If you're lucky enough to get a weapon from one of these that's a good 7-8g extra to your gold.
They may be green, but damn, they sure vendor for a lot.

I have to say that a drop rate of 10% for a badge seem kind of high.

I have opened about 40 of these things and I have received 8 badges. 20% for me at the moment.

The other good thing is that I have more Greater Planar Essences and Arcane Dust I know what to do with.

Is it possible that the Supplies bag can reset the loot in it if its not looted like the box that has the Illidari Tabard?

There are total of 5 Quests which reward these bags 'o supplies. Even thow Wowhead lists 7 they are doubles. Other one being first time quest and the other when phase has changed.

You can get them from doing Nagrand reading quest, Hellfire Gate quest, Mana Cells at BeM and Sunfury Battle plans. Phase 4 which not many have opened yet has the 5th quest in Hellfire.

I have found that I get a minimum of 7 badges a week from this if i do all the supply bag quests every day of the week, usually its one badge per all the quests, sometimes i will go a day or two without badges and get 1 out of each bag on the third day. So if you need badges of Justice this is definitely a nice way to make some coin and get some badges with about 15-20 mins of your time(epic fllyer).

For a casual who barely has time to raid or do 5 mans, the fact that these bags can drop BoJ is a real boon. I've already gotten 18 badges so far.

Sure it's not as quick as doing raids / 5 mans but since I don't do these, the quests are my only source of BoJ.

True, that quest stopped rewarding a shattered sun supplies.

i've also heard that those bags will no longer have a chance to drop badge of justice as of 2.4.2 can any1 confirm if they got any since then? i myself didn't get any.

Having opened maybe 60-70 bags over the past couple of weeks, I've _always_ gotten a lvl 70 green in each bag, plus the occasional badge.

I got 2 badges tonight.

Rumor is that these are like the Consortium monthly gem bags and that higher rep with the Shattered Sun Offensive will cause the bags to drop better loot.

I was 8000/12000 Honored when I got my first badge and I got two in one night.

The reason that the drop rates are going up is likely because people's rep is going up, resulting in better drop rates.

The good news is, this may mean you have substantially MORE than a 10% chance of getting a BoJ when you do the dailies at Exalted.

Maybe I'm just a lucky Priest, but right now, I'm sitting at 7 badges on 30 bags. Thats about 23% of drop rate. I did get Friendly and Honored pretty quickly though. I think I opened 6 bags (got 1 Badge) at Friendly and the rest (6 Badges out of 24 Bags) were at Honored.

So the Consortium bag theory might be true.

Ok, there are now 5 quests at any given time to receive this reward that I know of. They are all at the top of this page. It looks like there are 6, but 2 of them are the same quest. They have different names because it depends on the portal status on your realm. By the time you read this the portal should be up on your server making the Intercepting the Mana Cells quest extinct and the Maintaining the Sunwell Portal will have taken it's place. I assume more will be added as time goes on.

The newest one on my server is Discovering your roots once the Harbor was obtained.

Gotten 5 badges out of every bag you can get from neutral (?) to exalted. Not really that great, but atleast it's something.

Ok I must have the worst luck with then. I have completed these SSO dailies and had over 50 of these supply bags.

I have only ever received 1 BoJ from it and was from like my 2nd bag. I thought maybe it was not intended and fixed in 2.4 patch but reading here, people are still getting BoJ from these bags?

I am 4k in rep from being Exalted with SSO and my god, I would give them 5G to let me do there stupid daily task if I would get a BoJ in a Supply pack.

You get 2 packs in Shat: Phase Readings and Attack plans.
1 in Hellfire: Bombing Gateways(or other one, always do both)
1 on the Isle: can't remember which there, but always done it, when I get out there.

the chance of getting a badge in these is fairly common, decent way to farm badges in addition to heroics and the daily heroic.

they did not take out the badges as possible loot, my hubby just got one the other day. I do how ever think the drop rate is just low (and also..luck) when these dailies first came out me and my hubby did them together and it seemed in each grp of dailies he was getting 1-2 badges where ive only gotten 2 badges total from these since i started doing them. so i guess it all boils down to almsot the same as everything else, its just luck. i wouldnt recomend it as a way of "farming" badges, but a good way to maybe get an extra badge or two, with out having to do a heroic or raid. plus you get greens you can DE or vendor, plus the 10ish g you get per daily

Did the Shattered Sun Daily today for the readings in Nagrand, did not get a shattered sun supply pack for completion, only 9 gold.

Feels nerfed since the patch, but could be just a coincidence or bad luck.

Pre-patch 5 from 15.
Post-patch 0 from 16.

Im the opposite, since the update my drop rate has been at least 25% with two badges dropping in one day.

I thought at first after the patch that maybe they had nerfed the drop rate because for the first time, I didn't get one when I completed all of the available quests on a given day.

But then in subsequent days, I got one. And yesterday I actually got 2 badges out of 3 quests.

I actually came here to see if the drop rate had increased. Because I have definitely been getting somewhere between 15% and 20%.

I guess I'm just lucky!

This must be nerfed. 28 bags (7x4 last week since patch) and I got IMBA null, zero, noll, none Badge of Justice! Wont do those anymore, rather spend my time on fast dailys to get gold...but I dont need more gold, got over 30k now, lol.

I've been getting way WAY less badges since the patch where they nerfed the Nagrand goggle quest from getting the bag.

I don't tend to jump to these kinds of conclusions lightly, as I'm aware of how random number generators work. But I'm convinced they nerfed the drop rate in this particular case.
