I've had my wolf since lvl 41 (now 59)he does good damage and can hold agro very well. This is a pet worth keeping.

i just got him and went through all that stuff and allies{ lvl 35 troll hunterPvPserver} and i is great i love it great HP great dmg i think hes gona stay with me forever and i recomrnd him for anyone that can get him=)

My friend (lvl 35 female troll hunter) is on her way to get one, i have been reading up on this pet. It looks to me it is a great pet for her!

Tamed the wolf at lvl 36. Easy to tame: Freezing Trap then tame. Skills when tamed: Bite (rank 5)Dash (rank 1) Status after tamed: 155 power, 53-66 dmg, +20 spel bonus, 2114 armor, 70 strength, 60 agility, 172 stamina, 25 instellect, 48 spirit. Good luck with taming it!

I decided to go get this guy for my Hunter as soon as I hit 35 for Bite 5 & Dash.
As soon as I tame him and feed him up to 125% Happiness a 44 Orc Shaman "Hopegrabber" decided he was going to get an easy kill off of my level 35 Hunter "Santacleeze"...
Well having played my hunter in BG's for months as a level 29 Twink I know how to keep my distance while still getting off shots!
I did have to use a +500 Healing potion but still ended up killing him!
The Crag Coyote does really nice damage but won't keep agro unless you choose the "Growl" ability that is a freebie in the taming list.
