Tinhead is part of the Theater Event.

He comes along with Dorothee, Roar, Strawman and Later Tito the Dog.

He is the easiest of the Group. Just start Tanking him, and have an Icemage nuke him with Frostbolts, Rank 1 works too. After a short while, he is so slow, that you can kite him very easy. Just run in an Circle on the stage.
We killed Strawman first, then Roar, Tito was no problem either.
Then full DPS on Tinhead, he cant do any Damage cause he is running after the Person highest on his Aggro List ( A Tank by us ) So just an Easy Kill. We did Dorothee at the End.

After all Down, the Main Boss The Crone appears. All these mobs have no loot except the Crone.

He is slowable, but don't bother unless a shamman wants to kite, a mage will have a lot of trouble. At 85%, reguardless of frost spells, he'll be very slow and easily kitable, generally by whoever kited him.

He's easily kitable by a mage.

Rank 1 frostbolt + fireblast and kite him in a circle. The only thing to worry about is healing aggro and to make sure he moves in a circle and not across the circular stage.

Wait until he gets relatively close to you. You should stand at the edge. When he gets close run around the circle. Chill rinse repeat. The fireblasts are to overcome healing aggro, to make sure he doesn't pound some poor healer.

Do NOT use frost nova or any freeze, Break frostbite procs immediately. He gets frozen and starts hitting anyone in melee range. So a mage without frostbite is preferable.

Contrary to popular (and incorrect) belief, frost spells have no effect on the rusting of Tinhead; only time allows the stacking of more "rusting" on Tinhead.

Sunder Armor causes Tinhead to be slowed. When applied 5 times his movement is at about 80% and then stacks as you apply more and more. with enough sunders he will move at 10% movement speed, permitting the tank to kite him. Keep applying sunders and moving around him, his cleave can kill casters and melee, so either ask for space or run back and forth between the walls popping shield block and applying another sunder as you run past. As more of the other adds go down, you'll find that you have more and more space to move him around.

My guild's tactic:

Have the Tanks build aggro on their targets, whilst all dps burns down Dorothee (1st). Have a Mage/Warlock pick-up Strawman, and a Warrior on Tinhead. Roar should also be tanked, possibly by a Druid.
When Dorothee is killed, move dps onto Tito (2nd) and Roar (3rd). Tank should be kiting Tinhead by now, and mage/warlock should have lowered the Strawman most of the way.
Swap DPS to Strawman (4/5th) and get him down whilst mage continues to tank.
Finally, move on to Tinhead (5/4th), focusing DPS and Healing when the Tank moves in to Melee range.
When the crone appears, someone shouts out the whirlwind location, and everyone moves away. The crone should be tanked against the wall, with ranged DPS on the opposite wall, avoiding the cyclone and moving all the time. She is fairly flimsy, so the rest of the fight should be cake.

That's the way my guild has always done this attempt, and it is yet to fail us. =) We take down Dorothee first as her bolts are unpredictable, and can be difficult to heal through for healers if they are also keeping the tanks alive.

It is possible to have a rogue tank tinhead if you are short on tanks, I just did it. I was pvp spec when i did so i had double evasion, just get a good aggro lead goin pop evasion, Grace of air totem if u have a shaman and ghostly strike, then let the kite fest begin ez loots.

This boss bugged and became unatackable when I tried to do this with 5 other level 80's, perhaps we did too much damage too quickly. Couldn't do anything about it so the raid disbanded >:(

If you look closely at his 3D model, you can clearly see there's a human under the plate armor! Perhaps he's not as much "mechanical" as a human wearing life-support Power Armor?

The Wizard of Oz Karazhan event consists of Dorothee, Tito, Strawman, Tinhead, Roar and, after they are down, The Crone. This fight is all about controlling the other bosses whilst you kill whoever is the priority. The kill order isn't fixed, but some kill orders are much easier than others.
