Using blue gems in these, you could get another +8 mp5 (Including socket), 4 int, and 18 healing on top, bringing them to the following:

30 Stamina
44 Intellect
Increases healing done by spells and effects up to 104 and damage done by spells and effects up to 35.
Restores 20 mana per five

Essentially turns them into an mp5 version of Tier 4 legs, perfect for Dreamstate builds.

The only thing I don't like is the lack of spirit on these legs. With the talent changes allowing 30% regen while casting versus 15% makes getting some Spirit pretty decent and really helps ToL Druids, too.

Honestly, if I had to say, I'd think that Dreamstate builds would much rather take these legs and socket in mp5 versus a Tree who would probably stick with a tier set to get a balance between mana per five and spirit to help not only 5sr casting, but getting their aura to a decent level.

Very good leggings either way - Definately a competitor versus tier 4, but after that, it fades fast versus tier 5 and beyond.

This item was modified recently (pre 2.3 patch) to have Spirit instead of MP5.

Here is the comparison with Nordrassil Life-Kilt, considering the stats change.

PoSR:
+4 Int, +4 Spi, + red socket, +yellow socket.

NLK:
+7 Stamina, +15 healing, +11 MP5.

With rare gems socketed (Teardrop Living Ruby in red, Royal Nightseye in blue, and Luminous Noble Topaz in yellow), the comparison becomes:

PoSR:
+8 Int, +4 Spi, +8 healing

NLK:
+7 Stamina, +9 MP5

Pretty close. In the end, it all hinges on whether you need more Mana regen (Life-Kilt) or more +healing (Pants). Also, do keep in mind the Pants can be bought after a few weeks of Heroics (or a couple of weeks of Kara + Heroics), while the Life-Kilt token drops from SSC.

Call me a nub and fad my comment to gray if you like but i want to know why would you place a blue gem +2mp/5sec and healling insted of a +healing and spirit for a druid? And with that question does 2 or 4 spirit contest with 2mp/5sec? im in Tree of life form and i find spirit a whole lot more helpful then mp/5 esspecialy when useing innervert or having that healing aura bonus. I just want to know so i know im not screwing myself over when im useing purified shadow pearl insted of royal nightseye. Thanks for all the help.

Just got them cause I did not have anything better to buy.

Rather equivalent to the T4 ones which I already had, but I gemmed it with all teardrop, giving me roughly ~55 more +healing giving up the 10mp5 that the T4 give. Provided that patch 2.3 buffed a full resto druid's mp5 by a lot (1/3 of spirit), the trade off is rather nice.

Got me about 200g back though for new gems and spellthread, but this is just like 1-2 days of playing to get back :D
