If you tame this or a regular Kraul Bat at level 26 it will have Dive 1. Stay in the instance and learn it because as soon as you zone it forgets it, assumedly a little baggage from Blizzard's dungeon retuning. A pet usually has to be level 30 to know it.

Yes they are tamable... but no you won't have the silence spell... all they have is dive (40% speed 15 sec)

ive tamed this pet twice. every time after i tame it i get dive but then i hearth out and his dive is gone...wtf? anyone know anything about that?

Oh, c'mon! Bat has the skill innate after taming--you dont. You must learn it from him, and it may be quickly or after extensive time...be patient and learn his skill. BTW, new hunters <who apparently dont know how to learn skills/train pets> visit Petopia.com for guide to training your pet....GL! ;)

Its nothing to do with being patient. I have tamed and learned this skill 3 times from bats in RFK. As soon as you zone or dismiss the pet you lose the ability from pet bar and from your list of skills when you use the beast training tab. I submitted a ticket and was informed this was a known issue. They didnt bother to tell me Blizz decided Dive1 should be a lvl 30 skill ONLY. So yes, you can tame a bat in RFK, you can see the message "you have learned a new skill (Dive 1)"in your chat window and have the ability listed in your pet skills you are able to train. However the moment you zone out, dismiss pet or hearth, the skill is gone from the pet bar AND your list of trainable skills. You have to wait to get this from an Arathi Highlands bird.

So your comment about new hunters not knowing how to train is a bit condescending. Might want to have petopia update their information as its out of date. This issue is on the bugs forum on Blizz's boards. The GM "help" was laughable, I had to find out from hunters in game that had experienced same problem that I only had to wait a few levels and tame an arathi bird that also has Dive 1. I believe lowest level bird is 31 that you can get the skill from. So instead of my owl having it at 26 I have to wait 5 levels. Go blizz for not being honest and having GMs that are clueless. A simple "yes or no" answer from the GM was all I expected but didnt get.

after Ramtusk and the plateaux with bridres between them. Greater Kraul Bat does a silence spell.
