Probably the easiest and quickest of the Horde cities to navigate. Leveling trade professions in Thunder Bluff is made simple due to the three raised tiers the city is divided into. Getting to trainers and back to the bank/auction house is no problem.

Since the invasion 3 weeks before Wrath of the Lich King comes out, a pyramid is floating outside the middle rise.

Random helpful locations-
The Pools of Vision housing Mage and Priest trainers are in the cave on the Spirit Rise
Blacksmith/Mining trainers and Weaponmaster are on the lower rise
First Aid is on the Spirit Rise
Cooking/Fishing are on the High Rise
If you follow the path around the back of the Inn, you'll eventually come upon the Prairie Dog Vendor's building. (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/npc=8401)

Don't be hasty while navigating the bridges, as falling from these heights is certain death (not to mention an embarassing waste of a good 5 minutes.) to almost all characters who don't have an ability/item to slow their fall, or a hardcore raid tank's health pool. I'm not sure exactly how much damage a fall off the mesas will cause, but it's enough to kill a level 50 player easily.

This is where I always head when I'm leveling my engineering. I love how the bank, auctioneers, and forge/anvil are all on the same tier, just throw on aspect of the cheetah and zoom around.

1. Get mats (bank or AH)
2. craft item
3. sell item (or vender)
4. Repeat
all in the same area. Unlike org where the anvil is waaaayyy away from the AH and bank :(
THE most well laid out Horde City, imho. Too bad it's out of the way...(I've met lvl 60s who don't have the FP....)

on the other hand,jumping down to an elevator isnt hard and it is a lot of fun.

Only way up to the city is the Elevators. Many ways down if you love jumping :P

My favourite location to use AH as you can go from mail box to auction house while still mounted, and preaty much anywhere else in the city without being dismounted.
You can even travel up the centre totem pole without being dismounted if you go one rise at a time making the city a great place if you are leveling a crafting profession.

I wish the city was high enough so that you can't see the ground from it though, it would make traveling across the rises alot cooler ;-)

my personal third favorite city in WoW. I love how its so easy to get around, i love the style of it and the whole mulgore / tauren race. Its not very big so it doesnt take long to get around and getting down is fun....
Also as of Patch 3.2.0 there is a zeppelin going to orgrimmar. unique because its the only zeppelin that doesn't teleport so its like a mount not like a boat. :)

It's because no one ever goes there. You can go from Orgrimmar to most places you can from Thunder Bluff, and other as a big shiney place for Alliance to raid it serves no real function for the Horde.

Well now that they have auction houses i think TB
is way better,i mean why go through all that lag of orgrimmar.........Tauren are also the coolest race in the game,they can step on a night elf and cruch them...and gnomes suck

i like thunder bluff thats where i get most of my food and items and wepons from and skills a like orgimmer too but i am a LVL 21 Tauren Hunter.

I love thunder bluff. Its like Ogrimmar but it looks better and doesn't lag as much. Also, you can easily find the wind rider master because he's in a giant totem pole that u can see from anywhere in the city. The place is really well organised as well - i always used to get lost in Ogrimmar. BTW im not a tauren, i'm an orc - so this isn't prejeudice.

thunder bluff has all the same services of orgrimmar except the zeppelin, and with less lag. it's also a shorter flight to it then to orgrimmar if you happen to be grinding in 1k needles, feralas, silithus, tanaris, or stonetalon.

I would recommend TB for lowbies who need to smith or engineer pre-mount. The AH, mailbox, anvil + forge and bank are all right next to each other, where as in Org and UC you have to run half the area.

If you're a druid you should prolly be in TB alot... The only other Major City with a druid trainer is SM and thats only if you have TBC.

Its a nice place to visit but wouldnt want to live there No Jewelcrafter so Silvermoon is home till Shattrath city for me.
