Obviously, intended for Moonkins, looks extremely nice and look forward to picking them up.

One thing that I would like to point out to PvE minded Balance Druids is that if you are unconcerned with armor, and happen to be short on hit, the cloth version of these legs (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=34918) are very similar, with minor stat shifts. The leather pants have one less stamina point, but gain 4 int and 2 spirit, with the same spell damage as the cloth version when taking into account the extra intellect. HOWEVER, the cloth pants have 25 hit rating instead of 28 crit rating. Moonkins finding themselves short on hit might want to consider taking the cloth pants instead of the Leather pants, as reaching the hit cap is far more vital to PvE DPS than the extra crit provided by these pants.

Another thing to consider is that a priest's improved spirit buff means the extra spirit on these pants and the other new badge rewards translates into extra spell damage in a raiding environment.

Basically if you roll in PvP gear all the time then you are wasting item points on unneeded stamina and resilience, the badge rewards tend to support more pure dps which is what is needed in raids. Before the sockets these pants already have identical mana regen and damage stats to the s3 arena legs and superior crit, after the 2 sockets there is no comparison for dps stats.

That being said, for a hit capped moonkin I'm not sure how these fare compared to the also-new Corrupted Soulcloth Pantaloons, it seems like those do a little better if you are confident in your mana supply due to the extra Crit, but the Spirit on these pants as well as the extra Intellect would be better for longevity.

With these pants socketed with Glowing Shadowsong Amethyst and Radiant Seaspray Emerald (easy to get if your gem vendor is open), and enchanted with Runic Spellthread, these pants have +112 spell damage, 33 crit, and 43 stamina. Quite nice (and for me, a lovely upgrade, considering my damage pants are my healing pants!)

Wow. Bloody nice spell damage for legs. I know I would cop flak from the boomkin community for htis, but I am well contemplating getting these for my ele shammy.

It sucks the way that all the mail caster (i.e. ele shammy) gear you can buy from the smith has spell haste instead of crit. I would take crit over spell haste any day as an ele shammy

Which are the Mail variation of Same Legs And they come with Spell Haste instead of spell Crit, which is way way better imo.
