So what does PuG stand for? I mean I know what one is, I've spent about 10 hours a week for the last few months of my life in one. But what does it actually stand for?

They can't help it. They're just kids.
That kind of sarcasm doesn't help anyone. It just makes you look like a &*!@#$. There was really no need for there to be any more than 1 reply to this topic anyway.
All I was doing was asking an honest question. How else am I supposed to learn?
As for the other replies, thankyou. As I said, I've been in plenty of them, some were great, some were terrible. Knowing the acronym doesn't improve my gaming experience in any way, but it does satisfy my curiosity.

Don't worry I laughed. Just thought I might give him a little bit of adult advice on etiquette :p
And I didn't need my noobish ways to be pointed out to me because I already established them at the start of the thread. New people play WoW every day. That makes for a lot of noobs. More seasoned players should embrace it, it gives them a chance to show off how "pro" they are

Here's my opinion, if a person is old enough to use the internet, post on a forum, and articulate a sentence as grammatically correct as stated in the OP, then:
That person should be old enough to do their own research
first
and then ask questions when they can't find an answer. Not ask questions as soon as the happen and not put forth any effort what-so-ever to do 5 sec. of research that it took to find the answer.
No offence intended. This is my honest opinion.
Jeez. Never knew asking a very simple question could stir up so much opinion. This thread has turned out to be more fun than I intended.
