Didn't this used to increase Shred damage?

Does anyone know of another Idol to increase Shred? I was planning on using this in instances where I will be spamming shred most of the time (with the odd mangle to keep the debuff up)

Nerfed with 2.0.10 patch to only add 45 damage to Mangle (Bear). It used to add 58 damage.

Is it just me, or is this and the level 60 idol the ONLY tanking ones worth taking? The lacerate idol does nothing since the damage on lacerate does minimal threat.

I have no idea why wowhead lists it as 24 for cat and 51.75 for bear, but in live it's 29 for cat. So it actualy increases damage done by Mangle (Cat) for 29 damage.

gg blizzard guess all us other druids are out of luck. HAVE to be feral to use this

This is my favorite idol, and I'm lvl 70 feral druid. Still hoping for an upgrade eventually...

I can't believe that the single best idol in the game for a feral DPS druid is a GREEN...

Then again, if this is considered green... I'd love to see an epic version....

i was thinking of grabbing the idol of brutality but i think this is a winner for bear as well. the reason: mangle is our 2nd most important threat tool as it has an extra threat added on top of basic bear threat addition. more mangle = more threat

no. once you've disenchanted/vendored/tossed an quest reward, you can NOT get it back.

Wow probably one of the best idols ive seen so far.

1. It's easy to get, no quest line needed

2. It increases the damage of one of our mainly, in battle attacks.

3. You can get it before lvl

The 3 idols i would use would be these:

1. Idol of the Wild for pve and/or pvp

2. Everbloom idol for pvp since shred only costs two more energy than mangle (with talent) and with the mangle debuff shred can do some serious damage

3. Idol of the raven goddess for instances or raids if your not the tank because crit chance helps.

The only compearable idols are:
Idol of Brutality-Easy to get just stealth through some mobs in Stratholme and kill a boss.If it doesnt drop reset instance
Idol of Terror-Costs 20 BoJ

its funny that druids get this $%^& while paladins get Libram of wracking (your exo cost 30 less mana) for the same quest. Sucks ass.
