tok one of these down as a level 52 shadowpriest, had to use healform and renew wile kiting him down useing sw:p and vt

and btw, they are immune to fear

Was able to solo as a 53 Hunter with a cat (with 60 Fire Resistance.)
I found these guys to be much easier to solo than the Dragonspawn.

I kill a few of these guys with a 51 hunter with a boar, mend pet and serpent sting.

I was able to solo one as a lvl 51 Shadow Priest, all I had to do was use a health pot... Other than that, just another walk in the park.

These are COMPLETELY IMMUNE to fire spells so these can be a big pain for pyro mages such as myself.

I suggest throwing up your Fire Ward, throw a couple Frostbolts till he gets to you then Frost Nova, Blink, then either Frostbolt again or Arcane Missile until he gets to you again, by this point you will probably either have to reapply Fire Ward or use Mana Shield then use Cone of Cold and Blink. Wash rinse repeat. You should also use counter spell when needed. This is the same formula I use for Fire Elementals etc.

it's a lot of fun to kite this folks to goldshire and kill lowbies with their AoE fire breath :P. as a druid just shift to bear form and spam Faerie Fire every CD till you get to goldshire :D

Its always fun to pull one one these from Burning Steppes and kite it to either Redrige, Goldshire, or Westfall.

One time, a couple of lvl 30-40 horde visited Westfall thinking they were "The &*!@", and I was on my lvl 21 NE Hunter that time.
I ran myself to Burning Steppes, with a 70 friend to kill surrounding mobs, and kited myself a nice Black Drake.

It got to Westfall, I pretended to be "in trouble" so a few nubs went to go attack it, adding themselves in its "Death List". The horde thought they could defeat it, so they gave it a few hits, adding themselves in the Drake's aggro list. I let the Drake kill myself, and I sat back and watched it eat everyone.
It Killed all 3 horde, and a couple of questing nubs.

I rezzed, and rinse and repeat until they finally left. And i was glad I wasnt flagged..

I own a lvl 47 hunter and i can solo kite/kill this Drake... Its very simple. 1) pull Drake with an Aimed Shot 2) Continue to DoT Drake with Vyper Sting every 10-12 secounds ( depending on your mana pool ) 3) Kite Drake toward Red Ridge heading South/West toward Storm Wind 4) After awhile the Drake will die and you will be able to loot around 12-20s and some other goodies.

The Drake will need some getting use to for beginner kiters so just keep trying and you will get the hang of it. Enjoy :) Dargon of Storm Scale

Ice mages might get the impression they can bring one down solo, but the bastard seems immune to Nova and Frostbite. The best I was able to do solo at 58 was bring it down to 35% health.

Get someone to share the aggro, anyone really.. and he will fall extremely easy.

haha its times like these that I love being a hunter. A lvl 59 Mage can't beat one, but I can take one down in a minute at 51. Adds aren't a problem for me, not sure why they are for you all.

Like any other drake, it has a lot of health. I soloed all of Dragonkin Menace as a 59 mage, but couldn't bring one of these guys down

Thats strange for all you who are 55+ and have a hard time killing em.
Im a lv 49 holy/ret pally and i managed to kill one with one of the worgs on me after i got him around to 1/2 health.

I could take these guys down when I was level 50, but most of the time there's a Scorpid or Welp nearby and then it gets pretty tough. The welps got fireballs that keep killing my pet
