As a resto druid, since patch 2.4, this has been my favorite gem to socket. With the large buff to spirit based regen, I no longer need to socket my gear with spirit or mp5(or int in some cases). Along with elixirs, weapon oil, self innervate(when needed), and shadow priests or shaman, I never run out of mana, so gemming for pure healing is, in my opinion, the best way to increase your raid/group viability.

Best Red Gem for Healadins barring Kailee's Rose. The price on AH's may be exorbitant at 1st but should settle in to an affordable range.
