When he stops, he'll wait until you're ready to go. Then you'll have to talk to him and put in the command, that's where a lot of people join his "leroy".

He hops on a mount, which is a regular mount. Not an epic mount. It's the same mount as the one Paladin's get at level 40.

on spinbreaker we orgainized 180+ 50+ to to raid thrall and made 3 west coast servers crash right when we got him to 3 percent. server crash > alliance

The bosses are basically identically to players except they have massive amount of HP.

That being said, the bosses have different "true levels"

Here are the list of faction bosses:

Alliance:

Highlord Bolvar, aka I didn't see a giant dragon standing five feet away from me, Fordragon----at stormwind keep
Archbishop, aka I have a basement inviting any horde warlock to summon raid me, Benedictus------at stormwind cathedal
King Magni, aka I need you to kill my son in law, Bronzebeard-----at ironforge highseat
High Tinker, aka no nobody know I exist, Mekkar------at ironforge Tinkertown
Archdruid Faugon, need anger management, Staghelm------at top of Cenarion Conclave at darnassus
Priestess Tyrande, aka husband missing for ten thousand years, Whisperwind---at temple of moon at Darnasus
Lady Jaina, aka I love green (Thrall) more than blond (Arthas), Proudmoore----at top of the Theramore central keep

Horde:

Lady Sylvanas, aka I am the queen of Zerg..er forsaken, Windrunner----at Undercity Royal Chamber
Majordomo, aka I can fly before the beer gut, Varimathas----at Undercity Royal Chamber
Warchief, aka I didn't ninja this platemail, Thrall---at Orgrimmar valley of wisdom
(Don't know his title) Vol`jin, aka I like to stand and chill while alliance raiding Thrall --at orgrimmar valley of wisdom
Highchieftain Cairne, aka I die three times a day at Warcraft III, Bloodhoof---highchieftian's tent at Thunderbuff

That being said, i think the easiest boss to take down will in fact be Archbishop Benedictus. Since there is a basement right beside him which is perfect for horde's summon sneak attack. The archdruid, Tyrande and Jaina are all standing at pretty cramped places, so they are a bit harder.

Sylvanas and varimathas are standing together. Thrall and Vol'jin is standing together. But no raid is really stupid enough to take two bosses on at the same time. They will simply pull one out.

Again, all bosses are acting as players in term of damage, which means they can outlevel you by 10000 level, but you will still be able to hit them.

According to the World of Warcraft Strategy guide, all the bosses are in fact level 63 with exception of Bolvar, Varimathas and Tyrande. (Don't flame me if I remembered wrong.)

varimathas, level 100---probably why no one has tried to mess with him yet. As far as we know, he could have kicked Ragnaros' ass by himself if he tried.

Tyrande Wisperwind, level 75----sigh...poor darnassus, with max population of 5 people at peak hour. Though I did hear quite a few raid wipe from her by the starfall.

Highland Bolvar Fordragon, level 90---if you are alliance come to Stormwind three times a day and watch he kill 7 level 62 Onixya's elite guards by himself and have 80% health left. It has been confirmed by my own eye that he does indeed use divine shield...multiple times in a 10 minute. As far as I know, he is the only boss that will heal himself to full health.

The rest are the bits of information I had with how these bosses fight.

Alliance:

Highlord Bolvar Fordragon----A combination of warrior and paladin, divine shield + cleave + laying of hand? (heal himself to full, but didn't see his mana go down. I want his talent spec!) Summon stormwind guards.

Archbishop benedictus------so far i heard is that he bashes you with his staff and cast holy nova.

King Magni Bronzebeard-----Avatar from Warcraft III. Don't become immune to magic though.

High Tinker Mekkar------no fight heard

Archdruid Faugon Staghelm------been took down a few times, but I don't have any information on him.

Priestess Tyrande Whisperwind---only know she cast starfall sometimes. Summoning darnassus sentienal.

Lady Jaina Proudmoore----Massive AoE at very cramped tower and she will teleport your maintank outside theramore. (Imagining Jaina with a baseball bat and yell "Home Run!") Summoning theramore guard.

Horde:

Lady Sylvanas Windrunner----Shooting arrow with a lot of damage, melee with a sword and teleport around. Summon skeleton guards.

Majordomo Varimathas----no fight recorded

Warchief Thrall---Only saw him fight at distance from the alliance most wanted video. Summon Orgrimar grunts. (He is a platemailed shaman. i don't know whether he cast shocks or not)

Vol`jin-----no fight recorded

Highchieftain Cairne Bloodhoof---Same old Cairne from warcraft III. No rebirth though and the weapon is a giant totem instead of a halberd now.

Beside the trouble from players at the opposing faction, there is also another thing...the server simply can't handle hundreds of players fighting at the same place + the things that will fly there.

Imagining a hunter just kill a shammy with auto shots when he just unfreezed at 30 seconds at lagforge and saw he have 200 life left with pain and corruption on his head. The priest and warlock laughed at him and proceed to fall into the great forge after another lag. A pally try to interrupt a druid's heal spell, but didn't realize a warrior has been beating on him with auto attack for the past minutes since his screen froze. All at the same time we see blizzard, hurricane and hellfire flying all over the place, more people fall into the forge, spirit healer charges you 5g to revive since she now have revives every second.

Dont hurt Thrall. Hes friendly. Try to go old hillsbrad and play the Warcraft 3 campain (Reign of Chaos) Then u understand why Thrall will be so heavy guarded.

Also do the Rexxar missions in Warcraft 3 The Frozen Throne. Then see how friendy he can be to some humans :)

Since patch 2.3 where you can see how much mana things have, I have found that Thrall has 1,016,100 mana. That's a lot.

Thrall has 50k mana while seated in Ogrimmar and 101k when in Nagrand. I dont see any logical reason for this as Alliance cant attack him in Garadar anyway :S Oh and i believe the spawn time on all city bosses is 2 hours

If you read the book "lord of the clans" the name thrall was given to him by the humans that raised him and means "slave"

I would just like point out a few things. Orgrimmar and Undercity have back doors that lead suspiciously close to their respective leaders. Orgrimar has a back door and through which i watched my 70 Paladin friend simply walk in killing the guards and made his way into the Cleft of Shadow. A barely guarded back-door, are you kidding me? And in Undercity, they might get their precious birkenstocks slimy, but they can come in through the flight path area. and whats near there? oh, The Dark Lady and Varimathras. Thunder Bluff, you have to get past the dreaded elevator, oh no! Admittedly, you'll have to do some walking to get to Cairne. And not to forget Tarren Mill and SouthShore. Can i get a guard count? Tell me which one is better guarded.
Ironforge was well-named. Its not easy to get into. is there a back-door? if so, let me know. Darnassus, I think there may be a back-door, i havent explored it too much, for obvious reasons. And Stormwind, wheres the back door? If anyone knows the answers please post. Aerie Peak, Horde.

There are times when it is more fun to watch a world boss destroying two raid groups than to join in. Other than that, Thrall and Jaina are just too cool to be killed... but I will give you props if you did.
