kiting, aggro all three packs and run asap, get round the corner out of LoS, and your tank needs to use his own judgement of when to pull, we found it best to pull just as the last pack was running away.
3. Use consumables/pots.
We wiped on 15k hp several times, potions of speed and other pots help with DPS, and can ensure that last little bit goes down.
ANother good trick if you have both a warlock and hunter, is to pre-summon the hunter next to the boss area, and after kiting the hunter can FD and accept the summon, and help finish the nuke :)

We tried the "shockwave+run+offtank" method, and it almost worked, just needed some fine tuning and a better timed bloodlust... should work next time!
Edit: Got it first try with 4 members of a top 5 guild, I shockwaved the adds and hauled ass to the portal while a frost DK tanked the boss, and it worked so well, I don't remember if we even had bloodlust.

Simple way to do this is to have your tank take off some of his gear to lower his HP then put it back on right before pull and then charge in. The healer will heal and get threat on everything and take off for the beginning of the instance and kite everything away. The tank will obviously do what he needs to do to keep himself up (shield wall etc) and dps will pop every CD they got and burn him down. Having a pally healer and bubbling when you get to the entrance is probably best and will buy you more time but isn't necessary. As long as the kiting is good and the dps is good you can do this without even getting the blind effect from the gatewatcher.
We tried all the ways listed here and what I just said is how we ended up beating it. Took us only 1 try with the way I described.
If you're curious of our group comp, it wasn't anything crazy.

Here's a video of my group successfully performing this strat. The quality is rather poor so you might not get much out of it, but hopefully it will be of some use.

A short video of my group completing the Watch Him Die achievement in Azjol-Nerub. Here's our group comp:
2 Blood Death Knights
1 Ret Paladin
1 Holy Paladin
1 Prot Warrior
This achievement can be very difficult depending on how you attempt to do it, but we found an excellent strategy on WoWHead that makes it relatively easy.
Along the right side of the room when you're facing the boss there's a ledge running along the wall which goes all the way back to the area where the boss stands. The healer needs to run up on to this ledge and wait for the tank to pull. The healer should stand behind the pillar on the ledge so that he's LOSing the casters, but in such a way that he'll still be able to
pull
heal the tank.
The tank runs in, pulling all mobs at once, and all DPS pops any available cooldowns right away to ensure the boss dies as fast as possible. Once the healer starts healing, the adds should start running across the room towards him. If he's standing in the right spot (far enough back on the ledge), they will not be able to go directly to him but will instead run to the back of the room and then along the ledge in the same manner the healer did to get up. This buys the group a lot of time. When the adds get too close (bare in mind that they charge), the healer jumps down off the ledge, which will cause the adds to run back around the ledge in order to get to him. By the time they arrive at the healer, the boss should be nearly dead.

Probably one of the more harder heroic achievements to get. Here's how I did it:
Bring a druid along, does not matter the spec, as long as you have a druid who is willing him to sacrifice himself. As you enter into the first boss's lair, kill the first mob. Everyone will hug the right there will be a larger stone that you can walk up onto a ledge all the way to the boss. It's a bit hard to get on top but the whole group should be on there except the druid.
Once the whole group is ready the druid will go into cat form quickly rally up all the 3 groups that are in front of the boss and drag them away. Once the druid and mobs are out of sight, you will be able to see them from the ledge. You can jump down and start fighting the boss. Make sure you are NOT in battle when the druid drags them away otherwise the squirmisher will come back and one-shot your whole team.
The boss is very easy to defeat. 5 secs of fighting him he was already half life. It is very important you have your healer on the ledge healing the whole time. Because the mobs will eventually one-shot your druid once he gets to the end of the entrance and they will rush back to your healer. However they will climb the ledge and all your healer will have to do is jump down and they will have to run all the way back down to get him. This buys your group an extra 5-10 seconds of fighting the boss.
Summary:
1) Bring a druid.
2) Bring good DPS.
3) Have druid rally up all 3 groups infront of boss in cat form and use dash.
4) Jump from the ledge on the right side of the room except the healer.
5) DPS boss down fast.
6) Once druid reaches end have him switch to bear form just to last a little bit longer.
7) Adds will rush back after killing druid and go to ledge, healer jumps down.
8) Boss should be dead by then.
9) Everyone gets achievement.
If you are curious my group makeup was:
Unholy DK tank.
Combat Rogue.
Ret Pally.
Resto Shaman (me)
Resto Druid (he did the kiting to the entrance)
Bring the top DPS'ers in your guild.

The problem of me and my group is, that every time we kite the adds towards the entrace they start to head back to the boss when were burning him. Note: were starting to burn as soon as the ads are out of LOS.
group setup:
hunter (kiting)
combat rogue (me)
fury warrior (tanking boss)
elemental shaman
discipline priest
any suggestions what were doing wrong?

Just did it with a funky strategy.
Prot Paladin aggroed all 9 mobs, bubbled and ran into a Death and Decay which I (Blood DK) had placed on the floor nearby. I had already run halfway to the top of the corridor leading to the entrance by the time I caught aggro. As soon as i caught aggro, the paladin pulled the boss and carried him next to the pillars, as far back as possible. He was dpsed down. I died at the top of the instance after having tanked without heals for around 10 seconds. The mobs started running back. By the time they reached the rest of the group, the Rogue and Warlock had brought the boss down :)
Really hard and fun achievement. Took us around 10 tries.

did this tonight...tried a few diffrent strats...group make up was me t7.5 decked resto druid t7.5 decked lock t7.5 enhance shaman t7.5 ele shaman and a heroic geared tank.....
first strat we tried was the ledge strat...where the healer sits on the ledge to the right of the boss..and the objective is to have everyone start nuking the boss and the adds would run to the druid and they only run up the left side so if ur all the way on the right u should have time to watch and jump down and kite the for a short time...well few flaws...flaw 1 is if ur not a paladin ur gonna get gaped by the shadow casters...flaw 2 the skermishers randomly target people and when this happens its most likely a dps and then they drop cause it'll be 2 diffrent people prolly and even if it was 1 u can't heal a non tank very well....so after trying that and seeing dps die to skrmishers or me to the casters we tried the run in sheild wall ae taunt and nuke strat...well works good for about 10 sec..then once again the skrimishers will rape someone....after that happened a few times we looked to the old skool strat...after adapting it and preforming it it seems like the best way to do this...step 1 pull the groups left to right killing skirmishers first if u have a shaman in group poison clense down at all times it doesn't do a ton of damage but when all the mobs are on ur tank u can't be dispelling...step 2 make sure ur tank gets the dieasie off of him that will wipe u...step 3 prior to pull anyone with a stun should set the far right watcher to their focus after all adds are dead start on the boss ofc...keep that watcher stuned the aoe blind is what was killing us with the oldskool method even though it was the most fruitful..if u keep him stuned its pretty much a gg we tried this one time and down him...
gl with getting ur mounts :D

heres a Super easy way to do this achievement I thought of Basicly class balance really shouldnt matter to much but, my group make up was:
DK Tank
Elemental Shaman (he was healing) but could use any healer, him being Elemental had nothing to do with it
Mutilate rogue (myself)
Feral Druid
Ret Paladin
basicly what we did was i Popped Tricks of the Trade on the Ret pally, he ran up near the zone in DK ran in aggroed everything, Soon as he had everything in a small group, i Popped Fan of Knives, and ALL Mobs ran to the Ret paladin at the zone in, We popped heroism and then burned him down before the mobs even got to the paladin at the zone in.

Shadow Priests FTW!
Here's an interesting strat. My group did it on our test run to see if it was possible.
It works around the mechanics of Fade. Fade lowers the priest threat amount by something like 8000000. After Fade is done, that threat is returned.
Here's how to do it:
1. It's very helpful to have someone capable of a ground slow (Hunter's freeze trap, Shaman's Earthbind totem). They place them right at the bottom of the hill in the place.
2. The tank runs in and grabs all nine mobs by proximity, and should have a PW: Shield and such to not take too much damage.
3. Once close enough, the priest (preferably shadow, I'll say why in a few steps) picks a non-watcher to mind sear, let's it hit all mobs once, then DoT's the non-watcher, turns and runs for dear life up to the entrance.
4. Once at the top (or before you start getting pummeled), Fade. The mobs will turn back down. But before they make it, fade drops and they turn around and come back to you. Once they start attacking, dispersion gives 6 more seconds.
Once we tried to see if it worked, and actually got the big guy dead with no cooldowns or the such. Of course then the watchers went down and wiped the group horridly, but hey you gotta break eggs to make an omelette.

EDIT: I don't know my totems...this one is right though

Since 3.08 all strategies that involve kiting back to the entrance do not seem to work. We tried it tonight (patch night) and the encounter resets when the watchers leave the room.

We Just completed this tonight using 2 tanks and kiting. When the Watchers leave the main area they do NOT reset. I don't know what the problem was with heleth above but again, they do not reset. Our group makeup was:
Tank - Death Knight
Tank - Prot Warrior
DpS - Ret Paladin
DpS - Mage
Healer - Resto Shaman (me)
We pulled the 3 groups 1 at a time, killing both adds and placing the Watcher on the DK. Then we'd pull the 2nd group, kill both adds, and put the Watcher on the DK. Same with third group, kill both adds and 3rd Watcher on the DK. Then the Warrior hit his cone stun and the DK started running for the beginning of the instance while the Warrior started the fight with the Boss. The Ret Paladin then AoE stunned the 3 Watchers while the DK was just rounding the corner heading up the ramp and then the Pally joined the burn run. I popped Bloodlust and then added a War Stomp to the 3 Watchers as they walked by. By now the DK is almost up to the start of the instance and the 3 Watchers ran after him while we burned down the boss. By the time the 3 Watchers reached the DK he had his Army of the Dead waiting for them and he popped Icebound Fortitude and tried to survive as long as possible to give us time to kill the boss. By the time he died the boss died at the same moment (so this technique had given us about 30sec more than we'd really needed) and we were able to bandage up, heal up, and then take care of the 3 Watchers as they came towards us.
However, again, as of 45min ago (patch 3.0.8) Kiting the Watchers out of the main room is still possible, it's the adds that reset. I would like to add however that the ramp method might have been fixed. It seemed impossible to jump onto any of the ledges as if an invisible wall had been patched in. I only spent about 30sec trying to get up there just to check if we could do it easy mode style without using both tanks, but after being unable to walk around to behind the boss I gave up. I could get on the ledge, but as it started to curl behind the boss I would get pushed off by an invisible wall every time.
While it seems redundant to bring 2 tanks, if you make a group and go for difficult Achievements such as this one and the "Share the Love" out of Gun'Drak you can take care of 2 difficult ones in 1 group. Hope this helps.

Post 3.08
This now looks to be one of the hardest achievements. There is an invisible wall
blocking
the old route to use the kiting method around the side of the room. Also you can no longer kite back to the exit, as the boss despawns.
Some of our group already had the achi, but as others didn't we needed a new tactic. We used a simple tactic of pulling everything and DPSing the boss really hard. It was a hard nuke, with chaos caused by adds, web wraps etc. Having a holy pally to bubble himself and keep healing helped a lot.
In its new 3.08 form, this is probably a harder "DPS race" achievement than Volazj's Quick Demise.
We did use brute force though, someone else might find a better way.

With 3.0.8 you can no longer jump up the ledge as there is an invisible wall. Additionally you can not kite (bubble run) the Watchers up to the entrance and have the kiter leave the instance as it will despawn Krik'thir.
In the end we kited 2 packs up to the entrance with a paladin. Our hunter MD the middle pack, while he got the left one. I (DK) took the last pack on the way to the boss. Nuked him down.
Dk, Hunter, Priest, Shaman, Paladin.

Hi
Did this today reasonably easily with a little tweaking.
Groups setup
Feral Druid (Tanking)
Fearl Druid (Tanking/Kiting)
Boomkin (DPS)
Resto Druid (Healing)
Elemental Shaman (DPS)
as you can see our class diversity was not brilliant however we still managed it.
things of note
-3.08 changed mean that the adds not the watchers reset when you take them out of the room
-the right watcher is the most annoying
-skirmisters can easily screw you over so have bash shockwaves hammer of justice ready
to start with pull normally and have one tank pick up the adds and the other (kiter) pick up first watcher,
same again for the second group;
however for the third group (right) the watcher does a very annoying disorientate causing lost of aggro killing healer or disorientating healer losing tank situations begin to arise tanking them in the corner of the bosses room,
so its not practial to kill the adds leaving the third watcher time to kill your healer so have the tank, tank these adds along with the boss,
it is also not good to have your offtank tank the watchers in range of the healer
so to over come this the kiter tank takes the 3 watchers to the start of the instances and pops cooldowns to keep alive for aslong as possible if lucky the disorientate will cause the kiter too lose aggro at the top before he dies and the mobs will begin to return to the bosses room however when the disorientate fades aggro should be restored and they will come back too you allowing extra time to dps the boss.
as the kiter it was useful for the boomkin or the shaman to knock the wathcers away as i began kiting as i could change to cat and dash up towards the entrance
shamans are awesome for this the earth bind, heroism , posion cleaning, diease cleanign totems are awesome and elemental shamans also help reduce the amount of damage the kiter takes.

Did this a couple days ago with the following group.
3 DKs (1 tank, 1 in tank gear)
1 Healadin (Me)
1 Rogue
Have the best geared DK tank stand in the hallway leading to the entrance.
Paladin runs in and gathers all 3 watcher groups with Divine Shield up.
Rogue runs in, Tricks of the Trade on the DK in the hallway. Fan of Knives the whole pile.
Other DK tank runs in and starts tanking the boss. Everyone else burns the crap out of him. If more time is needed when the first DK hits the entrance, AoD is a viable method of buying some time, as well as IBF of course.

Did this last night with a tankadin, spriest(me), resto shaman, enhance shaman, and warlock. We didn't use any zerg techniques, kiting, or aoe stun strategies. The Paladin tanked everything.
Pull the watchers 1 at a time. Gashra first because it is literally no threat. Then Silthik - healing gets harder here because of the poison spray. Cleanse immediately. Lastly Narjil - easily the most threatening one because of the aoe blind. As for the adds, kill skirmishers, shadow casters, warriors in that order.
Each watcher has a web wrap ability.
Priority has to be on breaking the web wraps
. Make a macro to
/tar web
and use an instant cast. Right after the first aoe blind from Narjil pull the boss and
group up
. Grouping up helps because web wraps can break to aoe and at this point you will have 3 at a time. I used holy nova to break wraps and kill the insects that zerg out from the water. Also a perfectly timed SW:D can break a wrap on yourself. We had our paladin stun Narjil whenever he tried to cast blind. This
DOES
interrupt it but shocks/silence do not. From here you drop a bloodlust/heroism and burn the boss down.

Did this today with:
Prot Warrior
Fury Warrior
BM Hunter
Enhancement Shaman
Holy Paladin
Shaman and hunter drop Earthbind and Explosive Trap on top of each other at the mouth of the room, everyone but the hunter stands over to the right near where you used to jump onto the ledge.
Hunter shoots each watcher with some shots, and runs away towards the entrance. Down the boss before they get back.
Simple.
Just make sure you generate
no threat
till the adds are far enough away. No heals, no beacons/minor buffs, no bloodrages, no totems, no shouts, nothing.

This was definitely the hardest achieveent in AN as of 3.0.8
Since we found it impossible to get up on the ledge, we said screw it and zerged the boss
Did it with:
Frost DK (tank)
Unholy DK
resto druid
marks hunter
FFB mage (me)
We're all in full or almost full epics, with the majority of us having 4/5 t7 and several 7.5 pieces.
Hunter pulled with misdirect. DK was pre-hotted by druid. DK used his Hungering Cold and Lichborne to stay alive as long as possible and kept aggro on everything with D&D. Resto druid didn't heal anybody else except the tank. Everyone else just burst dps'd him. We trinketed out of web wraps or the aoe disorient if we got them.
Tank died, and eventually so did the rest of us but we killed him before succombing to adds. DBM records the fight as being 31 seconds. I'd only recommend this strat if you have lots of good DPS. A safer way to do the fight would just be to bring two healers and take out the non-watcher adds one at a time.

My guild and I tried this one tonight without much success. Seeing as how they nerfed the ledge hax, we had to try it without any kind of explots. Everything we tried, from having someone aggro the boss, then RUN to the entrance, while the tank taunts the boss off of him and everyone else tries to blow him up, to having our feral druid tank (me) go up and slowly engage 1 group at a time, keeping only the watchers alive failed. The last strategy, engaging each pack solo and making sure the watchers stay alive, might have worked, but I got wrapped on the 3rd watcher, with 2 of them beating on me, and all 5 of the ones left alive (2 previous watchers + the group of 3 i barely pulled) went after our healer, killed him and then we wiped. It really seems to be up to a lot of luck. As long as anyone but the tank gets webbed, the dps can free them quick enough to not have a huge impact. But, if the tank gets webbed.. yeah.

So, as of 3.0.8, the small adds reset when leaving the room? Could someone explain a little more clearly what this means for the kiting strategy? Some posts suggest the typical 'kite to the front' works fine, others suggest killing small adds, and kiting the 3 watchers to the front only works. Any clarifications?

DK Tank, Elemental Shammy, Arcane Mage, Rogue, Shadow Priest
We did it through sheer brute force. Tank used army and all his cooldowns to stay alive and we just lusted and burned the boss down. We all died afterward but we got the achievement done. Everyone pulled of 3k+ dps (with the mage sustaining 7k for the encounter). The only healing we had was through the spriest's VT and we killed the boss before any web wraps or the blinding web.

As one of the many Red Proto-Drake chasers this achievement was also on my list to do.
After trying several tactics from here I came up with my own:
Mainly because the ledge got fixed in 3.0.8.
Here's what our group consisted of:
- Tankadin (Me)
- DK Tank
- Healadin
- Hunter
- Enhancement Shaman
And here's what we did:
I positioned myself right in front of the boss having an equal distance between me and all the watchers. Just enough to pick either one to toss my Avenger's Shield at. Then I told the DPS and the Boss tank to go down into the pool of water on the right side of the room (under the ledge). The all were underwater.
When everyone except the hunter and me was in the puddle I had the hunter MD pull (with multishot) the right watcher and his group. I myself pulled the middle group with Avenger's Shield and the left group I pulled the Watcher with Hand of Reckoning. The hunter had put a frost trap behind me (at the entrance of the room/end of the tunnerl) and I layed down a consecration to for extra aggro. As soon as I did my pulls I went running for the entrance. Laying down consecration's along the way. The hunter FD'ed to make sure he didn't pull aggro of me by accident while they weren't in the tunnel yet.
When I had all mobs on me the rest of the party charged in popped bloodlust and all CD's. By the time I had all adds on me witch I stalled a bit with Holy Wrath and 50% damage reduction I already got the message he frenzied. Then I died because of the webwrap. Then they head back but the boss was dead before the adds could mess it up.
Things to keep in mind:
- Don't heal anybody before adds are solid on the 2nd tank.
- Make sure that your two DPS can actually dish out 2.5k+ DPS with bloodlust and cooldowns.
- Don't be afraid to blow your cooldown's that goes for everyone.
- Be sure to cleanse yourself as you kite it saves you some hp.
Things untrue:
- Normal adds reset when out of the room.
They probly aggroed someone else then kiter happened on our first tries too that's why we used the puddle.
Thus rewarding us with this achievement and a fat repair bill from all the previous tries. The following strategie was tried 1 time and was succesful at the first go. I'll see later if I can repeat it. The hardest part of this achievement is actually making sure you take all the adds with you if you succeed at that you're basically settled if your dps is good.
Hope this helps all you Red-Proto Drake Hunters.
Cheers Liyanna - Ghostlands (EU)

Have a thought I'd like peoples' opinions on: could a warlock lay down a demonic circle in the boss room, pull the mobs up the tunnel, then warp back to the circle when they are right on top of him? That way he could kite the mobs and then pop back to do some damage before they chase him down.
I don't know much about the mechanics of demonic circle, so maybe this wouldn't be as effective as getting a hunter or something to kite and slow them.

Shadow Priest (me)

Enh Shaman
Demo/Destro Warlock
All well geared, 10/25 man epics. Wall of text incoming!
We tried the zerg tactic, got him to around <10% a couple of times, but it was pretty hectic and dependant on luck with the webs (not to mention the skirmishers stabbing people).
We ended up doing a more controlled strat, where we pulled the left group, killed the skirmisher and caster adds, then pulled the middle group, killed the skirmisher and warrior. If your group is geared enough (which they should be) your dps/healer/tank should be at full mana/hp after these two pulls, even with the tank tanking 2 watchers.
Our tank then ran to the boss, pulled. I shackled the shadowcaster in the last group, and the last add was just tanked. Heroism was used, and we all focused on the boss and just burst him down. Boss should die in about 35 seconds, if it's much longer you probably won't make it. Interestingly enough, the adds didn't insta-wipe us once we had the boss down, we just killed them off one by one and nobody died.
Here are a few tips incase you have any of these classes:
Priests can shackle obviously, but by doing what we did, you can avoid dpsing the last shadowcaster (or eating the damage) by shackling.
Priests can also use Divine Hymn to incapacitate up to 10 targets for 20 seconds, which would effectively remove a lot of the smaller adds for a large portion of the fight.
Ranged dps need to be quick on getting people out of webs. Instead of trying to interrupt it, we just had someone with an instant cast spell to blast them as soon as it was cast. Don't use anyone with a cast time, it takes too long (even the 1.5 sec ones). I had shadow word:death which would 1 shot them easily.
The AoE web disorient will be deadly regardless when it's cast since your tank pretty much requires constant heals. If you have a pally healer they can bubble themself to allow continuous healing, but if you have anyone else (like we did), I picked up 2 Free Action Potions for the healer. They prevent snares and stuns for the next 30 secs, which is about how long the fight should last.
One thing to note is that if you're well geared, you want to keep an eye on the hp of the watchers. The first watcher was down to about 75% hp before we even pulled the boss, simply due to the pally's tanking damage.
As for the tiny adds that he spawns, you'd need someone to take care of those. Our pally tank obviously got aggro quickly from these and they were nothing to worry about, but for a druid/warrior tank this may be a problem since you don't have time to run around protecting the healer.
Other than that, the key to this fight is controlling the mobs as much as possible. It's frustrating to leave everything to chance, since when you wipe you really can't do anything different the next time other than hope for the best. Plan how to avoid the disorients/webs/spawns/adds/skirmisher fixates/shadowcasters from the start and it won't be as hard as it sounds.

Completed this tonight with a prot warrior, 2 mutilate rogues, resto shaman, resto druid.
We pulled the watchers one at a time and killed the adds, then engaged the boss. The watchers were high enough health that I simply kept magma totem down, which killed any web wrapped people in 2 pulses. Keeping full hots, earth shield, and riptide up on the tank kept him up through the blinding webs.

This achievement isn't class dependent, I've done it a several times now with different make-ups.
Only thing I would highly suggest is the pvp trinket, mentioned above, to break out of the blinding webs from Watcher Narjil.
Here's how we do it:
1) pull the left group, kill adds.
2) pull the middle group, kill adds.
3) pull boss
so at this point, the tank is on the boss, 3 watchers, and 2 adds.
* dps
really
needs to watch web wraps.
* trinket out of the blind, don't use it on wraps. (trinket isn't as important for the dps, but the healer+tank should have it equipped.)
From a prot warrior's perspective - try to save all your cooldowns until you get blinded; trinket out shield wall + last stand + enraged regen. Spell reflecting the mindflay helps a lot, if you can time it right!

A group of mine spent a few attempts trying to do this achievement slowly to no avail.
Our first few attempts we would pull each watcher group, kill everything but the watcher then move onto the next one. It quickly became apparent that this would always overwhelm the healer (me, restoration shaman) and people would die.
Our group was composed of:
Death Knight (tank)
Death Knight (DPS)
Shaman (resto)
2 caster DPS (can't remember =\)
It is a DPS race, however it is made much easier by having a DK off tank with tanking gear.
To start off our off tank went straight in to aggro everything. I dropped an earthbind to slow down the adds and the tank got aggro on the boss. The off tank (again, a Death Knight - this is essential) then ran to the entrance of the instance as fast as possible, slowing the adds down along the way.
In the meantime the DPS nuked the boss, and when the DK off tank got to the entrance of the instance, he popped Army of the Dead and stayed alive as long as possible.
Our DPS was able to nuke down the boss in the time alloted (with a little help from my Flame Shock/Lava Burst and Lightning Bolt spam), although the adds came back and wiped us.
One thing of particular note - if you kill the boss every watcher group despawns whether or not you killed them directly.
Took us one attempt once we decided that was the best plan.
This seems to be the easiest way to do this as you avoid all the webs and poisons that the adds dish out. High DPS, BL and a DK off tank are needed, however.

I just did this boss with 2 dks, one tank, one dps, 1 lock and 1 warr, me being holy pala, both dks with army of the dead, we just zerged the boss and I had to bubble, everyone had to burn their cds off and hug the boss cause of adds, we managed to kill and complete achiev, ofcourse we all died in the end due to all the adds on us. ;p

What my group did was very simple... We managed to do it in 2 tries. What we did was we cleared to first boss without killing the critters (for a reason).
Our group comp was
Feral druid
Prot warrior (me)
Resto druid
Assassination Rogue
Ret pally
What i did, as the warrior, was (using a system of macros) shoot the watcher in the middle, Heroic throw the one on the right, and body pull the one on the left. I used bloodrage (for small amounts of initial aggro).I then intervened the feral druid (stealthed), Charged a spider, and intercepted a roach. This got me halfway up the hallway with the adds. I then turned around, Shield wall + shield block, when that ended, last stand + enraged regen and popped both trinkets, stoneform (since i'm a dwarf), and potted. I lasted about 40 seconds with all the adds on me. Shockwave is your friend, since they all are stunnable. While i did this, the feral druid tanked the boss while everyone else dpsed their brains out. Once i died, the adds started running back towards the group, and since the boss was dead, both druids shadowmelded and the rogue vanished, leaving the poor ret pally to die XD.
Basically, kite to entrance and live for as long as possible :). I've done it for 4 separate groups using this strategy.
Good luck ^.^

If you are a Protection warrior going for this achievement you can make the difference for a decent group to get it done. The pull is tricky, you have to gain sufficient aggro on all the adds without dying and live long enough for your group to kill the boss. Each group has separate aggro so you need to aggro each one and build enough threat so they don't rubberband to your group and live long enough for your group to 4 man the boss.
To pull the 3 groups: First, target the middle Watcher Silthik, use Bloodrage, and shoot him with your normal ranged Shoot attack. While the shot is going off, select the right group Shadowcaster, when the shot fires use Heroic Throw to pull/silence the Shadowcaster and his group. At this point you will have the middle group and the right group aggro on you. Note that changing your target after your shoot cast bar begins will still let the shot go off on your original target, just don't cast Heroic Throw until it fires.
Next target the left group Watcher Gashra and Charge him. Use Berserker Rage frst, then Commanding Shout, Last Stand and Enraged Regeneration. When the groups arrive at you turn and use Shockwave to stun them all.
Finally you Intervene a group-mate who is waiting a short distance away toward the upper tunnel. Earthbind or Frost Trap at this same area is helpful. Once you gain distance with Intervene you can use a
Swiftness Potion
or
Golden Hare
. Run to the top of the tunnel but don't zone out. Here you make your stand with Shield Wall and be sure to use Shockwave again when they arrive. You will die here but don't release. You should have bought your group enough time to burn the boss and get your achievement and not let any get loose and into the boss fight.

We did this last night with feral tank, holy priest, mage, enhancement shaman and dps dk. First and foremost, we were not able to acces the ledge. Although there is a small chance that all the 5 of us were just plain terrible at arcade :D, and noone could hit a right spot to climb the ridge for 5 minutes, but it is more likely that this was fixed, and the ledge is not accessible anymore.
So, we did the achievment by pulling a watcher, taking down his adds, pulling another one, taking down the adds, and doing the same with the last. As soon, as only the 3 watchers were alive, the tank started running up to the entrance. He was in bear form, but even so he was faster then the watchers. The dk pulled the boss right when the tank started kiting the watchers, and everyone started burning him down. The rest is the same as with the other kiting tactics: kiter dies, boss dies, everyone gets the achievment, everyone dies :D.
My guess is that we were incredibly lucky for the kiter not getting web wrapped by the watchers.

The following strategy worked the first try after wiping many, many times on some other strats here. Our group had a war tank, ret paly, unholy DK, blood DK, Holy paly. The dual-paladins seem to be the magic key our strategy:
1)
The ret paly ran about 20 yards towards all the mobs to gain agro and bubbled.
2)
The holy paly immediately cast a critical holy shock on the bubbled paly to steal agro, drank a swiftness potion, ran away down the entrance hall, dropped a consecrate (to boost agro) and kept running. (important to use the increased-threat spell, and have the 'free crit' talent ready)
3)
The DPS charged the boss as soon as all the adds were chasing the holy. (right away)
4)
The holy reached the portal WAY before the slow spider ever caught up thanks to the potion. To stall for time, he bubbled and used holy wrath to stun the adds when they finally caught up. The holy then died.
5)
The adds began the surprisingly slow walk back to the boss
6)
The boss died just as the adds in came back to the room, achievement recieved. Best wipe ever.
The boss hits relatively lightly and a healer is not required with a strong DPS team blowing cooldowns on it. The swiftness potion MUST be drank by the runner, we tried other ways and this works like a charm. The holy paly reported the spider adds seemed to walk back really slowly after he died, use this to your advantage.
Hope this helps some people, it made this almost trivial for us.

If you're into group stacking for this achievement, read on.
Use a Frost (Tank preferred) DK, any OT, a Shammy, a Pally, and anything on the final slot. Use in all 1 Kiter, 1 Tank, 1 Healer, 2 DPS.
Have the Shammy put an Earthbind Totem a few yards in front of the entrance tunnel just before the pull.
Have the Pally bubble pull--have them run at the far right group, Bubble as they aggro, veer left past the other two groups, and have them stop at the orange torch-like thingee on the left about 20 yards in front of the entrance.
Have the DK do a Deathchilled Howling Blast from max range to get aggro.
Have the DK run like mad, popping AMS if they can at the start while they're still in LoS of the caster mobs.
While the DK is kiting, they have to Chains of Ice the Skirmishers who have a run speed bonus (backstab hits for a ton even on a tank).
When the DK gets to the entrance, have them turn around and proc Lichborne/whatever else is left to buy your group time.
Have your OT pick up the boss before Bubble wears off but after the kite starts.
Burn the boss down; you have around 40-50 seconds if the DK buys you some time.
After trying a good number of strategies for this boss, this one worked during our "practice" run. The Earthbind, Frost DK, and Bubble pull bits are the key, though substitutions could of course be made.

Had a similar strategy to complete this achievement. After trying some of the zerg and single group ways a few nights, wanted to try some of the kiting ones.
Group Format was:
Holy Priest (Me)
Feral Druid (Tank)
Enhance Shaman
Warlock (Affliction I believe)
Death Knight (DPS spec of some sort)
Since we didn't have a paladin as the above posted mentions, we used an idea proposed for this achievement I can no longer find listed here. The DK would initiate the pull sending his ghoul to the middle pack and huddle with it. About 1 second after that he would drop Death and Decay around the same spot as the ghoul and gain aggro on the room (most of it, I'll mention that in a second) and book it to the entrance where I had a Lightwell posted and he would use his mitigation cooldowns. We followed the druid in after the Death and Decay was dropped and started to nuke the boss. The kiting with the DK gave us a good 45 seconds or so of relatively safe DPS time. With the Warlock, if we had SS up it gave us another 10 or so because the DK could respawn and reaggro them for a short amount of time.
For some reason (possibly healing aggro beating Death and Decay or something), but 2-3 adds would remain near the boss for the few attempts we took before we got the kill. And it seemed random for the most part on who would get aggro. The shaman got aggro a couple times, the warlock got it once, and I got aggro and died about 10% in on the actual kill attempt. : /
We had relatively high DPS (each person was putting out 2.5k at least on the other stuff we were doing) and we had a heroism obviously, but wanted to to post an alternative route to going for this achievement without a paladin or trying the zerg/single methods. It is a bit of luck on the pull, but other than that if you can survive for about 10 seconds you should have it. Worked for us after about 4-5 practice/failed attempts. Another side note, our DK had a solid set of offspec tanking gear, so he sat around 31k with Fort.
Good Luck, hope this helped some people.

Did this today (Yes I know I have slacked alot!:))
Since the kiting theory don't work anymore because of the enrage we had to do it the normal way.
We first took some tries to pull the first and kill adds, then pull second and kill adds then the third and kill adds but the web wrap and "blind" killed us.
Then we found a new strategy.
Holy Paladin (Me)
Elemental Shaman
Arcane Mage
Prot Paladin
And Combat Rogue
What we did was getting the Prot Paladin to run in and pull all the mobs and the boss, then we used BL, Hand Of Sacrifice and Divine Protection and just nuked the boss down.
We needed some tries because of the Skrimishers oneshotted a random some times but on 3rd try we maked it.
It was really fun to do:)

Protection paladin run in using
Holy Wrath
, Shadowpriest ran in after and used
Divine Hymn
(all priests got it) = 20 free seconds of nuking (+ bonus poins for having shaman with bloodlust).
All the minor adds were incapacitated (skirmishers, shadowcasters) and the 3 watchers pounded tank.

Did this achieve with no problem.
Group make up was Holy pally(Me), Prot pally, Ele shaman, Spriest, and a resto druid.<---Keep in mind that we were all dressed in pretty much best gear in the game.
What we simply did was pull the first watcher and two adds on the left side, killed the two adds very quick pally kept the watcher and on-then pulled the middle group and killed those two adds real quick the pally now has 2 watchers on him.
Now is when the 3rd group all the way on the right comes running two us, what i did(holy paladin) was throw on righteous fury then judement>exrosim>holyshock all on Watcher Najil. From there i kitted watcher Najil to the entrance of the instance, while my tank, 2 dps and healing druid all took down the 2 adds that pull with Watcher Najil.
After your dps kill the 2 adds, you jump on the boss ASAP and dps your nuts off(Bloodlust ftw), while the tank will have 2 watchers on him and the boss, so make sure your healer isnt fail and knows what he is doing.
While my dps was killing the boss i was sitting in the back healing myself with watcher najil hitting me, and what all i had to do was spam heals on myself and interupt wachter najil's web blind or w.e it is(hammer of judgment, holy wrath ftw).
While i was in the back they killed the boss in a good 20-30sec.... the watchers don't despawn after you kill the boss so be ready to die after you get your achievement.. lol.
---> main thing you need to watch in this fight is: as soon as someone gets wep wrapped.. get them out, tanks and healers will have to be on their game cause there are going to be guarented "Oh %^&*" moments, and if your dps can pull 3.5k this achieve is guna be a lil harder for you.

If you got a good geared grp, and some heavy dps this can be done easely by zerging the boss.
Done it that way yesturday.
Pulling all 3 grps and Boss as well from the start, all dps focuses Boss and nuke him as hard as posseble. In about 20-30sec one of the adds will do Blinding Webs, be ready for that point, if you are human pop the Everymen For Him Self, Pala - bubble, rest use pvp trinket. As well on that point if you have a paladin in grp it might be a good idia to put Hand of Sucrufise on your tank to make sure nothing will happen to him (pala need to be in bubble for that though, other wise he will die him self).
It took use... I think it was 35-40 sec to kill the boss so non of the adds managed to make any cocons or posion voley in that time.
Keep in mind though that this way does requier a realy good dps, we had 16k dps on grp (ret pala ~4.2; enchi shaman ~4.1; surv hunter ~3.7; feral drood(tank) ~3.2). So as good tank (bouth good geared and able to keep all mobs on him (its 10 mobs at start) and so as a good healer.
If you have such dps that will be the easyest way do this achi cause it took us only 1 go to do it

Just killed him without killing any other mobs.
Group make up
Prot Paladin, H Priest, Ele sham, Unholy DK, Fire mage.
Basically the paladin just agrod the boss, concecrate and pop his 50% shield. Priest spammed heals.
Ele sham popped blust , nuked down the boss. Wiped right after he died, so i guess we're lucky.

Got him down with this setup:
Combat rogue (me, halfway tanking the boss)
Prot Paladin (Kiting)
Resto Shaman
Ench Shaman (Tanking the last half of the boss)
Mage
1. Pull the pack at your very left first, let the rogue kill the shadowcaster alone while the paladin, mage and the ench shaman nuke the skirmisher.
2. Pull the pack in the middle, nuke the skirmisher and then nuke the warrior.
3. Pull the third pack to your very right and let the rogue nuke the shadowcaster alone again, while the paladin, mage and ench shaman nuke the warrior.
4. The paladin now starts to run up to the entrance of the instance while the rogue starts to tank the boss with evasion. When evasion got 2-3s left, let the ench shaman know and vanish. The Ench shaman has his wolves ready to start tanking the boss. Meanwhile the resto shaman keeps me and the ench shaman up in health (since evasion does only protect you 50% and wolves wont heal enough).
5. WATCH OUT all the time for the webbing, you must be there asap killing the webs or it will be a wipe.
This setup is totally doable with this tactic, although it might take some tries to get it perfect.
We also tried to kite all packs up, me (rogue) go start tank the boss and the ench shaman goes in to tank when needed. But with this tactic we had some occasionly random problems with the skirmishers and shadowcasters since they do not always follow the kiter and might just end up standing there next to the boss and start attacking us dps'ers.

This strategy worked for us on 2/12/09:
Group:
Prot Pally
Ret Pally
DK
Mage
Holy Priest
1. Pull the left pack and kill the two adds.
2. Pull the middle pack and kill the two adds.
3. Pull the right back, and make sure the prot pally gets sufficient aggro on all three of them.
4. Prot Pally Holy Wrath (stuns) all the mobs are starts running toward the entrance. While this happens, the DK goes into frost presence and pulls the boss.
5. Prot Pally runs all the way to the entrance and pops all CDs and Holy Wraths again when it's off CD. He'll eventually be blinded and all the mobs will begin running back to the rest of the group.
6. With the DK tanking, the rest of the group burns down the boss before the adds get to them.

Had a lot of wipes on this one today.
My initial Group setup was as follows:
13/50/7 Frost Death Knight (TANK)
50/13/7 Blood Death Knight (DPS)
13/0/58 Shadow Priest (DPS)
53/0/18 Holy Paladin (Healer)
DPS Hunter (For the succesfull kill replaced in a Protection Warrior)
We tried a couple of strategies.
The first one was to let the hunter kite. He managed to pull the watchers (with the intention to kite them to the entrance of the isntance and when he was about to die Feign deith) but both frost trap and explosive trap could not keep the aggro on the hunter and as soon as we started dpsing the boss the healer would take aggro on the watchers. This Strategy did not work. We had multiple tries on this.
The next we tried, let the hunter pull 1 of the watchers, without anyone else in the party getting aggro, and the feign death. The boss and watchers will despawn. We placed the tank on top of where the boss would spawn, and all of us with our backs to the the web thats stops you from going to the next room. We DPSed him down to 30% but wiped, we tried this a couple of times but it just didnt work.
What we tried next is pull the watchers one by one, from the left to the right, kill the adds, and pull the 3rd pack together with the boss, We tried this one a couple of times aswell, but the dps of the hunter and spriest was under 2k so we just didnt have the dps to survive the fight here.
Desperate times need desperate measures, the hunter decided to quit because he didnt want to try anymore, so, together with the frost specced death knight we allrdy had we got protection specced warrior. What we did is have the protection warrior Shoot the right group, Heroic throw on the middle group, charge into the left group. Take all the adds together in the middle of the room, generate aggro as much as possible with thunder clap etc for 2-3 seconds and then run to the entrance (using intercept/charge on critters to stay away from the mobs). The healer didnt get aggro over the allready huge created threat of the warrior.
The warrior died when the boss was at about 20%, as I mention before our DPS was really low. However, the adds took a very long time to get back to the room! When the boss was @ 2% the adds came back, but the boss died ;) I really think is the best strategy for this archievement. As i tried a lot of them, this one was succesfull the first try with a crappy dps group.. !
hope this helps! Gl & Hf with this one!

Just done with a ret pally, elemental shaman, prot warrior, blood DK, and discipline priest.
We had the DK past the groups, starting from the pool on the right, moving across the middle, to the left.
As soon as they started running towards him, we had the DK use a
Swiftness Potion
to outrun them, running to the entrance.
In case the potion wears off too quickly, a Jewelcrafter can pop their
Ruby Hare
as well.
After all the mobs pursued the death knight, we blew Heroism right from the start and burned down the boss.
A stray shadowcaster came for us but we shackled it.
By the time the mobs are already coming back, the boss should be dead.
At most of 40 seconds of hardcore dedicated DPS, with the discipline priest spamming smite with power infusion.
No ledge abuse, no zerging the boss.

Just did this (5th or 6th attempt. Some minor communication issues
Group composition:
2x Shadowpriest (one of which being me), 1x Warlock, 1x Resto Druid, 1x Prot warrior.
Buffs:
Prayer of Fortitude, Prayer of Shadow Protection, Gift of the Wild
Tactics used:
Lock placed a demonic circle (or whatever it's called) a bit back.
2 Spriests shielded everybody (to mitigate any initial damage, for less healing needed, and thus less aggro gained by the healer) right before we pulled.
Warrior charged in, didn't use -any- AoE whatsoever, nor commanding/battle shout, just to avoid the lock not getting aggro.
Lock fired a Seed of Corruption on the boss, used Curse of Elements on the boss (2x Magic DPS - as far as I know, it still buffs other people's damage. If not, I'm a moron for making him use it instead of CoA, in which case it would've been a bit easier), used another Seed of Corruption on the boss, used the demonic teleport !@#$, kept aggro of the adds until they reached him at the very beginning of the instance and killed him.
Me and the other Spriest had /focus on the 2 skirmishers and shackled them as they returned (yes, they CAN be shackled whilst enraged), and kept them shackled the rest of the fight.
Wasn't that bad after a few attempts when we knew what to do 100%.
We had him at ~25% before the adds returned, though.

I tried many startegies for this, none of them seemed to work.
The one where you pull them seperatly, kill the adds but not the watchers didnt work because after a while tank loses threat.
The one where you go straight for him and tank keeps all add didnt work. Even with a good geared group the skirmishers pick off healers and dps.
We tried kill skrimishers then pulling, that didnt work cuase again tank loses threat after a while
we tried a lock/mage kite. that didnt work because once tank pciks up boss and healer starts healing the adds forget about the kiter.
Finally we just kinda created our own startegy based off some other strategies.
Our group:
Lock (me)
Tankadin
Drood healer
Another Lock
Hunter
what we did was have the hunter md pull onto the healer, healer turned into a kityy and sprinted to entrance. Tank grabbed boss. Dps nuked the hell outta the boss. barely made it. Adds just came back and was about to kill the other lock. but he got in a incinerate and killed off the boss. With this strategy its basically a dps race, you dont have to worry about maintianing threat or anything. Also you need a tank that can survive w/o heals on the boss, he doesnt hit high, niether does his adds so we were pretty good, didnt even have to use a heal pot. GL guys very satisfying when you get this acheiv. IMO its the hardes glory of the hero one.

After several wipes, we used the strategy of killing the adds that come with the watchers on the left and in the middle, then grabbed the watcher on the far right and just ignored his adds. Reasoning for this is the skirmishers - they make kiting very difficult with 7k backstabs as you run away from them. The Watcher on the far right only has a warrior and shadowcaster with him. Party make up was Prot warrior(myself), Prot Paladin, FFB Mage, Afflic Warlock, and resto Shaman. Paladin kited the watchers to the entrance and I picked up the Gatewatcher and we all went balls-the-walls DPS. Bloodlust helped a great deal.
One thing that helped inadvertently was the paladin was web wrapped. When this happened, the watchers all came running back for us, but before they could get back, web wrap wore off, and they all turned around and went back for him. This bit of dumb luck bought us a few more seconds to finish him off. We all died, but the Warlock's DoTs and the Mage's images finished the job. Now that Gotta Go! has been nerfed, this is easily the toughest achievement in the instance.

Heres how we did it .... our comp was arcane mage frost mage spriest holy pally prot pally. We had the holy pally with a switfness potion. me ( prot pally), ran in and single target aggro'd the boss. The holy pally healed me once with righteous fury on and got all the healing aggro, popped his run speed pot and kited and me and the dps ran in and burned the boss down.... our dps was meh so you just need the right strat and you should be ok

We did this about a week ago, groupsetup:
Frost DK Tank
Retribution Pally
Arcane Mage
Destrolock
Resto Shammy
At first we tried kiting like so many have quoted here, but we kept running into a specific problem: Despite no one being on the ledge or otherwise trying to exit combat, after ~10 seconds of fighting the boss while the adds were rushing down the tunnel, the entire encounter despawned.
This led us to assume that the encounter was nerfed in some way and there's now a tether of sorts on the adds, which can make it despawn.
Here's what we did in the end:
Tank pulls left group, dps down the Skirmisher ASAP, then kill the Shadowcaster - I interrupted him meanwhile. Immediately right before that dies, tank pulls second (middle) group, Skirmisher gets stunned by the Pally, killed, then the other miniadd gets killed.
Again, right before we're done there, the Tank pulled the last group, Pally AE stunned then we interrupted/killed the caster.
At this point with all 3 Watchers on the tank, he starts spiking
horribly
. Their bites hit for ~5k each, so he can take up to a 15k spike + 3 DoTs on him to cleanse + all the normal melee damage in one go. Plus Poison and the odd AE stun.
The moment the third watcher group was engaged I popped Heroism, and the tank used his first timer, I think Unbreakable Armor it was.
This got us onto the main boss. The Paladin had to do ~90% of the de-diseasing, I did Poison via totem, we trinketed the first AE stun. Right after Unbreakable Armor faded he went into Icebound Fortitude.
In the end we took a few seconds too long and a second AE stun stunning everyone took out most of us, but the Mage and the Warlock managed to nuke off the last 2% before they died and we got it.
Very tankable, just needs pinpoint perfect execution.

Just completed this today after having quite some tries & wipes over the last weeks, this time it was a more unusual grp setup.
Grp existed of:
holy priest (me)
resto shaman
druid tank
hunter
fury warrior
I'll add that we had a pure one-shot with this group, making me think "WTF are we doin' right this time?"
We started by pulling the first grp and kill the Watcher's buddies. Same for second grp and also for the last grp. Tank did an awesome job holding aggro on the 3 watchers. Once boss started Bloodlust was popped.
Shammy had poison totem up whole the time, I dispelled all the diseases and ofc, me & the shammy healed our asses off keeping tank & DPS alive. Since we had quite good DPS, boss went down pretty fast. DPS did an excellent job delivering good DMG and also killing the webs once someone got webbed (happened whole the time during fight).
All dead in the end, but that beatiful window & that lovely sound suddenly popped up when the boss was downed =)
I believe this is a very very good setup (good solid DPS and having 2 healers), this made it possible to keep whole grp up without too many stress.

We had a pretty relaxing run on this, we didn't want to kick the guildies that participated in previous Achievements so we ended up with the following comp:
Death Knight - Tank
Hunter - Survival
Shaman - Elemental
Druid - Balance
We simply had our hunter put an explosive trap near the center of the room, pull all the 3 packs while we run in. Then disengages are sprints towards the exit. We pop our CDs and Heroism and gather around the DK to take care of the small adds. Hunter dies near the exit, adds come back and we kill it before we get obliterated.
It's messy, but effective.

Hi im ronorthean, a shaman from the the server Echo Isles. my friend( feral druid) and i have been working on all of the heroic dungeon achievements for the past few months, working mostly on the weekends. By far this is the hardest achievement that we have done. First, let me introduce you to our group.
Raleigh-Feral druid- tank
Ronorthean-Resto Shaman- healer
Saltypriest- Discipline Priest- healer
Vengeful- Retribution Paladin-DPS
Justiczar-Retribution Paladin-DPS
when we got this achievement, we took down the watcher's 2 adds and then moved on to the next watcher group. we started on the far left, had 1 of our ret pallies repent the shadow caster, and dpsed down the skirmisher. once the skirmisher was down we killed the Shadow caster of course. The far left watcher will Cocoon a random player in the group, the cocoon has 1000 health and is easily taken care of. immediately kill it though, for if it goes untouched he will cast another and having 2 poeple cocooned just sux. The second watcher's adds are a warrior and a skirmisher. We repented the warrior with our other ret paladin and killed the skirmisher, and then the warrior. i beleive that this middle watcher applies a disease which increases the physical damage taken by the tank. (please dont quote me on this, i just noticed it started happening when we pulled the second one). this disease sux and will screw you over. CLEANSE IT ASAP. either Ret pally our priest or me cleansed it as fast as we could, it will kill your tank. The last watcher's adds are a skirmisher and shadow caster again. we once again repented the caster and killed the skirmisher, and then the caster. This final watcher, the far right one will cast blinding webs, which has you running around for a few seconds, unable to do anything. Free actions potions do not work, we tried it. All these watcher abilities might seem minor, but if your tank gets the disease and then your all blinded, your gonna wipe. DPS, you need to watch you AoE through the add pulls. Having two ret pallies using diving storm was nice on breaking cocoons, but our first watcher almost died before we killed the boss( they have about 130k health i believe) once the six adds are down, and you just have the watchers left, go ahead and pull the boss. The boss has a curse that hurts, and all the watchers abilites will still happen in the fight. when the adds come, the preist in our group holy novad to take down the weaker adds and 2 divine storms took down the stronger ones. if you healers got any mana left, spam heal the boss, his health will spike. The reason we took 2 ret pallies were for 2 blessing, there 2 stuns to all undead around them( works on all the adds), repentence, and not only can they bubble themselves, but they can BoP the healers if a skirmisher fixates on them.
i hope this little guide helped out, this is a video of another group that did it the same way as us, not us. (they have a prot warrior and a holy paladin)

After numerous failed attempts to use a hunters MD and holy pallies bubbles, holy wrath, Eyes of the beast kiting, everything we could think of, we decided that on our last attempt to just BL and shield wall and have tank tank everything. We managed to kill him with two people still alive. We got lucky in the fact that our healer didnt get web wrapped, but if all else fails... shoot him until dead.

Did it today after a long time of not caring for it.
Groupsetup consisted of:
Protection Warrior (me)
Frostfire Mage, Elemental Shammy, Balance Druid
Holy Paladin (alt)
We pulled the middle watcher, then left, then right, then onto boss, killing the adds between each pull.
The way we did the important part:
Tank runs in on the boss, and immediately uses spellreflect.
Paladin stuns the 3 watchers with Holy Wrath.
Shaman pops Bloodlust.
Tank uses shieldwall (4set T7 helps with that, as it gives 3 seconds extra (thats 25% durationincrease), using spellreflect as often as possible.
After shieldwall, shockwave to stun the adds once more.
Seeing as we had only caster DPS, tank uses Challenging Shout to reduce knockback as much as possible. Thunderclap and Damage Shield should take care of those mobs without much of a problem.
Optional: Have the paladin use Turn Evil on Narjil to avoid some blinding webs.
Good luck out there :)

As of Patch 3.0.9, February 26, 2009.
We had:
Paladin tank (me)
Fury warrior with tank set
Hunter
2h Unholy DPS DK (REALLY good)
Priest healer
Here's what we did - and it was a close call. I pulled 2 groups with Exorcism and Avenger's Shield, while the Hunter had Misdirect on me and pulled the third group. I ran in, Holy Wrath'd as many as I could and started running towards the entrance, dropping Consecrations. By the time I was close to the portal Holy Wrath was off cooldown, so I could use it again. Divine Shield, tossed a quick Holy Light, cancelled Divine Shield so mobs wouldn't go back all the way to the boss, Holy Shield =+trinkets, LoH soon after...and I died. Fortunately the warrior semi-tank and the other 3 guys were able to finish the boss seconds after I died (he had ~5% left).
Will definitely need over 10,000 combined DPS for this to work.

Just did the achievement yesterday with the following group:
Frost Tank Deathknight (me)
Holy Paladin
Holy Paladin with Defense gear equipped
Retri Paladin
Beast Mastery Hunter
Our tactic: We pulled each Watcher group, one by one, starting from the left and ending with the right one. We killed the 2 small adds in each group (that means skirmisher- warrior combinations or shadowcaster - warrior) and i was getting Watchers on me. When i had the 2 Watchers attacking me i popped all my cooldowns so to maximize my avoidance till i get the 3 of them and then our Holy Paladin in defense gear aggroed them all and used a swiftness potion and began running to the top of the instance, where the exit gate is. During this, our Hunter used also some slowing traps to give some time ahead for our pally to get infront of the watchers and whilst the watchers were chasing our friend, we nuked the hell out of the boss popping all of our offensive cds (i used ghoul and army of the dead while the pally got the watchers away from me) When they killed our pally, the Watchers had already lost their master...They watched him not only die...but got gang banged :D
Thanks to : Ammenuensis, Hyperstorm, Giwrgosp and Drusie for their help. Aphroditi :)

Just did it one hour ago after some wipes. In which wipe we were closest to do it.
Our group setup:
Dk Unholy - tank
Mage - Frostfire
Priest - healer
Shaman - elemental
Druid - cat-dps
1 try - Standart - killing mobs one-by-one started from left group of mobs - we wiped because 3 persons get cocoons at one time.
2 try - Rush aka Evul Strategy - We immediately rush on boss with shammy heroism- we survive 25 seconds or so.
3 try - Rush aka Evul Strategy - but with one small idea. Our DK pop-up
https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/spell=42650
Shammy - heroism. Boss had 40k hp left and we wiped due to blind/cocoons.
* We are thinking of bringing second Dk to our group but that will be sort our group, but when you will have two dks and they pop-up Army of Dead - it would be ridiculously easy.
4 finall try - SUCCED - We started from the left - skirmisher and caster died - tank with Watcher on back move to middle - skirmisher and warrior died - then we move to boss (we 'skipped' right group of mobs because Watcher there has Blind Ability). Heroism + much of AoE + some amount of luck = achievment. Only one person survived (I died when boss had 1k hp).
You need good dps for do that, definitely bring Shammy with Heroism, you must kill the boss in 25-30 sec. longer in my opinion is impossible.
Good luck and I hope our ideas can help you.

Very easy tactic Kiting tactics, can be done with any group as long as you have a rogue with you
1 Tank
1 Healer
1 Rogue
1 Warlock preferably but anything works
1 Good geared DPS
The warlock places summoning circle on other side of the wall near the exit -
-Tank engages the boss
-Rogue ( Me ) puts Tricks of the trade on warlock and spams FoK and makes sure he hits all the targets.
-As soon as the Mobs run after the Lock he uses his teleport summon circle thingy which will give him a huge head start on the Kiting of the mobs ( The lock has to run towards the exit )
-Make sure you have some good dps'ers or the Boss won't get down before the adds are back
Anyways, we actually did this without a healer, we chose to use an elemental shammy for Bloodlust and some extra Pew Pew

We FINALLY got this horrible achievement.
Layout
Resto druid
Tank druid
Ret Pally
Lock
Mage
The lock and mage weren't vital at all besides for doing dps. The resto druid hotted all of us and we just charged the boss. Everything besides one skirmisher went chasing after the resto druid who did the run to the entrance trick. The bear popped his cooldowns, and we just all did as much dps as possible. The ret pally bopped the lock, and we just destroyed the boss in about 30 seconds. It would be much easier if you replace the lock or mage with an elemental shaman to provide lust. The hot+run works very well though. The healer didn't even die, and we all got the achievement.
Using this strategy you need to have the four people do a combined 8k+ dps. You might be able to pull it off with 7k-7500 because we come down for quite a while even after the boss died.

You really don't need any of these complicated strategies.
We just dpsed him down yesterday while I tanked all adds + boss where he was. It took us about 40 seconds with a pure melee group + heal priest, everyone equiped with ~70% Naxx 25 and 30% Naxx 10 Items.

After about 30 wipes and various tactics and setups we happened to switch healer to resto druid. Hots and abolish poison certainly did the job. We also used 2 tanks, #1 on watchers (we killed the small ones, pulling one pat at a time) and #2 on boss (who was dpsing untill all pats were under control). A few tips on this fight:
- Don't forget the web wraps, even if you're tanking or healing you got to nuke asap. They only got 1k hp anyway.
- Tank should focus dmg on the skirmishers which are taunt immune.(Having a priest to shackle also takes the pressure off)
- Have your #1 tank, if possible, interrupt
Watcher Narjil
's
Blinding Webs
(he's the one to the right and the only one with this ability) or even trinket out of it, otherwise his/her mobs are going loose on the party.
Seems there's a bunch of ways to pull this through. Charging, kiting, solo-tanking, multi-tanking etc, you just have to find a tactic that suits your setup best or in case you want to commit to a tactic, try getting the right ppl for it. Meanwhile you might experience some frustration and suffering.
Highfive!

Just did this one today as it was my last one for the glory.
So our line up was:
Warrior (Def) ~ 30k Buffed (naxx 10/25)
Mage (naxx 25)
Affliction (naxx 10)
Retripala (naxx 25)
Resto Shami (me, naxx 25)
It took us 14 tries to get it right. So here was our final tactics:
Pala unequipped and equipped his gear to lose 50% life. He went in with bubble body pulled the left group went to middle and finally got to the right group.
I casted a 13k healing wave along with a riptide. then turned on bloodlust while the others were on the far left side to remain undetected by skirmishers etc..
After that i drank a 50% speed potion and ran to the instance entry and waited for the adds to come. I even ran faster than the skirmisher :) Meanwhile everyone was dpsing their brain out.
If you do it right and the others dont get infight too early, none of the 3 dds should get any damage. Not even by skirmisher.. Maybe a invisible potion could help.
When i died at the entrance the boss was already at 25%. The dds were dpsing with 2k dps average. So thats pretty achievable with the right timings..

Our setup was:
Prot war
2x Enh shammy
Combat Rogue
Resto Druid
(all naxx10/25 gear)
After 5 wipes we menaged to do it - we just pulled watchers, killed theirs adds, before engaging boss we get full hp, retotem, hero and go
We was trying to use Free Action Potion to avoid cocoons or web blind but it doesnt work...
At the end our healer died but we just nuked him down - i would say holy pala would be nice here
Pull order: middle, left, right

Used a prot warrior(myself) a resto shaman 2 deathknights and a hunter
Had the hunter md the 3 adds on the right while I ran in to the left and middle ones and thunder clapped pulled back a bit and shockwaved then turned and ran up the walk way to the entrance popped berserk rage and sheild wall about 4 seconds later but dont zone out just live as long as u can. As soon as the adds were kind of out of the way the 2 dks used army of the dead and the shaman popped heroism and all 4 just nuked till he was dead. We all died but we got the achievement. I tried many strategies before we got it but thankfully this worked

DON'T listen to any of the people saying they hacked their way around the achievement by either
1) Getting up on a ledge
2) Puling the whole pack of mobs to the entrance
3) Any other hack
All these workarounds have been fixed, and the only good way to do it is the right way. Class make-up doesn't matter, although it can help. Our group didn't have a rogue or hunter or shaman (for poison/bloodlust) or pally healer for bubble and we still managed it. Do the following:
1) Have 2 tanks.
2) One tank tanks 2 watchers + boss
3) The other tank tanks 1 watcher a good 20-30 yards away from the group
4) Have the dps responsible for wraps
5) Burn the boss
I'll leave it up to you to figure out which watchers to split out.

My wife and I just completed this achievement. The strategy posted above worked for us:
Cheers!
The only points to note are:
- Make SURE you bunch up the Watchers and whatnot before stunning them and running. This way they can be re-stunned when they get to you near the door, as they group up and you can be around a corner waiting to sneakily Shockwave them.
- You can Spell Reflect an exceptionally nasty debuff that they all use, Infected Bite, back onto themselves, but most importantly, off of you.
- Stunning a Watcher whilst he's using Web Wrap will cancel the Wrap effect.

Did it today for a friend, was way easier than i thought. Strategy i used before was killing all the skirmisher and spell caster and have a warrior tank tank them up to the entrance while keeping himself up, that took a few tries and it worked in the end.
So today again i tried to do it with the same strategy for my friend, however after 1-2 hours of wiping we decided to stop and just try and zerg it.
Our step up was
Feral Druid (dps)
Frost DK (tank)
Arcane Mage (dps)
Demo/Desto Warlock (dps)
Resto Shaman (healer)
We had our pvp trinket on in case of disorient, and for our resto shaman we had him making a macro "/target web wrap" and he was on duty for killing web wrap, as he's spamming his macro while healing the main tank.
We went in with our dk pulling boss then popping every cool down and holding aggro on everything, he said he could hold aggro for 15 seconds with howling blast i believe (after that skirmisher would run off and start killing party) so we have to down the boss in that time. As soon as he went in shaman bloodlusted, and everyone just dpsed as hard as we could. After about 10 seconds we down'ed the boss quite easily, we didn't even get disoriented, and i don't think any of us got wrapped either.
Our dps ended with something like
Druid - 5.4k dps
Mage -5.3k dps
Dk -5.2k dps
Lock - 3.1k dps
So it's actually more of a dps race than kiting the adds and stuff.
Good Luck on this achievement guys!

I completed this achievment on March 20, 2009. This is the strategy I used.
Party Composition:
Tank
Tank
Healer
Healer
DPS
Stage1:
Durring stage one Tank 1 pulls the groups of three one at a time. Kill the two adds in each group before moveing on to the next group. The Watchers have differant CC abilities that make it difficult to stay alive during this stage; you have to communicate with your party and tell them when you are not able to heal or hold agro because of them. Save your cooldowns (like every man for himself) for emergencies, do not just use it the first time you are CC'd.
Stage2:
Once the 6 mobs which are unimportant for the achievment are dead have Tank 1 and Healer 1 move to the enterance of the instance with the watchers. At this time Tank 2 tanks the boss and Healer 2 heals him. DPS the boss and kill the low hp adds quickly.
Useful Spells and Abilities:
Poison Cleansing Totem
Pally Bubbles
Hand of Freedom
Every Man for Himself
Army of the Dead (Durring Stage 2)
Edit:
I dont recomend anyone trying this achievment unless they have alot of experience with their character, as well as patience and high quality gear.

Mentioning the roach in the previous post was key for us. Our group was chuckling and marveling at Zalas' description, but then realized we could use that too, with a feral druid instead of warrior. The feral druid pulled everything but the boss to the door; charging the roach put her enough ahead of the pack that she didn't get webwrapped or disoriented/stunned along the way. (She used a macro to /target roach and /cast feral charge).
I've done the achievement twice now, with the same feral druid, and different tanks and dps on the boss. The first time we had a hunter in the group, so the druid tank did something like swipe the middle group, taunt the left group, and the hunter misdirected the right group to her as she was heading into the tunnel. I'm sure she did a bunch of druidic things to prolong her life at the entrance, but I couldn't tell you what they were. After the misdirect the other tank went to the boss and the dps burned him down. I'm a holy priest - healing was moderate, so I added some miniscule dps, and holy nova'ed the bugs that the boss summoned. I also bubbled and prayer-of-mending'ed the druid before the pull, to extend her life a bit, and didn't have a problem with healing aggro. After the adds went up the tunnel, the hunter threw a frost trap at the entrance to the room, to slow down their return. The second time we had no hunter, but had a rogue, so he misdirected the right-most group to the druid. Everyone in both groups was mostly Naxx geared, and we had a few seconds to spare between killing the boss and getting the achievement before the pack of mobs returned and slaughtered us all.

Everyone's strategies seem to involve kiting the Watchers to the entrance. However, every time i've tried that, they all despawn along with the boss as soon as they hit the ramp up to the entrance.

If you have multiple stealthers in your party, you can get to behind the boss before the pull. We did this in our druid-heavy group to get around the problem of some adds (esp. the Shadowcasters) not following the kiter up the tunnel. Invis pots might work just as well.

Wow, this is definitly one of the more tricky ones. I've done it twice now, here are the 2 techniques we used. Both were in the last week, so on 3.9
First time we rolled myself a Frost dk (tank), the best dps in our 25 man raiding guild, a dk, one of the best hunters on the server, and 2 herioc raid geared holy priests. The hunter and dk could both pull 3.5-4k+ dps on a boss in a 5 man. I put out another 1600. we aggroed each group, 1 at a time and killed all but watchers, then got the boss, our 2 dps nuked the boss hard, I couldn't aoe at all had to go all out to hold threat, and the 2 priests took turns on divine hymn for aoe cc, and I'm sure used fade to stay alive. boss died in 40 seconds. It was INSANELY HARD we tried for like 1-2 hours, using different techniques and finally got it.
Easier method? the warlock kite method. IT STILL WORKS. IF it resets on you, its because the adds got too far from boss, so heres whatcha do.
Group setup:
Myself (frost dk tank)
2 hunters that pull 3k+ single target
1 warlock that pulls 3k+
A rly good holy, or disc priest
1. Warlock puts up summoning stone
2. Warlock sets his demonic circle just around the bend, do a lil experimenting to get the max range
3. hunter A puts frost trap by demonic circle
THE PULL
4. Hunter B multishot md's the far right group to lock, lock aggros the other 2, ports, pops a sprint potion, and books for exit (pausing at exit as long as possible) some of the adds are immune to the frost trap and book after him, SOME AREN'T (remember if they get too far from boss he resets? it slows em keeps em in range)
5. Hunter B follows the mobs, and drops a frost trap on our side to slow them on their way back
6. book to boss burned hard, again single target nuke, tank will need to stay single target to hold threat, priest divine hymns adds, and fades to stay alive
7. Lock exits instance, and excepts the summons he has, and has 10 secs to help burn boss.
8. boss dies in 21 SECONDS (which seemed like several minutes to me lol)
The priest divine hymn helps alot, fade , but priest will still be first to die, but of course can still heal the duration (I luv priests =)
9. We all die lol but with the achievement, so we die happy.
Possible tweaks, one hunter with readiness drops both traps, giving a spot for any good dps.
No healer, popping all cooldowns any tank should be able to last 20 seconds, the dps u replace healer with will need to get the bugs though, which die easy, a mage could prolly frost nova them and nuke em in a shot or 2.

Just did this after 3 hours of wiping.
Group setup:
Protpala (full naxx 25 gear including shield and axe from KT)
Retripala (some naxx10, some naxx25 gear)
Holypala (full naxx25)
Hunter (full naxx25)
Fury warrior (full naxx25)
Our tactic was to just zerg. I started out by pulling the mobs and feign deathing, reseting the encounter. We all ran to the right corner next to the boss and waited for the mobs to respawn. After that our tank ran in and popped all CD's, all DPSers popped all CD's and we zerged him down.
The recount ended up like this:
Retri-pala: 5,8K DPS
Hunter: 5,4K DPS
Warrior: 4,7K DPS
Tank: 4,2K DPS
We all died a second after we downed the boss. Would've been much easier with a shammy in the grp for Bloodlust.
Just a note, don't try zerging unless you can pull off some heavy DPS.

Several ways I've tried and worked:
1.
Have your tank, who should -really- have more than 32k hp buffed and have at least some tier 7 gear, charge right in, take all the mobs, thunder clap + shockwave (If it's a warrior, only done it with one though so I can't say anything about the other tanks) and then pull the boss. We had a shaman healer to drop a poison cleansing totem, and mass heal the tank. The dps, who were all doing more than 2.5k just burned him down, at 10% the healer died though. We got it, so that's np, since people will likely die this way. Note that if the tank is a warrior, shield wall really is a must to use.
2.
Pull the first group, kill the adds that are with the watcher. Tank, just tank the watcher and let it hit you. Same thing with second group, kill the adds that are with the watcher, then let the other one hit you as well. Same thing for the third group - Then when the boss comes, you can just nuke it down without stressing the healer too much, since he doesn't have to worry about aggro, only from the little adds which die quick. Tank will still take a lot of damage, but for example shield wall wouldn't be needed this way.
I recommend a druid tank for this, because of the high amounts of hp and armor. He's a nice AoE tank, so both ways should probably work with a druid tank.

Me and my group tried a different approach, we gathered them all up and tanked them then DPSed the boss to 0 before all the adds. I don't know why no one else thought of this.

Tried this today using the 2 tank method, haven't done it yet, but the boss despawned thrice out of maybe 8 pulls we did, as far as i can tell, the resets happen after the running tank (me in this case) dies.

Just a precautionary tale for anybody trying to get this achievement, the reset bug appears to be totally random. I finally got it today after like 15-20 tries, he despawned maybe 5 times, 1 time of which he despawned with about 2k life left while the tank was still alive.

I used a tactic not unlike the one above me.
Two DK tanks
One Holy paladin
One Hunter
One Rogue (me)
The lesser geared unholy tank ran towards the boss, and aggro'd him. I ToTT the Blood DK and FoK the right group. The Hunter MD-Volley'd the left group. The Blood DK Death and Decay'd the middle group, and then booked it to the beginning of the instance. The Holy paladin and the Hunter were on the very right side of the room, to avoid the stomp and the adds. We burned hard, and got him down on our 12th attempt. Finally.
Hunter did 3.3k dps, I did 2.7k dps, and the tank did 1.7k dps.
EDIT: Our tanks had 34k buffed HP.
This is not an achievement of the weak of heart. You have to really understand how your character works and how the skirmishers work with aggro to complete this without full Naxx/Maly 25 gear. I used abilities I haven't used since Vanilla WoW.

For the record as it's hard to find a working strategy with all the different changes to the Achievement, the easiest way to do this post-fix is to have a party with two tanky-type characters, a retri pally being strongly recommended: pull the watchers one at a time, killing off the Skirmishers, shadowcasters and warriors off but leaving the Watcher alive and pulling the next group. Once all three are dead use an AoE stun or some sort of slowing effect on the watchers (Holy Wrath works wonders). Person with aggro runs for the entrance. As long as all the non-Watcher mobs are dead the encounter won't reset.
After that it's a straight-up tank and nuke. Your healer and 3 DPSers pile up on top of the boss whilst one of your DPS-turned-tank eats the mind flays. By the time the Watchers kill your actual tank and go back to the party he should be dead.
After wiping +20 times figuring out a working strat we tried this and the boss died on the second pull. We all got the achievement. Assuming this is Blizzard's final fix to the Achievement this is the best way to do it.
Our party set-up: Resto druid for HoTing through AoE web spray, retri paladin, protection paladin, arcane mage and assassination rogue.

Brute forced with T7 equipped group: prot warrior, holy priest, retadin, mage, rogue.
All 3 watchers and their adds were pulled together with the boss, the warrior used shockwave. When it worn off, the paladin used holy wrath. After that I used divine hymn (holy priest). Basically we locked down most mobs for ~15 seconds this way. The tank used last stand/shieldwall after divine hymn expired.
I trinketed out of a blind and healed like mad. The boss was down in ~35 sec, then we all died to watchers and stuff :) It is important to save trinket for the blind, the webwrap is easily broken by random aoe damage (I was standing in boss melee range just for this).
Needs some luck but the aoe stun/disorient rotation and pvp trinkets help a lot to avoid trouble.
Maybe I could have shackled one add at the pull, but it was not necessary.

Just did this achievement April 9/09
Brute force strategy like the one posted above, but slightly different since the group make-up was basically normal, but you'll need at least one druid for this strat:
Arcane/fire mage
Boomkin
Ele Shaman
Prot Pally
Resto Druid (Me)
Basically I was the kiter for the watchers/adds (yes they zerged the boss without a healer). Had all party members except myself and the boomkin take off all gear and put them back on, which put them at approx. half health. I proceeded to put hots on each member before pulling (to get healing aggro. Overhealing does not cause aggro). I then DoTted each of the 3 watchers (be quick!) and kitty dashed to the entrance (at 2.5k health, they were quick to get to me) where most of the adds followed me.
Shaman used heroism and the rest of the grp nuked boss. Unfortunately shadow casters stayed behind and took out our dps one by one but in the end we still managed to get it (mage did 5.6k dps). Of course, we all died after getting the achievement :)
On a side note, all the party members were very well geared (Naxx 25 / malygos gear) and each dps could pull 4-5k dps easily in a normal fight.

Well this is prob one of the easiest achievs to do, really simple if you use this tactic
Our setup was, Boomkin(me), shadow priest, enhancement shammy, rogue and pala tank
The tactic :
I used all my hots on me and used starfall on all watchers and adds, when i got agro i imediatly went cat form used dash and runned to the start of the instance with all mobs chassing me, in that point the rest of the group started to nuke...well they even forgot to use heroes and tank went alone first coz this was suppost to be a exp lol and still they managed to kill it in 29 secs...
So with heroes and all starting nuke at same time you prob get the kill under 20 seconds lol
Hope this helps all of you that are still having probs on this achiev, forget the complicated tactics lol
Cheers

What my group did for this was the following:
Consisted of a Bear Druid, Ret Pally, 2 Locks, and a Priest. Our Bear tank ran in straight to the boss and our Ret Pally put up RF and began healing the Tank. He got healing agro on everything but the boss and then ran towards the entrance. As the pally ran by the priest the priest then used his Hymn and stunned everything but the 3 watchers.
The pally continued to run to the entrance while the rest of us DPSed the boss. Eventually the adds got to the pally and killed him but before they managed to get to the bottom we managed to kill the boss. Everyone received the achievement.

Pally healer, Pally OT, tank, 2 DPS.
OT pulls left group as normal. Kill 2 little guys, Kill Skirmisher in 2nd group. AOE stun 3rd group and drop a consecrate. Run to entrance. Bubble. Pally healer stuns when they get back to group. OT stuns when he gets back. The whole time, the rest of group DPS and it should be no problem. :D

This took a lot of tries but my group finally pulled it off.
Holy priest
Prot paladin
Unholy DK
Elemental shaman
Fury warrior
After trying several techniques we decided to kite by pulling the watchers one by one. Shamans are great for this achievement, since you can just put down a poison cleansing totem and let the healer worry about diseases only. Our paladin tanked the adds and our godly DK put on his tanking gear. After we had killed all but the watchers, the paladin kited them to the entrance while the shaman popped bloodlust and the DK tanked Krik'thir. At about 20% our paladin died but we burned away and killed the boss, got our achievement, and were promptly killed by the watchers. ;P There was much cheering in Vent, the difficulty is part of the feeling of accomplishment here. Good luck!

Okay I believe the easiest way to do this achievement is how I did it.Stacked group 1st .2 tanks; pally or priest healer ;3kplus dps shammy, the last dps isnt that critical only that they do great dps.Although a hunter is very helpful.Pulling from left to right pull the left watcher 1st ,kill skirmisher then caster, pull 2nd watcher, kill the skirmisher then the warrior.OK this is where it gets hairy reason being the web wraps you want to kill those 1st 2 sets of adds as fast as possible as to not get too many web wraps that slows you down.Ok so your main tank has 2 watchers on him what he does is he pulls the last watcher and books it to the hallway and up it intervening or feral charging the bugs in the hall you set up a macro to give him a lead on the 3 watchers. This is where its good to have a hunter for xtra aggro on the 3rd watcher hence missdirect. When he pulls that 3rd watcher and gets out of there your other tank pulls the warrior add that was with the watcher and aggros the boss.At this time your dps has 2 choices they can just blast the caster or ignore and have pally fear it or priest shackle it.In any case shammy pops heroism and you nuke boss .If you have the dps you will have plenty of time before watchers finish off main tank and make it back they are very slow. You will die but dont release you will get achievement. The reason you dont have main tank stay in and kill adds on last watcher is that when you pull that last watcher your chances of web wrap and confusion sets in greatly. Before you know it you will have 2 web wraps up and dieing.

No healer. Tank aggroes packs, hunter MDs one pack to tank so that he doesn't have to run much in room. Tank charges away using critter spiders up to "window" on way to entrance. Uses all CDs to stay alive as long as possible. Boss is nuked down with all CDs used by 4 dps. We did it in 7 seconds. All died but achievement was ours. :)

Lots of people here are going over the kiting strategy, but it's not necessary. I just did this by having our tank (DK) run in, grab EVERYTHING, and tank it all while we bursted the boss down in about 15 seconds. Group was:
Death Knight (Tank)
Priest (Healer)
Warlock
Warlock
Mage
We were decently geared, somewhere between tier 7 and tier 8.

Just did a random pug and our team composed of :
A Paladin tank (Me, Mostly Naxx 10 and 25 gear)
Holy Paladin healer
Elemental Shammy
Destro Warlock
Holy Priest
The strategy we used was as follows.
Attack Watcher Silthik and his adds, let the dps down his adds. Then pop divine protection and aggro Krik'thir. The rationale behind doing this was to reduce heals required at start, therefore ensuring that I get enough time to generate aggro. Our first attempt was a failure with the boss having only 7500+ hp. The second attempt was nice and clean, I had to pop my "Lay on hands" to live it out though.
I personally think that this achievement will be very easy with two tanks+ a pally healer. The first tank should Silthik and Gashra, and the second tank could tank the boss and Najra. And the pally healer can heal both with beacon of light. The rationale behind my advice is this : both Gashra and Silthik have an attack called "Infecting bite" that increases damage taken by 30%. I am assuming that their bites stack, so Gashra+Silthik+adds+boss = 60% more damage taken from boss and everyone else. Instead if Gashra and Silthik are tanked separately, the boss wont be hitting that hard anymore?
Good luck with your achievements!

we did this achievement with this setup
arcane mage
balance druid
combat rogue
elemental shaman (me)
feral druid
what we basically did was the druid pulled the guardians with hurricane and moonfire then ran in cat to the entrance. then me the rogue the mage the feral druid DPS'd the boss down with everything we got and we just killed him.
de druid and me where half pvp half HC geared and the rest 25 man. so you don't need an epic group. just half :P

This CAN be done without a healer believe it or not.
Prot paladin (33k hp)
Me (Affliction lock)
2 hunters
Druid (went boomkin just as a try :))
We used healthstone, paladin had a pot and lay on hands. Druid pre-hotted tank then hunters just MD'd EVERYTHING onto the tank. We were going for just blow him up as fast as possible. 10 seconds into fight, paladin went extremely low after all his cooldowns were blown. Druid died about 2 seconds after, then me then the other hunter. Due to all my dots being on the boss still and him having 20k HP the last hunter somehow survived and we got the boss down (with no healer and tank having whole first room on him) in 21 seconds :P
We wiped 2 seconds afterwards but we got the achievement :)
As long as you have 1 affliction lock and 3 insane dps, this is walk in the park.

We downed the boss in a matter of seconds.
Our group consisted of:
DK (frost - tank)
Shaman (resto dualspecced to enhancement)
Rogue (combat)
Druid (feral DPS)
Mage (fire)
The DK pulled ALL the adds and ran away whilst the rest of us nuked the boss.
The fight ended in a matter of seconds.
Good luck!

Did this today on our first try with a warrior tank, dk tank, resto shaman, boomkin and warlock. We killed
skirmisher, then caster, from left to right, while the DK gathered up the watchers. Earth shield, riptide and his swiftness pot got him out of there while the 4 of of us focused on the boss.
You need to prevent Watcher Narjil's Binding Webs, so we had 2 dedicated people focusing on interupiting that. They did a /focus Watcher Narjil, and then made a macro for /cast <interput spell>. Once the watchers have left the room, you can stop interrupting. DK tank died, so did boss. Everyone wins.

Just did this tonight, our group consisted of
Holy Paladin
Arcane Mage
Assassination Rogue
Prot Warrior(x2)
We had one warrior just grab all the watchers and run straight to the entrance with them and tank them for as long as possible before zoning out or dying. The other warrior would grab the boss and rogue and mage would immediately engage the boss soon as the warrior touched him. The rogue used tricks on the warrior just to ensure aggro would be held. We managed to get the achievement after 4 tries. DPS wasn't an issue, just having the tank stay alive initially was a problem(he was Fury at first but would die just way too fast so we had him go prot).

Setup:
Rogue (me)
Hunter
Lock
Resto Shammy
Prot War
We started by setting up a summon stone right at the entrance to the room with the boss.
We sent out a summon to the hunter before the pull
Our war tank popped a CD to get rage
At the same time I put TotT (my MD) on the Hunter and stealthed near the mobs on the far right (very quickly)
As soon as I was close to my group on the right, the hunter pulled the middle group and the group on the left
Still in stealth I pop sprint, and the second the hunter pulled, I used fan of knives to get the pack on the right to follow the hunter
Still sprinting, I hit the boss and sent him after the hunter (my TotT has ~1 sec left so everything has to happen quick)
The hunter put a frost trap down near the summon stone, and put on cheetah to run away (maybe disengage too). the adds chased him and got slowed down by the trap
While the boss was running towards the hunter, the tank (standing somewhere in the back of the room) taunted him. he didn't have to move much since the boss was already on the move (MD'ing the boss so we didn't have to kite him was the key to our success since the tank could build aggro faster and we could dps earlier)
Lock + Rogue started to dps
When the hunter got out of combat (either exit the instance, or FD, i'm not sure what he used) he accepted the summon and set up another frost trap near the summon stone
We popped CD's & heroism, and burn the boss down
The adds were on their way back, but slowed down by the 2nd frost trap (we had ~20-25 secs to kill the boss, and 30 secs in combat)
we got the achievement as died happy as the adds killed us

The tank took off all this gear, then put it on so the druid can HoT him enough to pull aggro.
After throwing the HoTs, he went kitty form and started heading to the exit while the tank headed to the boss, and single taunted him.
All the other adds went to the exit, and we nuked the hell out of him with Heroism, and all warrior cds (without heals)

Not difficult at all. For this Tactic you will need one Warrior Tank and one Paladin Tank. The rest of the group is up to you, though a healer would be advisable of course.
The Paladin Tank bubbles himself and runs into all groups so that he can pull them together. The warrior tank charges as soon as all mobs are gathered into them to generate rage and uses Thunder Clap as well as Shockwave. Through the Shockwave all mobs are stunned for 4 seconds and the warrior has a lot of time to run to the entrance and to wait there for the mobs to follow him.
Most likely the Boss would follow him too, so it is the Paladins job to taunt him and to use non aoe aggro-generating abilities. After all the Mobs are gone the Pally just tanks the boss and the rest of the group nukes him down while the warrior tries to hold off the mobs as long as he can with shield wall etc.
In our case the Boss was downed just after the Mobs had killed the Warrior tank, so the group would have theoretically had about 20 seconds more until they arrived downstairs again, because they walk really really slow. So theres plenty of time of you need it. This tactic worked on the first try and it was our second try for the achievement in general.
Good luck!

How we did it:
Pally (Tank)
Pally (dps)
Priest (healer)
DK (dps)
Hunter (dps)
Everyone but hunter stood far right in the room, and hunter pulled all watchers
Hunter lays down Frost trap and runs to entrance
When watchers reach him, hunter uses Deterrence for extra time
Hunter FD's - runs back fast and pulls watchers back again before they reach the rest
Meanwhile everyone has to nuke boss, we managed it on first try.
Pallys can use Holy wrath for stuns :)

Did this today after many fails.
Group make up was:
2 pallies (one prot, one holy(me))
1 dk (about 1800 dps in the gear/spec he had)
1 rogue(~2800 dps)
1 shaman(~2400 dps)
We had the dk get into tank gear. He wasn't even def capped, and his spec was for pvp. Next, we had the pally pull the farthest group with his shield, then he exorcised the middle group, and then taunt the first group (going left to right). Then, we made sure not to cast anything as he kited the mobs through a consecrate he laid down. We stayed to the right of the doorway you come through to get to the boss.
As they were kited up through the tunnel towards the entrance, the pally drank a swiftspeed potion (increase movement speed by 50% for 15 secs). Then the DK pulled the main guy back and kept him where he is initially. Keeping a cleansing totem down removed the poison almost instantly, so that was a great boon for us. We then blew bloodlust, army of the dead, basically went all out on him as the other adds followed the pally tank.
The pally tank died, and the adds came back to us. As the first came to us, I popped my holy wrath to prevent damage. We killed him, and the adds killed us. It was very satisfying. IMPORTANT! Make sure the healer stands in some sort of aoe of the tank on the Gatewatcher, otherwise the mini adds he spawns during the encounter will kill him.

After many, many hours of trying the kiting tactic, my group found it near impossible with our composition. The resto druid would instantly aggro all the adds, even with AoE taunt (it wore off before they left the room). Instead of simply throwing the towel in, we tried zerging it for @#$%s and giggles and got him to 17% first try. We waited for CDs, lo and behold, brute force works.
Feral Druid Tank
Resto Druid Heals
Enhancement Shaman
2x Unholy DK DPS
You'll still likely have to interrupt narjil's webs once and you will probably all die at the end, but hey... achievement unlocked.

This is a very difficult achievement for most. My group setup was me a feral druid (tanking), hunter, priest (healer), shaman, and a warlock. We tried killing smaller adds and keep the watchers hitting me, didn't work. So then we tried to rush him, ignoring all of the adds, we got him down to about 20% when Watcher Narjil starting casting blinding webs which kept blinding the healer making her unable to heal. We tried this about three times before we figured it wasn't going to work. On out last attempt we decided to have the warlock soulstone the healer. Also, the warlock summoned his doomguard. When we went in the priest died immediately. Our priest was holy and had Spirt of Redemption, for the next 20 second our priest had free heals without the mana and no interuptions on the heals. Once those 20 seconds were up the priest poped the SS and died right away again. Letting her heal through the blinds. Did this in about 5 tries. Easy enough if you have the right group.

Did this achievement today. It was very challenging ! Took a lot of tries (10+) but when we did it, everyone was very happy.
DK Frost DPS (me)
Feral Druid Tank
Ret Paladin DPS
DK Unholy DPS
Resto Shaman as Healer
What we did was that we pulled the three watchers one by one from left to right. We pulled them and killed the adds they are with, then pulled the next one. When all adds were dead, we switched to boss. At this point we blew all cooldowns plus Army of the Dead and Heroism. While armies distracted bosses and watchers, we downed the boss. We all died in the end but got the achievement :)
Biggest problem with the fight is cocoons and blinding webs. These two are the biggest problem, which the former slowing your dps, and preventing your healing and tanking, while latter stopping everything and mobs go for healer etc. But if you can survive until you get 3 watchers without adds and if you are on boss, you can do it.
Pretty challenging and fun achievement.

Just did this acheiv last night. Tried thinning out the adds as well as zergging to no avail. I know people are saying the kiting method doesn't work but that's how we got it.
We had a resto sham, 2 destro locks (about 4k dps each), a feral tank and a ret pally. Ret pally stood at the bottom of the hallway and feral tank went to FaerieFire boss. Pally laid consecration and the druid drug the group of mobs through the consecration while taunting off the boss. This gave the pally all the head start he needed. We even had time to do all the "rofl it worked" and "omg" before the watchers came back to destroy us.

Group Composition:
Prot Warrior
Hunter
Hunter
Resto Shamman
Holy Paladin (me)
Holy Paladin was the kiter. Hunters laid frost traps to give me some extra padding. I initially grabbed aggro by judging one skirmisher (40yd FTW) and using exorcism on the other and dropping consecration (2x) with righteous fury up. The hunter's MD'd the third group to me. It is mandatory that you (holy paladin) get damage aggro on the skirmishers as they have a very funny aggro behavior. The skirmishers move fast and can daze you (sacred sheild and holy shock and hammer of justice will get you to the entrance). As soon as you get to the entrance bubble. All the mobs but save for the one skirmisher (left hand, closest group) will begin running back to the rest of the group. DO NOT pop your bubble early. Let your bubble naturally expire and use turn evil on the skirmisher that is still with you. The watcher groups will all turn and come all the way back to the entrance when your bubble ends. This gives any decently geared group plenty of time with or with out bloodlust/heroism to kill the boss.
This is really easy if you follow these steps. It took about 1.5hrs for us to get them all sequenced right. The last attempt the adds were not even half-way back to me when the boss died, which meant the others had 20 - 30 secs more to spare.
NOTE: As soon as the boss dies run in to the pack and pop holy wrath. You should be able to get back to the group in time for them to pick up the packs and keep you alive.

Combat rogue
Fire mage
Paladin healer
Mage was on 1.8 k dps or something, I as a rogue was on 3.5 (and disconnected before the fight and logged back on when we pulled the third watcher) and the ele shaman on about 2.7. We just pulled one pack at a time, killed the adds, then ran for boss and popped heroism and got him down as 3 of us died. It was very easy really, no kiting or anything.

DK tank started the entire fight by popping army and pulling everything, no time was wasted as DPS headed to the boss to mass DPS the boss down, not much to really say when it was only 21 seconds? Tank went down at second 20, everyone else went down at second 21. we bearly got the boss down and got lucky, really lucky! Healer did not pop divine shield, I did not pop divine shield. Healer did not pop Holy Wrath (everything is undead, 3/21 seconds of stunned is a great help! I did pop mine, so with healers it could of been 6/21 seconds of everything being stunned.). Not sure what all the tank popped during the 21 second fight. But we were able to take down the main boss with brute force, with a little bit of luck on our side. Mages, they did their thing :P and it shows!

A tactic that worked well for my group was pulling the nearest two groups one by one and quickly killing the non-Watcher adds off them and then pulling the boss right after. The third group will aggro when the boss is pulled so the tank needs to grab that pack quickly. With this killing order the random-aggro Skirmishers are out of the picture and the tactic is sort of a happy medium between rushing the boss and clearing adds.
In this particular group the tank was a T8 Feral Druid but people with lesser gear could compensate with various cooldowns.
Also the tank should try to predict incoming damage and pop cooldowns before a web wrap / web spray since many abilities aren't available when affected by those debuffs.

After endless amounts of wipes and strategy building for this achievement, I finally got a group that got it. It took us 3 tries. We were all in Naxx25 gear along with a couple Ulduar pieces here and there.
GROUP
1 warrior (tank during this fight)
1 shaman (heals during this fight)
1 druid (boomkin during this fight)
1 paladin (tank during this fight)
1 death knight (DPS during this fight)
Our first two attempts consisted of the Paladin tank pulling the 3 groups individually then myself (the warrior) pulling the boss and having the Shaman use Heroism while we went crazy on the boss. The best we got with this strategy was 40%. The web wraps, blinds, etc. became too much.
Our third and successful attempt was the all out rush/kite ad strategy. With this, we had the Paladin pick up all 3 groups simultaneously then proceed to run to the entrance of Azjol-Nerub, while laying down Concecrate. Once the groups got past the group, we immediately jumped on the boss. We popped all our cooldowns immediately. Our healer put a few HoTs on the Paladin while he kited them away then returned to heal me for the rest of the fight. Two ads got away from the Pally so I ended up having to tank them too, but at the cost of a dead Death Knight.
The Paladin got Web Wrapped and lost aggro, but upon using Hand of Freedom regained all his aggro and continued to kite them to the door. Once he got there, he popped any and all survivability cooldowns, except Lay on Hands because it was on cooldown. He also used a health pot. All these spells enabled him to last against the ads for significantly longer than we predicted, a mere 30 seconds from pull to door. He even took a beating for a few seconds before he died.
Once he died the ads, of course, aggro'd everyone else still alive. At this point the boss was at about 25% and we were on vent with me screaming "Burn burn burn! Faster! Dot him up! Do something! Kill faster!" We were anticipating the ads anytime. They got our healer first. Boss at 5%. Next the boomkin and me. Boomkin dead. ~1%. I pop all my cooldowns, Spell Reflect, Shield Block, and of course, Shield Wall. That was enough to allow me to kill the boss and engrave the experience and achievement in our heads. The second the boss died you could really hear the excitement over Vent, "YES!" "OH MY GOD! FINALLY!" "YESSSSS!" For some of us this was our 50th+ attempt trying this damned achievement. But we finally got it.

Did this a few nights ago and this was our strategy:
Pally Tank
Ele Shaman
Holy Pally
Blood DK
Hunter
I'm the hunter so what we did was I proceeded to hit the boss then FD'd. This resets everyone including the Guardians and we had the entire group (except me) run on the ramp behind the boss. The boss respawns in about 20-30 secs it appears so I got up and laid an explosive trap to one of the guardians on the far right which triggered upon their spawn. I quickly nuked the other 2 guardians to grab aggro while the rest of my group aggro'd the boss from behind. I laid a frost as I ran back to the entrance, got killed about half way up, but the group had enough dps to finish the boss in time before the guardians got back up. I won't lie but having a shaman lust really helped to pull this through.
We ended up wiping but got the achievement in the process. Good luck to the rest of you, keep in mind I'm survival so I had an easier time with traps, etc. Hope this helps!

Just did it tonight with totally new strategy. The group composition was:
Feral druid (me), prot paly, retri paly, ele shammy and destro lock.
Warlock made a summoning portal in boss room, then with retri paly and shammy left instance. Then we summoned them back, but they didnt accept yet. I gone stealth and prot paly pulled all mobs, used bubble, swiftness potion and run thru instance door. I shouted on vent and rest of group accepted summon. I pulled Krik'thir and we started to burn him down (no healer). Meanwhile paly tank died of adds but before they came back, we killed him. We all died because of frenzy, but we got achievement. Trick with summoning portal worked very well, so keep spot for lock in your group. Good luck!

Group makeup for this was Pally tank/rogue/moonkin/hunter/mage.
We had a hard time with the skirmishers so we opened with a fear from the pally to one, and a root to the other. The paladin then aggroed the rest (with help from misdirect) and ran for the entrance.
Our combat rogue managed to evasion tank the boss long enough to down him while we zerged. Just for a bit of extra damage, we had the rogue vanish as evasion ran out so the boss had to run to the rest of us while still being dps'd by all four of us.
Our average dps was below 3k.

- DK Tank( me)
- DK Tank
- Dk Dps
- Holy Pala
We had the less-geared tank(me) pull the first group, kill adds, then second and third group same procedure. then we had the tank who was on the 3 watchers take them to the back of the room. Healers stood in the middle of the room, and if one got webbed the other used his cd. Meanwhile the other tank+dps went for boss. We took them down real slow. The only problem was infact if the tank got webbed in wich case the other tank taunted them of the healer standing in the middle and stayed there untill webbed tank got free. Paladin can help alot with bubbles and HoF. Basiaclly just get 2 Tanks, 2 Healers and 1 Dps. We prefered Dk's as they have army of dead and even Dk tanks can put out great DPS.

Just did this with the following group:
Tank - decently geared Prot Paladin in mostly blues and some purples
DPS - Unholy DK with Naxx 25/Uld10 gear
DPS - Chaos Warlock with Naxx25/Uld10 gear
Healer - Holy Priest in Naxx25/Uld10 gear
Kiter - Resto/Boomkin druid with Naxx25/Uld10 gear
The druid pulled the three groups with moonfire and then changed to bear while heading toward the instance. As soon as his last moonfire hit, the rest of the group charged the boss and started focus dps. About halfway through some of the smaller adds started returning to the group. The druid managed to keep the attention of the watchers (e.g. stayed alive) until we had the boss around 35%. When they returned, we continued focusing on the boss with the healer spam healing himself and the tank (PoM, Binding heal, etc).
FYI, once the boss dies, the adds DO NOT despawn, so if you use this strat expect to die once you've killed the boss unless your healer has an abundance of mana and your tank can hold super agro. But honestly, who cares... you've just completed one of the harder heroic achievements in the game! =)
We made 2 previous attempts with a hunter in place of the druid trying to kite, and both times the hunter died too early. I think if we'd had a shaman as one of the boss dps, we probably could have done it with the hunter kiting (bloodlust and poison cleansing) but without, we couldn't push out enough dps before the hunter died and the watchers headed back to slam the tank and healer. Your tank should be able to hold fast and solid agro for this since you can't wait to start dps on the boss once the pull is made.
Good luck!

I ran some well geared guildies through AN just to get this. After wiping a few times I decided to have one of our paladins go Holy and assist with heals (With a shammy). We pulled the 2 mobs that contain skirmishers first and dropped the skirmishers along with the other smaller adds without using AoE, then I taunted the last watcher as I ran to boss and put down Death and Decay for aggro control. DPS then went all out. As soon as I aggro'd boss with watchers on me I popped Icebound Fortitude, Anti-Magic Shield, and Vamp Blood (Glyphed to last 30 seconds). We burned it easily without a wipe to adds. Being a blood tank helps a LOT in this situation if you can hold aggro. Just remember to spam Blood Boil here and there to hold down aggro on the adds while your tanking boss. If raid gets aggro on adds before boss is down it's a wipe. If you have an outstanding healer you can probably 1 heal it this way. I hear about people that just zerg with 1 heal, but that was fail for us.

Just got this. Pala tank, Shaman healer, boomkin and rogue. Me the mage, was to be the decoy. I pulled the group on the left with flamestike. Shaman had earth bind totem down. I run away up towards the entrance and just live as long as possible, and holding aggro on them. Meanwhile the other 4 nuked with bloodlust. I inevitably died but still got the achievement. Would work really well if I was frost specced.

We did this as:
Frost DK (me)
Blood Dk full pvp gear
Holy priest
Resto drood
Fury Warrior
I pulled the first watcher at left hand, we killed the adds. same story on the middle one, then i did cast Death & Decay on The First watcher at the right hand. and began to run back to the entrance with the resto drood, then the DK started to tank Boss, I popped Icebound Fortitude & Unbreakabel armor and trinket. The resto druid started heal spam, took them around 19 sec to get me down then they ignored our drood and ran back for our priest, the druid did Go in to bear form and used Challencing shout. Of some reason 2 dps did get the 100k down before the watchers did return... No army was used, dammed CD =)
This took us 4 tries to get him but it worked, Key is to pull the watchers back. GL evryone :D

Here is how you can do it with Naxx10 gear only and decent players.
This is by far the easiest strat, with a good compromise between burst and kiting.
1 Warrior/Paladin
1 Deathknight
1 Shaman
1 Priest/Druid (heal)
1 Lock/Hunter/Unholy dk (pet helps, but not mandatory)
Step 1:
Warrior/paladin pulls left group
Kill both adds
Step 2:
Warrior pulls middle group
Kill both adds
Step 3:
Deathknight pulls right group
Warrior taunts Guardian
Healer heals Warrior to full
Warrior stuns the three Guardians and goes to the instance entrance
Deathknight goes for the boss with the two adds
Step 4:
Fire Elem, Army, Bloodlust, all cooldown, dps the boss
Warrior uses all cooldowns to survive as long as possible (+ Soulstone and mass taunt if up)
Step 5:
Get the achievement and die happy
Notes:
- Poison cleansing totem is mandatory. Put it down then forget about it, it ticks faster than the first poison tick.
- Pet macro to kill cocoons helps a lot
- Warrior should keep his heroic throw for the last Guardian
- Group should move with the DK and stay close to him to be as fast as possible far from the last Guardian, and to be in the death and decay.

Our group makeup:
Feral druid (tank)
Holy paladin
Fire mage
Elemental shaman
Survival hunter
At first we tried pulling each watcher and adds individually, killing the adds, and then pulling the boss. This didn't work because of the web wraps and the disorient effect. The method we used to kill him was as follows:
The holy paladin put on enough resilience gear to become uncrittable. We then pulled each group individually and killed the adds, but as soon as all of the adds were down our tank went cat and sprinted back to the entrance of the instance without zoning out. There, he popped all of his cooldowns and survived all three of the watchers for as long as he could. Meanwhile, the holy paladin put righteous fury on and taunted the boss, holding aggro with heals on himself and occasional holy shocks and judgements. The shaman popped heroism and we were able to kill the boss before the boss made it back down and killed the dps.

This ach is definitely one of the Sir Steven Redgrave moments in the game.
"If you ever see me (in a boat) (trying this ach again) you've got my permission to fu**ing shoot me"
And there should be an achievement just for getting a group for this one, as it is so notoriously difficult to do the ach, that most ppl just dont want a repair bill.
I have spent many attempts trying various strategies for this ach, plus a lot of g on repairs and pots. And here are my observations.
Full Zerg method, you need a huge amount of luck that your healer doesn't get webbed, and that you dont get other party members multi webbed either. But regardless of that, the tank is pulling so much dmg, and the other party members are taking so much aoe that it is almost impossible to keep the group alive long enough.
Pull each group seperately method. Even harder than full zerg. Pack on left is easy to kill while keeping watcher up. You'll then get by random either the one in the middle or right, but regardless of which, the group is getting hit by webs, poisons and other, and it's a miracle if you even manage to down the adds while leaving the watchers up. I've never seen a group even get to the boss using this method.
OT take aggro on the left pack, down adds, pulls 2nd pack then MT takes pack on right and boss method. Stop dreaming.
And now (barring a paladin with rocket boots) here is one of the more correct methods, and the one that worked for my group.
Firstly take people who you know.
I took a geat MT I know with Ulduar gear, a paladin healer/dps who I wanted as the OT (he had successfully tanked the Guardians in Old Kingdom for the ach there) a v high dps DK and I did want a shammy healer friend for 'heroism' (but they weren't available at the time of try) so we made do with a druid healer.
Basically have the MT, healer and 2nd dps stand in the boss room and to the right with their backs to the wall.
OT (pala healer) stands next to entrance equipped with a swiftness potion.
Rogue (me) pops evasion then uses Tricks of Trade on OT, pulls watcher on the right with Throw, and then watcher in middle with throw, then runs towards the watcher on the left and uses vanish (there just isnt enough time for a 3rd throw before ToT runs out) if you are unlucky and that last watcher doesn't go, you will only be left with the easiest watcher plus the boss.
As soon as watcher on the right starts coming, OT uses swiftness potion and runs for the instance's entrance.
MT, healer and dps then burn on the boss.
1st attempt I died before vanish hid me, and rest of group got boss to about 50k (but with a shammy healer or dps) we would have undoubtedly got the ach with heroism.
2nd, 3rd, 4th attempt, we tried strategies listed above.
5th attempt, back to ToT on OT, heartbreakingly, with 1 watcher and its adds still there, group wiped when boss was less than 2k, maybe even less than 1k.
6th attempt, ToT on OT again, vanish worked on last pack, all watchers and adds running for OT, and we made it before the watchers even came back.

Yesterday we did this pretty simply with me (Rogue) stealthing up to the right group as close as i could. I released stealth and sprinted back to the entrance while making sure to sprint close enough to the other 2 groups to agro them.
Then the rest of the group tank/spanked the boss down (prot warrior, warlock, retri paladin, enh shaman).
After that u all... "get the achievement" and "die"...
*1 time we wiped due to the Paladin using a JoL, which caused the adds to leave the kiting rogue and attack the Paladin due to selfhealing... no healing whatever is the key to this tactics I guess... so be carefull what spells u use.
After this we did the second boss achievement;
Hadronox Denied
, with the same group (also without any healing).
I agroed first group, then vanished to despawn all adds. After they despawned all 5 of us ran down as fast as we could and tank/spanked Hadronox down (near the hole in the web where u jump to 3d boss).
After that we just nuked down all the little spiders (the spiders didnt even arrive untill we looted the boss), walked back, I again did the agro/vanish trick on the elite group to make them despawn and we simply walked out of the instance with no 1 dying this time...
Good luck, any half decent geared pug with a skilled tank, a rogue and 3 other (random) dps can easily do this (heroism is always nice ofc).

2 healers: Paladin and Priest.
1 Paladin tank.
1 DK and 1 Warlock.
We pulled each group one by one and killed the two adds, leaving the watcher up and moving on.
We used all available stuns on the Watchers when we engaged the boss and the two DPS burned him down asap. Each has about 4k dps, trying it with less won't work. The stuns are needed to prevent the group from being constantly web wrapped. When he's low and you're out of stuns, throw all dot abilities you can think of, healers, dps, tanks, all of you.
Luck is a huge factor, hopefully the tank doesn't get wrapped too often, but having two healers definitely made this possible for us. Two strong dps, two healers, BAM.
Also, we were all pirates. This was CRUCIAL.

Just did this using a 4 dps 1 tank setup. Group was:
Destro Lock (me)
Enhance Shaman
Prot Pally
Combat Rogue
Boomkin
we tried burning with 3 DPS, we tried kiting, we tried killing off the adds sans watchers and none of it worked, so we decided screw it and just went and it worked perfectley first try

Does the blinding webs still hit you when you're turned away? Could have OT tank all 3 guardians with back turned, like they used to for Moroes, while other tank tanks the boss.

We did it a similar way.
Setup:
Destruction-Warlock
(me)
Tank-Druid
Moonkin-Druid
Holy-Paladin
Enhancement-Shaman
Tactic:
First the
Tank-Druid
charged into the middle pack, used his aoe taunt and started tanking them all.
Then we made sure that he had them all under control before the
Enhancement-Shaman
popped
Heroism
.
After that we just nuked the boss until he was dead.
Notes:
The
Enhancement-Shaman
used
Poison Cleansing Totem.
We all wore and used PvP-trinkets against wrap.
It took a few tries, don't give up too soon.
Don't worry about wiping after you get the achievment.
Works with any kind of tank, just have them use all their cooldowns.

OK, here is
by far
the easiest way to do this achievement.
What you need: a boomkin (gear doesn't matter), a reasonably geared tank, and 3 DPS in the 3k+ range (preferably including a shaman but this is not required)
How it's done: Everyone groups up at the entrance to Krik'thir's cave, a little bit to the right of the tunnel. The boomkin needs to get as close as possible to the mobs without aggroing them. Have him cast Starfall, which pulls every mob in the room -- possibly including the boss if he's close enough, so the tank needs to be ready with taunt. The boomkin needs to wait for about 2 pulses of Starfall to make sure all 3 mini-boss packs are aggroed. Then he needs to turn his feathery butt around and Dash up the tunnel as fast as he can! If he's quick, he should be out of LOS before he can be web wrapped. Meanwhile, the tank and 3 DPS rush the boss, with the tank popping CDs to stay alive. If the boomkin needs the achievement, he can let the mobs kill him at the entrance, otherwise he can simply zone out; either way, the tank and DPS have plenty of time to kill Krik'thir before the trash comes back. We killed him with easily 10 seconds to spare, using a shaman.
This method works MUCH better than zerging. I spent a lot of time, frustration and repair bills trying to zerg this achievement with an Ulduar-geared tank, healer, and DPS. While we did get very close a couple of times, the wrong person always ends up getting web wrapped and killing your chances. By contrast, the above method is extremely easy and works 100% of the time if done right. We two-shotted it, after an initial mishap figuring out the pull. It also has much lower gear requirements and doesn't require any specific comp other than a boomkin (who doesn't even have to be geared -- any random scrub can do that part, or any random druid who doesn't mind respeccing for one fight, even if they've never played boomkin before).

This is really easy to do,we had Well Geared dps and a Shaman.
Our Tank who was a Prot paladin just pulled him straight up,we popped all cooldowns and Bloodlusted and bursted down 345k health in the 6 second time frame of initial aggro that our Paladin had. After we just killed the Watchers one at a time. All you really need is a good healer, good tank, and good dps.

Holy Paladin, using the Valyn'r Legendary... nuff said
Random Hunter
Caster Shaman

I walked in, taunted the mob on the left, tossed my shield at the one on the right, consecrated, then smacked the boss in his face.
He died in 21 seconds... I lol'd hard.

This achievement isn't hard at all. I just joined a random pug-group for the H AN daily and we thought "why not try it, it can't hurt".
Our setup was:
1 Druid (tank)
-
37k'ish hp, mostly ilevel 200-213
1 Shaman (heals)
-
about the same ilevel-wise, maybe a bit better
3 Warlocks
- Average ~
3/5 t8 (4/5 myself) and ilevels around 213-219
We didnt use the
potion
, we didnt use any tactic. The druid just went in, pulled them all, bloodlust and we burned him down.
Unfortunately, we did wipe at 24k hp. We would've gotten it if we wernt really unlucky at one point, and two of the locks were wrapped for several seconds. The other guys just wanted to get going, so that was acually our only try.
But I think this proves that this is a very easy achievement to get. If we could get him to 24k hp with..
A non-preferable group setup
No
potion
No specitic tactic what so ever
...you most certainately
can
do it using those three things that we didn't. Heck, swap a warlock or three for arcane mages and you'd be walking over this achievement.
Good luck!

Just did this with a Tier8-geared group:
- Feral Druid (Tank)
- Feral Druid (DPS)
- Warlock
- Retribution Pally
- Holy Pally
I ran in and aggro'd everyone. I immediately popped Barkskin and Survival Instincts, but waited about 5 seconds to pop Frenzied Regen. After a few swipes, I focused on Mangle/Lacerate on the boss. The first couple of times, we wiped when I was webbed. The final time, pally interventions kept me from being webbed and we tore through them.

Along the same lines...
The group revolves around a destro pvp speced warlock (needs shadowfury) and a hunter/rouge. The idea is to get all the threat onto the warlock (less the boss) and have the warlock teleport with his demonic portal.
When you enter AN, there is an opening looking into the first chamber, around here is where you want to put your demonic circle. Be careful though, there is a steep part of the terrain that you can't climb up, so make sure you put the portal just past that. Once you clear to the room, walk around the back of the room and test to see if you are in range to teleport. Once this is all set, get ready to pull.
We had the warlock use rain of fire on the middle group, the second it hits once (about 1 GCD) use shadowfury on the group to your right and turn to run and teleport. As you pull the first group, have your hunter or rouge misdirect or tricks you the remainning group. Take your teleport and run to the portal. You should have plenty of time to reach the portal (if you don't need the achievement) or run to the portal and take it like a man, if you do.
We got this on the second try (first try we missed the misdirect).

If you're going for glory of the hero, this is probably going to be one of the last ones you get, because it does require certain class abilities for whatever you try. I did it using 2 tanks, 2 healers strategy, sort of a slow and steady deal. The group was
Holy Paladin
Shadow Priest (Me wearing healing gear, the thought being I could help dps if healng isn't too tough)
Survival Hunter
Feral Druid (tanking boss)
Prot Pally (tanking watchers)
We burned all the non-watcher adds, and then the druid changed to bear form and I started healing. This method can be very intense, though that may be because we didn't have cleansing totem. Pally kept an eye out for blinding webs, stunning when he could, though we still had a few casts get through. If you do this, I recommend getting a
wintergrasp pvp trinket
, so you can get some passive spellpower and a pvp trinket effect. At about 20k, the bear died, so the pally picked up the boss, and I started nuking as hard as I could. After the boss died, we managed to mop up the watchers easily enough.
Best of luck to everyone, make sure you press-gang a shaman into coming for cleansing totem and bloodlust!

bla bla bla...this achiv is so easy. here is what the crazy tactics we did.
1-warrior tank
4- dps (yes no heals)
NOTE; the dps must be shammy for BL + dk cuse he will do the trick.
this doesnt need any tactics what so ever...bring your DK and make him use army of dead..then attack.
the army will taunt and tank all mobs in. in this time shammy POP BL/heroism and BURN. he is about 300k
so it wont be that hard. also note when the army died. i used my AoE taunt ''challenging shout'' at this time i pop
my CD to SW last stand etc etc.
by that time he was dead. and ofc no heals and the angry 3 mini boss still in we wiped but got the achiv ^^
its really pretty easy that way..gl in it :)

I've now done this successfully twice and learnt a lot about how not to do it...
We tried taking out the adds but leaving the watchers up and having someone attempt to off-tank them. The web wrapping caused repeated wipes doing that. We tried just off-tanking all the mobs - that just led to an even faster wipe.
We tried just zerging the boss - very quick wipe running in to do so. We did much better when we all stood behind where he spawns after we'd triggered a reset. But the dps required to pull that off before the adds roflstomp you is huge (and we were a pretty well Ulduar+ geared group).
We tried having a hunter kite them up the corridor using his pet and then himself. The hunter had some trouble pulling all 3 groups but ultimately our first successful attempt was doing it that way. That was with a very skilled hunter with a tanking pet (the non-tanking pet just died way too fast) and the hunter spent most of the encounter at 8 HP and only just lasted long enough for us to take the boss down before the adds returned to roflstomp us. I believe he used 2 different traps - one to slow the adds down, one to get some aggro on them (we had some issues with pulling adds back as we started on the boss if he hadn't actively damaged them). In the cases where he pulled the groups and the boss, it was a very quick wipe. Our successful attempt was the only one where he pulled all 3 mobs and not the boss and was going to be our final attempt that evening.
On our second attempt with a different hunter, the hunter didn't have a tanking pet and was less practiced at this kind of kiting so we didn't even get close to succeeding.
However, on our second attempt we had two geared prot pallies. So we had the off tank pally pull the adds up the corridor. In theory, with exorcism, the shield spell (forget it's name), and hand of reckoning he was able to range pull all 3 groups and get a great head start. However, in both attempts doing it this way, the shield pull failed - seemingly because it was hitting the target already pulled by exorcism rather than the newly targeted one. On the second attempt, the hunter was ready for that possibility and was able to fix it via misdirection. This method worked really well. We had huge amounts of time to take the boss down before the adds returned. The healer had switched to shadow spec since I (main tank) am well enough geared that I can survive most heroic boss fights just with my own self-healing seals/judgements even without his shadow heals. However he went down early (not sure what by - maybe one add stayed, I was kind of busy!) so we basically 3-manned the boss and still finished him in about half the time we had available thanks to the kiting up the corridor by the OT. I think the hunter also got taken out (it was late at night by this point and my recollection is very hazy!) but late in the fight leaving just me and the druid by the end. I suspect if we'd all survived the boss fight, we could then have taken out the adds as they came trickling back rather than all at once. As it was, we took out a couple before they downed me (druid switched to heals but it wasn't enough by that point).
So having tried multiple failed approaches and 2 successful, the off tank ranged pull up the corridor was by far the easier and seemed very repeatable but the hunter kite up the corridor, while doable, seemed much harder to pull off. Any tank-capable class with 3+ ranged pulls should be able to pull that one off. Our pally had the speed increasing talents which likely helped him stay (well) ahead of the mob. But a potion should easily substitute nicely for that. I'd definitely recommend trying this approach first. Having a hunter to fix any failed pulls using misdirection just helps solidify your chances.

Cleared this in 3.2.2, after trying various strategies and wiping a couple times. Kiting is definitely the easiest way to go.
Party setup doesn't really matter.. What seems to be the fastest & easiest way is to have the tank to pick up all the mobs from the right to the left, then run back towards the entrance and have the rest of the party burn down Krik'thir the Gatewatcher asap. However, the issue with this is that when your tank dies, the boss will reset.
So what we did:
- Tank pulled all the mobs from right to left and then ran off to the entrance
- Mage pulled 1 warrior out of the mob (you might be able to have a dps do the first attack instead, then have the tank pick up all the mobs)
- Ignore the warrior and kill the boss asap

Rogues and Paladin where in t9.
Warrior in t8
Shaman was in t8
Warrior runs in, pops shield wall/last stand.
Shaman gets boped and spams chain heal with Bloodlust.
DPS just nuke the boss (forget the other boss/adds)
Don't give up. It's hard.
We had a lucky web on one of the Rogues and not the healer, so the healer could remain spamming.

We did this with a typical tank, 3dps + healer group - one dps was hunter, everyone with gearscores around 4300. It only took one shot with this strat, I am sure it could be tuned if you had to buy extra time to make up for dps being lower than what we may have had.
-Everyone start inside the room to the right
-Hunter lays frost at the door, then backs up to just stay within LOS of boss/watchers
-Send in pet after center watcher - let him die (my cat was stealthed on the way in)
-Watchers and adds will now pursue hunter, but with such a headstart - they have no chance of actually catching up, so no need for AoCheetah, speed potions, bubbles, or anything fancy
-Lay more frost near top of the tunnel (assuming you timed your first trap properly)
-Balance of group should have no problem burning down boss while adds chase Hunter to entrance
Hunter never left instance, delayed adds/watchers as much as possible with traps, deterrence, etc then just died ftw. Group had no problems downing boss before any watchers returned to assist.
Group wipes once all watchers return.
-Chasten, Hunter, Alexstrazsa

After trying a lot of strategies, my group was ready to give up on this one.
But then, one of us had a brilliant idea...
I, the healer (holy pala), respecced Retri for Pursuit of Justice.
Our tank, a prot warrior, charged in at the boss, using no ability that would give him threat on the adds.
As he began running, I cast Holy Light on him. As he reached the boss, the heal hit him and I aggroed all the
adds. I then kited the adds up towards the entrance, using pots and sacred shield to stay alive as long as possible.
Meanwhile, the warrior tank used all his cd's to stay alive while the dps burned the boss down.
To recap:
- Tank charges in, gets threat only on boss
- Healer casts heal on tank to get aggro on the adds
- Healer kites adds to entrance
- Tank stays alive while dps burns the boss down
This worked very nicely for us, hope it will help you out too ^^

Greetings,
This achievement is not so hard as it seem. We did it with the following setup: 4 paladins (2 prot, 1 healer and 1 dps) + 1 Death Knight.
What you need to do is to pull the groups separately, and kill the small mobs. Then when only the watchers are left the tank run up towards the exit with them. In the mean time the party nuke the boss. By the time the tank is dead, the boss should be down. Each of one of the dps need to be at least 3k dps. If you fail one time, keep trying.

We did this achievment today in a couple of tries
Our group:
Protection Warrior
Protection Paladin
Moonkin (me)
Shadow Priest
Restoration Shaman
First I pulled the 3 groups of adds and dashed to the entrance. I did a mistake and instead of pulling with starfall and dash away, i pulled them by running near to them. First try they killed me whie i was trying to run away, on the next try paladin bubbled me but i didnt have much agro so the healer got agro and we wiped again. We could probably do it that way but we didnt want to wipe again so we tried another tactics.
First we killed all the little adds, then the warrior tanked the watchers and the paladin tanked the boss. Shaman poped herosim and we just nuked the boss.
We got the achievment but it was only because we were all well geared. For a party that is not geared well i suggest that you get a rogue/druid that gets the adds and sprints/dashes away and a pally that bubbles him, while the rest of the group nukes the boss.
Good Luck

Used Army of the dead, heroism and all we had, very easy. We weren't so good geared either, all had around 4.5k Gearscore.

After attempting the druid starfall-dash, and the ZERG ZERG ZERG, we found this intricate dance of the desperate aggro-hog warrior to be the victorious one. We downed the boss with only the 2nd tank still up and blowing CD's to seal the deal, but the achievement is well worth the repair bills.
And it was a good time!

We just pulled this off and it was surprisingly easy with two priests and three pallies. Our tank bubbled, grabbed all of the adds and watchers, and ran like hell to the entrance. As soon as he was out of range the rest of us zerged the boss. BAM! There's very little more to it than that.

This is how we did it
Group Composition
Warrior tank 35k HP 550 Def
Rogue
Resto Druid
2x Hunter
Strategy - Simple. Warrior charges boss and takes aggro on everything
DPS nukes boss until dead. Pop shieldwall, block and last stand right after you reach the boss.
Presto. Very simple, dont bother with killing the smaller adds and leaving watchers just get aggro and dps the %^&* out of the boss. You will probably die after but who cares right you got the achievement? :)

We just did this Death knight tank pulls all groups and moves away with them, still in range of healer. War tank grabs boss and everyone nukes the boss down.

Just did this tonight with Rogue, Pally Tank, DK Tank, Tree and Resto Shammy.
Did the kill adds method, then pulled the 3 watchers away with the Druid/Pally tank and killed the boss with the other 3.
We have tried Zerg, 1 Tank, Tunnel drag, etc, all met with failure, this method, 1 shotted.

Really fun achievement!
This is how I did it.
Tank: Warrior
Healer: Holy Paladin
Dps: Rogue, Mage, Hunter (None above 4k dps)
Tank pulled the whole room and popped all his CD's. As we didn't have any Heroism we just wen't mad and dps'ed old style.
After a few seconds the boss spawned a &*!@load of adds that jumped the healer. So I (mage) used frostnova around em and healer moved few steps away so he didn't got hit while casting.
Healer also got wrapped. But here's a tip if you are a human. When you notice you're about to get wrapped use your racial "trinket" (Every man for himself). You don't get wrapped and saves loads of time.
At this point he was around ~20% and we started to loose health.. Tank dies and healer had around 10%. All the adds and the boss go for healer who uses Lay on hands on me. The boss was so low on health now and I manage pop PoM + FFB and BOOM he's down.
And we got the achievement.

Extremely hard achievement without kiting or other cheese
Setup:
BDK (me)
FDK
Disc priest
Elem shaman
Rogue
Prep:
- Get flasks and food as well as
Free Action Potion
- Use 2 Armies of Dead 15s before pull
- Lust 1s before pull
Pull:
- Tank goes in and try to get as much aoe aggro
- Rest tries to zerg boss
- 10s in everyone should use
Free Action Potion
- Whenever Army of Dead is over start using defensives (DONT USE THEM ALL AT ONCE)
- 22-24s in, use AMS to negate 3x30% damage taken debuff
- At this point use any knockback/slow/root/stuns effects to win some time
If you wiped under 10% try spreading defensives better/try to get better rng on avoiding hits or getting more crits
If you wiped above 10% you are most likely need better gear
