The yellow hue and short sleeves really make for an ugly looking combination given that most healer gear I've seen to date tends towards a violet tinge.

T4 gloves look a little out of place with the short sleeves also.

That said, populate the gem slots and you have a really good robe. Not as much +healing as some others, but I find the 48stam hard to pass up.

This robe is quite a good item for any entry-level raiding priest to pick up to use as stamina gear on health-sensitive fights. The 51 stamina is huge. Since the socket bonus is resilience, you can ignore that and socket it with stamina gems. I personally put my +15 stamina Charmed Amani Jewel into this along with 2 Solid Star of Elune for a total of 79 stamina.

It still has a good amount of intellect, healing and mp5 that you're not sacrificing too many stats to wear this over a similar level epic like the Masquerade Gown or the T4 robe, and 14500 honor isn't that hard to get, PvP premade groups will gladly bring healers along.

Let's say you have Hallowed garments https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=28230 (blue drop from SL-normal). This S1 item will upgrade you by:

+39 stamina
+2 intellect
-26 spirit
+25 resil
+6 MP5
-11 healing
RYY slots (instead of RYB)

For PVE purposes, I'd choose the Hallowed garments over the S1 gear.
