I'm curious for opinions from other shaman.
Compare this to the Skyshatter Harness and assume it's gemmed all with 8 str (I know you can do better ones but for the sake of simplicity).
It would have 32 more attack power (all of which would be affected by kings - so in a raid environment, actually 46 more AP), 15 hit rating and 23 int.
How does that compare to 49 agility (53-54 under BoK) in terms of dps?
I'm assuming the wearer would be otherwise in Skyshatter because of the good 4pc bonus - which isn't very heavy on crit.

arguably the best hunter chest piece currently in the game, it would really own if had sockets and maybe a bit of intellect, but that would make it kind of overpowerd

Im honestly still in debate weather or not this item is actually and upgrade over the T5 hunter BP...

Granted it does have quite alot of stamina, and agility...

but over the t5 chest, it looses 19 hit.. alot of int, and gains basically 8rap and just a tad bit of crit.. I don't honestly know if it is worth it.

As a survival hunter, i would take this over the t6 chest. There is more agi and i would rather take the mp5 over intellect (my opinion). Overall, a great piece of mail, but would be SO much better if it had some gem slots

Both Illidan and Archimonde have drops of level 151. Tier6 armor is what equals to lvl 146 gear.

This particular mail-piece here is another drop from Archimonde. But theres a 1% chance that im wrong.

Btw- its probably size "M" so tauren hunters- dont try to /flex in this! Expensive piece to ruin..

well, i think its better a pvp chest... in the case of hunters
dunno about shammys and dont even care they always steal my kara armors -.-
i say its rather for pvp cause there's not even a point of mana on it, and mp5 doesnt help us that much in raid =/

That is a Hunter chest piece without question. An enhance shammy is the only type of shaman who REALLY benefits from this item. Regardless of the type of Hunter you are, this is good for you, thus giving the edge to Hunters.

As far as Hunter VS Enhancement Shaman...
They can both use it. Let them both roll/use their DKP for it. Whoever wants to spend more or rolls best gets it. End of story.

This is pvp... Really odd. t6 is more pvp based too. I think end end end game stuff is always pvp based. Because when you get this and t6 your done with raiding. So you pvp. I think it makes sence. I like it.

Ok well personally, having a Hunter i would love this item. However i would not mind if an Enhancement Shammy rolled/spent dkp on it against me and heres my reasoning:

1. 66 stamina great for both Hunter and Shammy
2. Although there is no +strength there is +atk power
3. Mana restoration on equip
4. Agility is as good for Enhance shammys as it is for Hunters
5. The armour rating makes it one of the best chest pieces for both classes.

Yhat being said if ur not an Enhance shammy please keep ur hands off if theres a Hunter with u.

Do you honestly know how to play a lvl 70? yeah its a more a hunter chest than a shaman chest, but do you honestly think shamans "pretend" to DPS? Just because hunters are a "DPS" class doesnt mean they out DPS classes like Elemental/Enhancement shamans, Moonkin druids, Shadow priests, etc. Elemental shamans can DPS the &*!@ out of stuff, with Clearcasting, Elemental Fury, Unrelenting Storm, Lightning Reach, Lightning Mastery, Overload, Totem of Wrath, and the list goes on, elemental shamans who spam lightning bolt are both powerful and mana efficient.

This is an item for Hunters and Shamans.. end of story.
stop calling hunters greedy, 3/4 of your drops are shammy mail pieces, and what DPS mail does drop, the hunters get to compete with all the shammys over it as well..

Both Shamans and Hunters can use this, it's a great piece for both.. (common sense should kick in after everybody is saying the same damn thing over and over in between the morons arguing over who needs it more...)

We've established that this is a piece for either class. so shut up about it.

if you're in a nice guild raiding high end there will probably not be any discussion, I'm enhancement shammy and everytime i argue about who should loot it is here in thottbot.
90% of those (mostly) hunters that say not for shammies u shamies go for strength its only for #$%^&*!s wont ever see it drop because that kind of guilds don't recruit 12 year old selfish players.
Personally what i did is to "pact" with hunters of my guild. I will never roll on a "hunter" item if a hunter wants it but when the tier6 drops they let mee loot it before them.
